Forest Gardens Living
The chalet’s name nods to the property’s wooded surroundings in Echoland. While the setting is central (you’re just a stroll from the area’s best restaurants), you also get a taste of Hakuba’s serene forests, with full wall windows offering constant reminders of your beautiful snow-covered surroundings. The décor has touches of timber too, but with an overarching industrial chic theme adding a modern twist. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy some serenity amid the trees without forgoing any modern comforts.
Living Room
Located on the upper floor, the living room puts a chic modern spin on classic alpine décor. The room is crowned with a double height ceiling and streamlined beams, with glass doors leading out to a large balcony. There are large sofas and a plush swivel chair to lounge on, with a huge flatscreen TV (complete with Netflix access) providing entertainment while an easy-to-use fireplace adds a cosy glow.
Dining Room
Thanks to the chalet’s open floor plan, there’s no need to break up the party before, during, or after dinner. With the dining table positioned right by the lounge area, you can keep the conversation going without interruptions. The dining table is a beautiful timber number which can seat 10 guests on wicker back chairs. Also located close to the lounge area is the chalet’s open plan kitchen which comes with all the essentials – and then some. The grey-and-timber kitchen features all the necessary appliances as well as offering wine and champagne glasses, kids’ plates and cutlery, a rice cooker, hot pot, and more.

Forest Gardens is located in Hakuba, a ski mecca positioned in the Japanese Alps. The chalet is located in Echoland which has become Hakuba’s unofficial restaurant district. True to its name, Forest Gardens is nestled amid the trees while also being just a short stroll from great restaurants and cafes. Hie and Calico are just a few of the venues located within a five-minute walk. The Hakuba valley has 10 ski resorts to choose from. While they’re not within walking distance, the lifts at Happo One, Hakuba 47, Goryu, and Iwatake are all just a 5–10-minute drive away. The shuttle bus stop isn’t far from the chalet but the easiest way to get around is by renting your own vehicle.
