KITANISHI 2

Kitanishi 2 is one of the konkuriito chalets dotted throughout Niseko. These concrete marvels are bold and beautiful, taking nods from brutalist architecture. The chalet is a design marvel inside and out – it’s incredible how comfortable the property feels throughout. There is a great ease and flow as you move between the two floors, and we love the full wall windows. During pow season, the living areas are framed by several metres of Niseko’s famous snow, while the upstairs bedrooms catch glimpses of Mount Yotei.

Living Room

The living room takes up most of the lower floor of the chalet, creating a lovely communal space where the whole group can come together for mealtimes and movie nights. Framed by full wall windows, the lounge area features grey and olive-green sofas, with a large TV and a sleek fireplace vying for your attention.

Dining Room

If you still find yourself lounging on the sofas come dinnertime, it doesn’t take long to reach the dining table. The light timber dining table can easily seat six, with more seats available at the sleek white breakfast bar. That bar separates the dining area from the kitchen which offers every pot, pan, and appliance you could ask for – including a Nespresso machine!

Kitanishi 2 features three bedrooms. With their off-form concrete walls and huge windows looking out to the snow, the rooms echo the contemporary design of the chalet. Two of the rooms feature king beds which can also be split into two singles if you prefer. One room comes with two sets of bunks and can sleep up to four guests. All three rooms are located upstairs.

Kitanishi 2 is a three-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses the living and dining areas, ski room, laundry room, and a powder room. The upper floor houses the three bedrooms.

Kitanishi 2 is a semi-detached townhouse which can be booked together with its sister property Kitanishi 3. When the two units are booked separately, they are completely private and self-contained.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Kitanishi 2 is located in Hirafu Village in Niseko, Japan. The chalet is positioned in a relaxed, residential street where you’ll be neighboured by other chalets and pensions. From this lovely private setting, you can reach the main street in a five-minute stroll and enjoy access to the area’s best restaurants and handy convenience stores. The Ace Family Lift is about 500 metres away and the Hirafu Gondola is just a bit further up the mountain. If you don’t feel like walking in your ski boots, you can hop on the free shuttle bus – the nearest bus stop is less than 100 metres away.
