Ro-An is an impressively spacious chalet – but that’s only part of its appeal. There are so many thoughtful design elements here that make the property feel all the more inviting. Besides the generous open plan living areas on the upper floor, there’s a cosy media room downstairs. The garage can fit two cars and the heated driveway has space for two more – a rarity in Niseko. Yet another thoughtful feature: in addition to the four bathrooms, the chalet has three powder rooms. Oh, and the kitchen comes with a wine cellar.

Living Room

The upper floor living room is an amazing space to relax, recharge and relish each other’s company. The room is framed by extensive windows looking out to Mount Yotei and crowned with a beautifully textured slanted ceiling. The generous seating area by the window is a great place to mingle, whether you prefer to admire the views or stream the latest movies on the TV mounted on the wall. Whichever you prefer, you can enjoy the warm glow of the fireplace that’s incorporated to the statement stone wall.

Dining Room

The living area has an open floor plan, so conversation can flow unobstructed between the lounge area and the dining table that’s located nearby. Just like those inviting sofas, the dining table is positioned by the generous windows so guests can admire views of mighty Mount Yotei while dining. The light timber dining table is surrounded by elegant grey chairs. The kitchen sits at the back of this generous open plan space. It is dominated by a sleek island counter lined with bar stools and offers all the gadgets and kitchenware you could ask for, including a Miele oven and microwave, an IH cooktop and a wine cellar. When weather permits, you can also dine out on the expansive terrace that fronts the chalet.

Media Room

The downstairs media room is a great spot for cosying up with a good movie on a cold winter’s night. The room features a generous grey sofa and a huge flatscreen TV. Located just down the hall from the bunk bedroom, this room will undoubtably be a big hit with the kids.

Ro-An features five bedrooms. The bedrooms are light, airy and highly functional, offering a range of sleeping arrangements to accommodate different groups. There are two well-sized bedrooms housed upstairs, both furnished with a king-sized bed and adjoined by an ensuite bathroom. The three remaining bedrooms are downstairs: a bunk room that can sleep four guests and two king-bedded rooms that can also be converted into twins if needed.

Ro-An is a five-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses three bedrooms, a media room, a ski room, two powder rooms and a standalone bathroom with a Japanese bath. The same floor also houses the chalet’s garage which is big enough to fit two vehicles. The upper floor houses the living and dining areas, two bedrooms and a third powder room.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
