Pure Shores Villa Living
It is all about living the luxe life at Pure Shores Villa, coupled with an enrapturing amount of serenity and tranquility. The property sits on a large plot of land that has ample space for children to run around and for groups to discover new areas to relax each day. It has a main houses which has the living, dining room and five bedrooms, a pool bale for when you want reprieve from the sun, a separate Sanctuary abode across the lawn closer to the cliff, as well as an outdoor dining and professional kitchen area poolside.
Living Room
The living room is on the ground floor of the main houses and has a plush L-shaped couch. It has views of the ocean and surrounding islets, as well as the villas garden and pool. Families travelling with children will find this ideal, and adults will be able to watch over their kids as they run around playing.
Dining Room
The dining room sits adjacent to the living room as well as the impressive bar. It boasts a long solid wood table that easily sits a group of ten. Also offering a magnificent vista of the ocean, pool, and gardens, guests can relish in a home-cooked meal while taking in the endless natural coral formations visible from the clifftop.
If you’re looking at a more alfresco dining option, then the staff will set up your meals at the pool bale or the outdoor dining area near the open-plan kitchen. These areas are right in front of the water, and with just a few intricate touches from the staff in setting up the music and lighting, the ambience is perfect for an intimate dinner.
Media Room
The media room is an intimate space where you can gather family and friends to watch the latest movies and entertain yourselves indoors with modern technology, or just get together for an evening tête-à-tête.

Pure Shores Villa Location
Pure Shores Villa is an amazing villa that is located on idyllic Bohol in the beautiful Philippines. It is perfect for those looking for a complete escape from the world for their holiday.
There are direct flights from Manila, Clarke, Davao and El Nido regional airports to Bohol Panglao International Airport (TAG) as well as International Flights from Seoul. Alternatively, you can also take a boat from Cebu’s main jetty, and it takes one or two hours to get to Bohol (Tagbilaran jetty). Upon arrival, relish in the impossibly scenic drive along the heavenly coastal roads to reach the property (approx. 1.5hrs).
If you’re looking to visit tourist hotspots such as the Tarsier Sanctuary (smallest living primate and heavily endangered animal unique to the area) or stunning out-of-this-world shaped Chocolate Hills, hop into a car and you will be there within 1.5 hours. The popular Panglao resort area located at the bottom of the island is 2-hours by car, but if you want to escape the usual tourist spots and visit the secret onshore and offshore local hotspots then the Anda Peninsular is the place to stay to forget about stress and just relish in the view.

I went there through Instagram header Nomad Nugget (nomad_nugget_). First of all, it was a very comfortable trip thanks to real-time care from start to finish. I have visited Bohol many times, but I had no idea a place like this existed. Nomad Nugget Heather and local manager May were so kind. The chef who provided a delicious meal, and the employees who were very friendly. I miss you already!!
It was healing in nature itself.
It was so much fun just staying in the pool villa, but I also went to the local market and market with the manager, and even went to a diving spot where the marine nature was truly unpolluted! Everything was possible with one stop.
Goodbye to Panglao….!
I especially recommend it to those who like freediving and snorkeling. Just go down from the accommodation and you’re right at the sea. It’s infinite snorkeling diving! I would like to visit again next year. This villa is highly recommended for small or group travel!

It was my first visit to Bohol with friends. I had an unforgettable experience. The open space and rooms visible from the moment you open the door to the mansion are so pretty, and from the moment we arrived, everyone changed into their swimsuits and jumped into the pool!
The staff were there all the time, so I could eat and drink when I wanted, and enjoyed a convenient schedule. I, who is interested in cooking, was able to enjoy it even more by buying ingredients at the local market and taking a cooking class^^
It was a satisfactory accommodation that I would definitely bring my friends to rest again :)

It’s not a lot, but I think it’s by far the best pool villa I’ve been to in Southeast Asia. The staff is friendly and attentive to hearing. You can also snorkel in the swimming pool!! The adults loved the rooms and the attached restaurant, but most of all the sea views. We were treated to beautiful sunsets, a rainbow, shooting stars and even a moonset one evening. If you are feeling lazy you can just relax and soak up the relaxing atmosphere at the villa or if you want to explore Bohol and its myriad of attractions there is a driver and van at the Villa. Reigan was super safe and knew his way around the Chocolate Hills and nearby waterfalls well. This was the best holiday we have had with the kids and we are already planning and saving for our next trip to Pure Shores. Thanks Dean and Marcelle for making our stay so memorable.

