Kazane Overview

Kazane is a hard chalet to resist. This incredibly spacious chalet offers the best of both worlds with its location alone: close to all the action in Hirafu Village yet away from the noise with nothing to obstruct the views. Spanning three floors, the chalet has been designed with meticulous care: the materials are all top of the line and a lot of the furniture and fixtures have been custom made.

There are many showstopping elements to this chalet. The cedar wood bath is perfect for soaking up those sore skier’s muscles, while the tatami room casts a spell with its serene ambiance. However, it’s the top floor living areas that really add the wow factor with floor to ceiling windows offering awe-inspiring views of Mount Yotei. Kazane features six bedrooms and offers easy access to everything Niseko has to offer, whether you’re looking to hit the slopes, sample all the best restaurants, or simply park yourself by the fireside and take in the mountainside magic.

Kazane Living

Kazane was meticulously designed to offer the ultimate Niseko experience. Even the name is sheer poetry: Kazane means “sound of the wind” and indeed, you will find a small creek gurgling in the chalet’s vicinity. On all levels, nature has been a huge inspiration, from the chosen materials (cedar and stone) to those stunning Mount Yotei views. There’s also an incredible attention to detail throughout with many pieces having been custom made – take note of the stunning dining table and the intricate details in the tatami room.

Living Room

Kazane’s living room is easily one of the most scenic spaces in Niseko. Positioned on the top floor, the room is fronted by full wall glass and offers sweeping views of Mount Yotei. Allowing the views to take centre stage, the room is decorated with streamlined furniture rendered in light neutral tones. Fittings include a sleek white sofa and two chic armchairs which are angled towards a cosy woodburning fireplace that oozes mountainside ambiance. The living room extends to a generous balcony which gazes out to Mount Yotei.

Dining Room

The dining area is positioned in a scenic corner of the luminous living room and offers those same mesmerising views of Mount Yotei. Come nightfall, a delicate arrangement of pendant lights illuminates a light timber dining table – a custom piece by local artist RAM. A white kitchen island separates the dining area from an open- plan kitchen by Leicht of Germany that’s fitted with all the gadgets and kitchenware you might need, including a steam cooker, fish grill, and wine cellar.

Media Room

Tucked behind the living room, Kazane’s media room offers the perfect cosy setting for hosting movie nights after a day of skiing. The room features ample seating and a well-sized TV for bingeing on your favourite movies and TV shows. The room is adjoined by a small terrace.
