This beautiful white villa is amazingly positioned along Sri Lanka’s coastline, offering direct access and sublime views of a wide sandy beach and the ocean stretching beyond. A stay here feels like a balm on the soul and the senses, with the sounds of the ocean waking you into each new day. The villa’s interiors blend beautifully with its sensational location, offering an inspiring mix of antiques, modern pieces and vibrant textiles. All four bedrooms are located upstairs, and they are each framed by an ocean view balcony – there really is no better place on earth to sip your morning coffee.

Myla Beach Villa puts a beautiful Sri Lankan twist on beach house glam. It’s hard to imagine a more appealing setting, with the villa’s private pool and neatly manicured lawns seamlessly blending with the soft sandy beach waiting on your doorstep. Inside its white walls, the villa effortlessly mixes fresh modern interiors with natural materials, vibrant prints and gorgeous antiques. That the owner is a celebrated interior designer is evident in every room and detail, from the tiled floors to the vintage posters which adorn the walls.

Living Room

The living room is a long and luminous space that takes up most of the villa’s ground floor. The space is fronted by glass doors giving out to the poolside terrace, flooding the room with natural light and lovely views of the pool and the ocean stretching out beyond. At the centre of the room is an elegant seating area with two white sofas arranged around coffee tables and lit up by a beautiful arrangement of pendant lights.

Dining Room

The dining area is incorporated to the living room and offers the same blissful views of the pool and beach through glass doors. The dark wood dining table can easily seat a group of 10, though if you prefer, you can also dine outside in the poolside pergola. The villa’s kitchen is discretely tucked away from the dining area, allowing guests to dine in private while the staff prepares the next course in the kitchen.

Garden

Neat green lawns, dreamy palm trees, a glistening blue pool and direct beach access – this beachfront beauty has it all. The villa’s private pool runs nearly the full width of the villa, offering ample opportunity for lazy laps while admiring the ocean views. The pool is surrounded by a sleek deck dotted with sun beds, also poised for taking in the views. The pool area is bookended by a covered dining pavilion which offers an idyllic setting for dining alfresco while the ocean breeze plays in your hair. Manicured lawns dotted with palm trees give way to a sandy beach that seems to go on forever, with the salty waves of the Indian Ocean lapping in at your feet.

Media Room

When you need to rewind between swims and excursions, you can hide out in the villa’s cosy library room. Housed on the ground floor, this room has well stocked bookshelves, comfy seats and a flatscreen TV. As the cherry on top, this room also benefits from the villa’s signature ocean views. If you need to catch up on some work or clear out your inbox, there is also a study room located on the upper floor.

Games Room

The billiard room is located on the ground floor, with glass doors leading out to the dining pergola waiting right outside. It’s the perfect excuse for a pre-dinner game of pool!

Myla Beach Villa features four bedrooms. The bedrooms are all located on the upper floor and they each connect to an ocean view balcony. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, mixing a fresh modern palette with antique pieces and teakwood furniture. Each room features a four-poster bed and an adjoining bathroom.

Myla Beach Villa is a four-bedroom villa that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses the living and dining room, media room and games room. The upper floor houses all four bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, a study room and a scenic rooftop terrace. The villa has a large private swimming pool and offers direct beach access.

Villa Manager

Myla Beach Villa’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