Location Location Location, by far the best sunsets we have seen in our life. it was pure magic spending every evening in the pool watching the sun set with a refreshing drink in the hand. The villa is a masterpiece of luxury, and the staff there was super attentive and catered for all of our needs. when we wanted privacy, the staff somehow was nowhere to be seen but when needed the popped up of the thin air pure magic. spend a full week there with 3 families with children aged from 7 to 16 and all had the best time of their life.

The whole experience was very luxurious and amazing. We stayed there for 5 days. Everything was magical, the villa, the pool, and especially the view. The view was breathtaking. It was really a must have vacation in this place.

Fantastic Luxury Villa
An amazing high end villa situated on the beautiful island of Bohol. 5 star accommodation and service. The owners have clearly put a lot of care and attention into designing this tropical paradise getaway. Throughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful location.
The villa staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent service and great food menu. Really enjoyed soaking up the sun and the stunning view from the cliff edge infinity pool overlooking the sea. Enjoyed a day trip to the famous Chocolate Hills and ATV driving. Make sure to get up early and enjoy snorkeling in the calm clear blue sea.

Tropical paradise
The best way to describe this villa is its like a balinese resort villa without the crowds and hype. Truly a gem of a find when you get there. The service was excellent with the resort manager May taking care of every of your request. We managed to book our island tour including transport through her. She even recommended the itinerary of what to see on which date to best accomodate your time spent on travelling. The villa also has direct access to the sea where you can snorkel freely( there are not many other people in this part of the bay), hence you don’t have to worry about a boat hitting you.

Excellent Service, Incredible Experience
Pure Shores Villa is a 5-bedroom dream villa situated on the sea-side cliffs of Guindulman, Bohol. Inspired by their lovely wedding reception in Bali, our hosts, Dean and Marcelle, built this from the ground up.
The seaside location offers spectacular sunset views from our rooms and the infinity pool. It’s also located literally beside a marine sanctuary, giving exclusive access to snorkeling and free diving activities among the rich and diverse marine life (including giant clams!).
Saying that the rooms are huge would be an understatement. They include seating areas, a workspace, a walk in closet, and a bathroom you can do calisthenics in ♂️. Pieces in all of the rooms in this luxurious villa have been handpicked and designed with a level of thoughtfulness of pampering guests as well as making them feel at home. This includes small details such as fresh water carafes in your room, toys and games for kids, a well-stocked library, and even bug spray in case you forgot to bring yours!
Resonating Filipino hospitality, the staff knows you by name and are ever so helpful and friendly. They’ll readily offer a towel or a glass of water, when you need it, even before you’ve asked for it. The entire villa was always neat and tidy in all hours of the day, you’d never guess there was a total of 8 kids in our weekend stay!
I have to give a special shoutout to Paul, our lifeguard, who went above and beyond by retrieving my drone precariously stuck on the cliff! He had to tow a long(!) aluminum ladder (swimming without any floaters nor flippers!) and prop it between the seabed and cliffside. Kitchen staff also helped me in creating a makeshift floating catching device using a rescue floater and towels, in case the drone fell towards the water. Rest assured, my drone was safe and never have I had a more exciting rescue mission before my morning coffee .
The kitchen prepares a variety of food fare, and I highly recommend the sisig (careful, it’s really spicy), Arrabiata, and their fresh Italian coffee. Bread is made fresh daily!

