Living Room

The most striking feature in the elegant living room is the built in sofa which takes up one full wall. Plush grey cushions and eclectic blue pillows provide cosy comfort while you admire the views looking over the clear blue pool. You can leave the glass doors open to enjoy tropical alfresco living or close them when you prefer to cool off with the AC turned on. When you feel like vegging out in front of the TV, the villa also has a separate TV room where you can binge on your favourite TV shows and movies in air-conditioned comfort.

Dining Room

The dining room is housed in a beautiful space surrounded by glass doors on three sides, allowing guests to enjoy unobstructed views of the villa’s enviable saltwater pool while dining. The square dining table is surrounded by ten chairs, though you can also enjoy your meals gathered around one of the smaller tables positioned outside on the terrace. The villa’s fully equipped kitchen is discretely tucked behind the dining room, allowing the superstar kitchen staff to prepare meals and drinks without intruding on your private moments.

Garden

The villa’s pool is a real showstopper. Stretching at 18 metres long, this saltwater stunner offers refreshing respite from the tropical weather for swimmers of all ages and abilities. You can clock rigorous laps in the deep end or luxuriate in the shallow section with a good book or a cold drink in hand – the choice is all yours! Obviously, this wading area is great for the kids as well. When you’re not busy splashing around the pool, the villa’s central courtyard works as an idyllic outdoor living room where you can recline back on elegant grey seats while admiring the gorgeous setting and swapping Sri Lankan stories with your travel companions. One more surprise awaits on the top floor where you will discover the villa’s fabulous rooftop terrace. This is the perfect place for practicing yoga or hosting a soiree framed by blissful views of the tropical coastline.

Ginger Palm Villa features four elegant bedrooms. The bedrooms feature cool white walls, generous windows and stretches of exposed concrete. These elements create a fresh modern backdrop that’s beautifully juxtaposed by local textiles and artwork, all of it framed by tropical views of the surrounding palm trees. Three bedrooms come with king-sized beds, while the fourth features two sets of bunk beds that are ideal for children. Each room is adjoined by an ensuite bathroom.

Ginger Palm Villa is a four-bedroom villa that’s built over three levels. The ground floor houses the living and dining areas which give way to the villa’s 18-metre-long saltwater pool. The first floor houses the four bedrooms, while the top floor houses the villa’s rooftop patio.

Villa Manager

Ginger Palm Villa’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Ginger Palm Villa is located in Hiriketiya on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The villa is sensationally positioned within a five-minute stroll from the stunning crescent bay that is Hiriketiya Beach. Often described as a hidden gem or a secret paradise, Hiriketiya Beach offers a horseshoe shaped stretch of soft sand framed by tropical palm trees and provides epic conditions for surfing. The laidback beach is dotted with cute little cafes and healthy eateries but don’t worry – the vibe is still very local and relaxed, rather than overworked and commercialised. If you can tear yourself away from this utopian setting, you can drive along the coast to visit other beautiful beaches – including Mirissa, Weligama and Unawatuna – before finally landing in Galle. This UNESCO-protected 16-century fort is located about 75 minutes from Ginger Palm Villa.
