More than a villa, No 77 Leyn Baan feels like a work of art. As is only fitting for a grand historic building, No 77 Leyn Baan offers two distinct living areas for guests to relax and entertain in. There is a more formal living room with vibrant green walls and stunning works of art, where seating is available on a chic white sofa, matching armchairs and two vintage wicker back chairs. There is also a more relax living area rendered in light tones, with ample sofas and armchairs offering lavish space for the whole group. The white walls are beautifully juxtaposed by exposed stretches of the building’s original walls.
Dining Room
Surrounded by historic grandeur and age-old heritage, the dining room feels strikingly modern. This luminous space features a round marble top dining table surrounded by eight designer chairs, with modern works of art framing this elegant space. The dining area extends to a modern open-plan kitchen.

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
No 77 Leyn Baan is located in Galle on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The villa has a prime positioned inside the UNESCO protected Galle Fort. The fort dates back to the 16th century and is considered one of the crown jewels of Sri Lanka’s coastline. The villa is located on a charming street (named Leyn Baan, obviously), neighboured by other heritage buildings, small shops and boutiques. The beautiful Galle Lighthouse is literally right around the corner. When you want to dig your toes in the sand, the famous Unawatuna Beach is just a 20-minute drive away.

The house is really great. Located in a colonial UNESCO building and it is truly beautiful. The house is full of beautiful art and has a spacious kitchen/living room with a large tree. There is also a beautiful swimming pool on the roof with a view of the lighthouse and the beach. The (bath)rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of room. Duminda (the housekeeper) is super friendly and helpful, as is the host.
Ps. buy an extra fish for the indoor pond. So that the fish is not alone.
