There is an ease and elegance to Ichiseko that’s pretty hard to resist. The chalet spans over 700 square metres and spills over two floors, with most of the rooms lined with full wall windows. This creates a wonderful flow of natural light throughout. Every detail has been seen to with meticulous care, from curating the imported art and furnishings to stocking the kitchen with the finest crockery. Surrounded by sublime Hokkaido scenery, Ichiseko truly is a winter’s dream.

Living Room

The living room is a fabulous space to sit back, relax, and enjoy this incredible chalet to the fullest. Lined with full wall windows, the room is flooded with natural light which helps accentuate the statement artwork and high-end furniture which adorns the room. A cool partition wall with a built-in bookshelf and fireplace separates this space from the games room next door. There’s also a relaxed lounge area on the upper floor plus a study room where you can clear out the inbox in private.

Dining Room

An elegant partition wall (which doubles as a wine glass rack) separates the dining area from the lounge room. The dining area is framed by full wall windows, ensuring an abundance of light during the day and atmospheric views when it starts to get dark. An open plan kitchen frames the dining area, featuring an impressive kitchen island, wine fridge, and all the gadgets and kitchenware you could ask for.

Games Room

Let the good times roll in the chalet’s plush entertainment room. Located right behind the living room, the room comes with a fun ping-pong table, comfy blue sofa, and a large TV that’ll keep everyone entertained on a cold winter’s night.

Ichiseko features five bedrooms, all positioned on the chalet’s upper floor. The rooms have a light and airy décor, providing the perfect backdrop for a restful night’s sleep. Thanks to thoughtful sleeping arrangements, the chalet can comfortably sleep 14 guests: three rooms come with king beds, one room features two sets of bunks, and one room comes with two double beds. All five rooms are ensuites which is quite rare for a chalet this large. If you’re travelling with a larger group or a bringing along a helper, there is a small extra bedroom on the ground floor.

Ichiseko is a five-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses the living and dining room, TV room, entertainment room, ski room, onsen, and laundry room. There’s also an undercover garage for parking your vehicle. The upper floor houses all five bedrooms along with a lounge area and study room.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
