Kamakura Living
Fully immersed in peace and privacy at the Kengo Kuma-designed Elevation Estate, Kamakura invites guests to enjoy Niseko’s beauty to the fullest. The chalet is impressive in its proportions alone: with living areas and five bedrooms spread over three floors, each guest gets to have the personal space they need. Likewise, there is plenty of opportunity to come together and relish each other’s company. The large living areas and impeccable kitchens (no, that plural is not a typo) make Kamakura perfect for marking a special occasion – or simply enjoying life to the fullest with all of your favourite people.
Living Room
Positioned on the chalet’s middle floor, the living room is a large and lavish hub that brings the whole group together. This space was made for socialising and to emphasize this, there is no TV to distract from your companions – don’t worry though, as each bedroom has a huge TV. The living room features beautiful white sofas and elegant armchairs, with a sleek fireplace and gorgeous snow-covered views vying for your attention.
Dining Room
The dining area is also incorporated to the chalet’s luminous living room. The dining table is positioned in the centre of the room, framed by glass doors that lead out to the balcony. The dining area is flanked by an impeccably well-equipped show kitchen complete with a well-sized wine cellar, with a further chef’s kitchen tucked to the back. This chalet truly was made for entertaining in style!
Kamakura Bedrooms
Kamakura features five bedrooms. The bedrooms are decorated with light natural tones, and they offer all the conveniences you’ll need, including a TV in every bedroom. The bedrooms are generously spread over three floors, so you never have to feel like you’re staying on top of each other.

The first bedroom is located on the ground floor. It features two single beds, a TV, and wardrobes. This room shares a jack and jill bathroom with the neighbouring room. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, vanity, and toilet.

Kamakura Layout
Kamakura is a five-bedroom chalet that’s built over three floors. The ground floor houses two bedrooms and a lounge room. A two-car garage and a spacious foyer and cloak room add convenience to your stay. The middle floor houses the living and dining areas, a show kitchen and a chef’s kitchen, and one bedroom. This floor benefits from two balconies. The top floor houses the two remaining bedrooms, a spacious foyer, and two balconies.

Property Manager
The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Kamakura is located at the prestigious Elevation Estate in Niseko, Japan. Masterminded by Kengo Kuma, Japan’s preeminent architect, this gated community is home to some of the most luxurious chalet’s in Niseko. The chalet offers a peaceful and scenic setting away from the crowds, yet it’s within easy reach of everything Hirafu Village has to offer. The centre of the village is about a 10-minute walk away, or less than five minutes driving. The Hirafu Gondola and the ACE Family Quad Lift are also within a five-minute drive.
