Kumirin Overview
Kumirin offers a chic take on winter wonderland. This smart modern chalet is positioned in Niseko’s St. Moritz, surrounded by beautiful silver birch trees and neighboured by other equally elegant abodes. The chalet looks incredibly inviting from the outside, its full wall windows offering glimpses of the cosy setup waiting indoors. The upper floor features open plan living areas that include a genius kitchen setup: a huge white island that extends to a dining table, meaning there’s always room for a dinner party. The cosy fireplace and those beautiful snow-covered views make the space all the more winning. The bedding arrangements are another stroke of design genius. Of the three bedrooms, one has a king-sized bed (or two singles if you prefer), one has bunk beds, and the third has Japanese style futons. This versatility ensures that everyone will find a bedroom that’s just right.

Kumirin Living
Kumirin has everything you need in a powder pad… and more. The chalet’s split-level design is genius – it technically spans four levels – as it makes the property feel so spacious, and you never have to feel like you’re staying on top of each other. The use of full wall glass only adds to that sense of space – plus the snow-covered views are just dreamy. From top to bottom, this chalet has been designed for comfort and ease… and can we just say, mission accomplished!
Living Room
The living room sits on the chalet’s upper floor, offering picturesque views of the snow-covered forest through floor to ceiling windows. You can enjoy the views and the warm glow of the fireplace while relaxing on the grey sofa or opt for the lounge chairs instead. You can also catch up on the latest movies thanks to the well-sized smart TV that’s mounted on the wall.
Dining Room
The dining area has a great layout. The sleek white island which offers oodles of counter space when preparing meals extends to the chalet’s dining table. This means you have a huge stretch of space both for cooking and enjoying meals. The table can easily seat a group of 12. The kitchen offers all the necessities and then some – the Nespresso machine is a welcome addition for anyone heading out to the slopes bright and early.
Kumirin Bedrooms
Kumirin features three bedrooms. The bedrooms are very versatile: one of them features a king bed (or two singles if you prefer) and one has two sets of bunks. These two rooms are located downstairs. The third room, which is housed upstairs, is a traditional tatami style room where two guests can sleep on futon mattresses.

Sara –
Fantastic chalet for those with kids as there is a bunk room next door to the master bedroom. Also works for groups of friends who don’t mind sleeping in bunks. Lovely views looking out to the forest with a comfortable living room with high ceilings. Great location just outside the heart of Hirafu. You could walk if fit however we hired a car to get around town easily.
