This villa is an ode to easy breezy seaside living. The villa makes the most of its elevated position above the shoreline, combining picture perfect sea views with easy beach access. Fittingly, the villa’s vast and ample rooms are decorated with hues mimicking the vibrant hues of the tropics: think azure sofas, sand-and-seafoam textiles, and aqua blue window frames.

Living Room

Monara boasts multiple lounges which make it very easy and fun to spend time together as a group. The main living room features a huge arrangement of sofas and armchairs; their blue and green hues perfectly echoed in the tropical views visible through the full wall windows. There is a smaller, more intimate lounge upstairs, complete with modern rattan sofas and those same sensational sea views. There is another fabulous lounge out on the balcony, not to mention the cosy setup in the poolside cabana. In short: you’ll always find a lounge area to suit your mood.

Dining Room

The dining room has a nice sense of occasion to it. Like most rooms in the villa, this light and luminous space is framed by large windows looking out to the ocean. The long timber dining table invites everyone to gather up for relaxed meals where no one is in a hurry, with dishes created by the villa’s chef.

Spa

Allow all your stress and tension to melt away in the villa’s spa room. This soothing space is fitted with a massage bed, allowing you to relax in full without even leaving the villa.

Garden & Pool

Monara is completely engulfed in lush tropical greenery, creating the feel of a hidden oasis. That impression is further played up by the villa’s enviably large swimming pool. When you’re not busy clocking laps, you can relax on one of the surrounding sun loungers or retreat to the nearby cabana for an indulgent break in the shade. The villa is graced by ample terraces, generous lawns, and gorgeous palm fringed views of the Indian Ocean.

Monara features seven bedrooms. In keeping with the villa’s coastal locale, the bedrooms have a beautiful beachy feel to them. The colour scheme mixes beige, white, and aqua hues which immediately call to mind sand, clouds, and the ocean. There are six rooms with king-sized beds, and one room features twin beds. One king-bedded room connects to the twin room through a shared bathroom, creating a great setup for families.

Monara is a seven-bedroom villa that’s built over two floors. The villa features enclosed living and dining areas. Of the seven bedrooms, two interconnect through a shared bathroom. The other five rooms are ensuites. The villa has a large swimming pool, generous gardens, and an open sided poolside lounge.

Your stay in Monara is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Monara’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Sri Lankan hospitality.

Villa Manager

Monara’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