“Paradise in Bohol”
If you are considering a vacation at Pure Shores villa I can assure you you will not be disappointed. From the very beginning communication with the owner, Dean, was thorough with quick replies. Our vacation was last minute due to a previous cancellation and Dean went above and beyond to reassure us and accommodate our large group of 8 adult and 8 kids (including 2 babies).
The villa is exquisite to say the least. You will make it feel like home very quickly and will not want to leave. Pictures on the website do not do the villa justice, it is the most perfect haven to escape to and relax in. What isn’t pictured is the amazing team of staff at Pure Shores, they have made our vacation here perfection. May, the manager has gone above and beyond to accommodate our requests, organized a videoke, sourcing a turkey at Christmas, Lechon for New Years dinner, trips and tours, diving, rides on local transport, she is awesome! The chef, Mel, provides the most delicious food both western and Filipino and he is always happy to recommend local dishes! Between the serving staff, pool staff, house keeping and security guards they have become part of our family, laughed with us, talked to us about local life, played with our children and are the nicest people you will meet.
There is access to the sanctuary via private steps which provides the perfect snorkeling opportunity if you get bored with the infinity pool! Make sure Paul shows you the beautiful large clams when you go.
Truly a gem in Bohol for the ultimate RnR, even better if you come with friends. We will be back again

I recently stayed for 9 memorable days at Pure Shores with 6 family members – it is a holiday I will simply never forget! It was relaxing, extremely comfortable, luxurious, peaceful, classy, chilled.. And I know I will be back for more in the future.
I researched the villa prior to booking and the owners, Dean and Marcelle, were very helpful throughout the process. The villa is like no other I’ve witnessed before. The quality is clear to see throughout and makes for an extremely comfortable stay. The location and scenery is breathtaking- my idea of paradise. We were more than happy with the assistance we received from the Pure Shores staff. In true Filipino style, they were so helpful, thoughtful and considerate but most impressively, they were pro active and driven to cater for our needs.
Our age range varied greatly and naturally, so did our interests. I was keen to experience what the local area had to offer in terms of activities and the staff arranged all our requests once we spoken about what was available- snorkelling, scuba diving, Cabagnow (stunning!) and chap (activity centre incl zip line, tree top walk, bike zip). Other family members wanted to visit the local white sands, private beaches, waterfalls (the most impressive was Canomantad), Lumayag Sandbar, Candijay rice terraces, historic caves such as the ones on Lamanok island and Agipo viewpoint. Pure Shores were able to book all tours as well as providing very cheap transport each day. The staff are local and could easily accommodate all of our requests with the many connections they have. Many of these stunning places were only found because of the local knowledge the staff have- you won’t find many of them in lonely planet, rough guides etc.
During our stay, we could also order in treatments at a fraction of the cost compared to back home- these included hour long full body massages outdoors in the cabana, as well as manicures and pedicures.
The food and drink provided was exceptional and there is a clear emphasis on buying local, fresh produce while again catering for our needs. Throughout our stay we had a fantastic choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The typical western tastes are catered for along with Asian/ local cuisine. A great amount of time and effort is put into preparing all meals and drinks- the highlight for me was the fresh trevally which was caught that morning by a local fisherman in addition to a local pork dish (humba) which again was outstanding in terms of taste, flavour and value for money. The portions were also very generous if you wanted more.
I felt compelled to review pure shores given the extraordinary time we spent there. By the end, I was sad to leave this luxurious getaway which is made so much more enjoyable by the natural beauty of the area and the hospitality you receive there from both staff and locals. If you do choose Pure Shores, you are guaranteed to have one memorable holiday.

The BEST villa in Bohol bar none!
What a property! Pure Shores really impresses as soon as you enter the gates. Perched high on a clifftop overlooking the simply stunning bay, the size and grandeur nature of the villa makes you feel like a celebrity. Our friends got engaged on this trip, and the warm owner Dean went out of his way to extend our stay and ensure that they had an amazing story to tell their future children where they popped the question!
The pool is epic inviting you in for a quick dip at all times, even being lit up with different coloured lights adding a romantic mood in the evenings. The Sanctuary room where we stayed is its own exclusive area past the pool down some stairs, giving you that added private space if you are traveling with a group or large family. The restaurant and dining area is like a professional Michelin-star spot, with different dishes being whipped up by the smiling chefs whenever you like.
Our staff were very accommodating, and helped us get from A to B, as Bohol island is actually quite large so you need to be organized if you want to go exploring! The place really a hidden treasure, your own palace in an area where there are not many tourists, despite being so close to popular Cebu. We grabbed some motorbikes and checked out the nearby beaches and Chocolate Hills lookout, with the amazing locals everywhere waving and saying hello as we went past. Overall, a picture-perfect holiday, leaving fantastic memories for all of us. 5 Stars!
