Hygge Chalet Hakuba brings the cosy feel of Danish hygge to the snow-bound ski town of Hakuba in Japan. The beautifully designed chalet features fine timber interiors and carefully chosen European furniture, from Italian design pieces to a Norwegian Jøtul fireplace. The chalet spans two floors and features three bedrooms sleeping eight guests. From the chalet’s peaceful surroundings, it’s only a quick drive to the ski slopes.

Hygge Chalet Hakuba mixes cosy Scandinavian aesthetics with a cool modern feel, creating the perfect slope side residence for the modern powder hound. The clever design of the bedrooms allows the chalet to sleep up to eight guests with ease.
Living Room
The living room has a fluid, open-plan layout with the lounge area blending in with the dining area. In the living room, a curved black leather sofa faces full-wall windows, with a large flatscreen TV providing entertainment. A wood burning Jøtul fireplace is the undeniable standout piece of the space.
Dining Room
Fluidly adjoining the living room, the dining area centres around a timber dining table surrounded by eight elegant dining chairs. The dining area is framed by an open-plan kitchen equipped with all the essentials needed for preparing hearty après-ski meals.

Hygge Chalet Hakuba has three bedrooms and can sleep up to eight guests. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor and features twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. The two guest bedrooms are located upstairs and both come with twin beds and a sofa bed.

Hygge Chalet Hakuba is a three-bedroom chalet that’s built over two levels. The ground floor houses the living and dining areas, ski room, laundry facilities, guest bathroom and the master bedroom with its ensuite bathroom. The two guest bedrooms are located upstairs.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Property Manager
The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Hygge Chalet Hakuba is located in the sought-after ski town of Hakuba in Japan. The chalet is tucked to a forest bound enclave along with other chalets and lodges. It’s less than a 10 minutes’ drive to the Happo One Snow Resort. Hakuba 47 Ski Resort is about 10 minutes away by car.
