Located in Furano’s Kitanomine neighbourhood, this three-bedroom chalet is located within a short walk from the ski lifts with cute little restaurants dotted throughout the neighbourhood. And if the address is enviable then so are the views – how would you like sipping your morning coffee with views gazing out to Mount Tokachi and the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range? While the location and views alone would make this chalet a winner, we’re also smitten with its design. Mokuren Furano Living
Mokuren Furano takes the idea of a classic ski lodge and elevates it with a fresh modern polish. This two-storey chalet uses a warm colour palette (think mossy greens and earthy browns) that’s beautifully contrasted by the frosty views outside. Those views are another high light – that mighty mountain range etched against the sky just never seems to get old. With all bedrooms housed on the ground floor and the living areas tucked upstairs, this chalet has a way of bringing everyone together throughout the day.
Living Room
Located on the upper floor, the living areas benefit from abundant natural light and beautiful views of the surrounding trees and mountain scape. Thanks to forest green velvet sofas, exposed beams, and a cocoa brown statement wall, the lounge area has an irresistibly cosy feel to it. A flatscreen TV provides entertainment on the nights when you prefer to stay in.
Dining Room
The dining area is positioned right by the window on the chalet’s upper floor. This means you get to enjoy serene views of the mountains while you dine. This scenic dining area is framed by a well-appointed open plan kitchen complete with a coffee machine, rice cooker, and all the rest of the essentials.
Mokuren Furano Bedrooms
Mokuren Furano features three bedrooms. The bedrooms are rendered in calm colours and feature streamlined modern furnishings. All three rooms are located on the chalet’s ground floor, allowing everyone to stay close together. One room features a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. The two other rooms come with two single beds each and share a bathroom between them.

The first bedroom is located on the ground floor. It features a king-sized bed, closets, writing desk, and large windows. The ensuite bathroom features a shower, vanity, and toilet.

Mokuren Furano Layout
Mokuren Furano is a three-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses three bedrooms and a ski/dry room. The upper floor houses the living and dining areas, a powder room, and a generous balcony.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Property Manager
The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
Location
Mokuren Furano is located in Furano in Hokkaido, the northernmost island in Japan. Furano is famed for its amazing powder snow, attracting skiers, snowboarders, and winter lovers from far and wide. Mokuren Furano is positioned in Kitanomine, the livelier of the area’s two “zones” (the other being Furano, which is about a 10-minute drive away). Mokuren Furano offers easy access to the Kitanomine ski lifts (about 500 metres from the chalet) and the small restaurants tucked in the neighbourhood. All in all, it’s a great location to be in.
