Location
Hakobune Niseko is located in Soga, just on the outer edge of Niseko Village. This is a peaceful area dotted with birch trees with mighty Mount Annupuri visible at every turn. As this is a more subdued part of Niseko, we do recommend renting a car to move around the area with ease. The Hakobune estate has its own café where you can pop over for a coffee or some light bites. The estate’s Clubhouse boasts an event space; an entertainment room with a golf simulator and karaoke; and a children’s play area. The ski lifts at Niseko Village and Grand Hirafu are both about a five-minute drive away. Both ski resorts also offer great restaurants and apres-ski venues.
Niseko Travel Guide
Niseko has fast emerged as the premiere ski destination in Asia. Known for offering the best powder on the planet, Niseko is made up of four interconnecting ski resorts located at the imposing Mount Annupuri. What was once the stomping ground of powder hounds travelling on a budget has been transformed into an enclave of luxury ski chalets and condos, with vibrant dining and nightlife paired with serene onsen hot springs and endless natural beauty.

We loved our 5 nights at Hakobune Niseko. The host and staff are amazing. The included breakfasts were some of our favorite meals of our entire 2 week trip in Japan. We also enjoyed two Shabu Shabu dinners prepared by the staff and delivered to our apartment. We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments. It was a great launching pad to ski any of the Niseko United mountains.

This was our first time in Niseko, and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The quality of the rooms, the facilities and the service was outstanding and I can not think of a better place to stay in Niseko given how close they were to all the main spots. The staff were also incredible and so, so kind. Perfect for family trips and group retreats. Our evening BBQ as a family was one of the defining memories of our summer.

The best experience ever!
The home is beautifully designed. There were nice touches like snowboard/ski racks in the garage, a drying room for all of your snow gear, two laundry machines and dryers, two dishwashers, heated floors, etc. A large open kitchen and living area for family & friends to gather in.
We would wake up to beautiful views of the mountains. We were so comfortable and felt right at home!
In addition, the service was more than exceptional. Andrew made sure our trip had everything we needed and more! I couldn’t have asked for a better rest & relaxation experience.

Staying at Hakobune Niseko was a wonderful experience for our family. The accommodation is first class, with heaps of space and everything you could possibly need. But what really made our stay memorable was the staff. Andrew, Meg and their small team were absolutely amazing. Friendly, yet professional, there was simply no ask too big for them. They made our kids feel so welcome, and even hosted a pizza night! I injured myself skiing on Day 1, however they made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. We will never forget their kindness and will be sure to come back next year!

Modern mansion for a ski trip with friends
Modern mansion with well equipped kitchen and laundry for 10+ guests comfortably. We stayed as a group of friends; 3 couples and 3 singles, on a ski vacation. The property is ~7 minute drive from the Grand Hirafu Base lift. Parking was available on the property. Besides the extremely well laid out home, this property really shines for it property manager, Andrew. Once booked Andrew was quick to help facilitate arrival plans, ski rentals and gave us advice on local restaurants and grocery stores.
