Rose Apple Residence marries effortless modern minimalism with lush Cambodian beauty. The villa’s white façade and streamlined angles are beautifully juxtaposed by the relaxed charm of the surrounding gardens. Inside the villa, sleek modern architecture and subtle retro furniture are accentuated by beautiful local statues and artwork. With generous windows and high ceilings, this elegant villa offers a breezy airflow throughout the day.
Living Room
The living areas are housed on the upper floor of this two-storey villa. This is a calm and inviting space with a double height ceiling. The indoor areas extend to a balcony where emerald green chairs are perfectly positioned for enjoying the tropical greenery that surrounds. Inside, the room features a generous arrangement of sofas and armchairs, with a flatscreen TV providing entertainment. To the back of the room is another seating area. This one features retro lounge chairs and stocked bookshelves, with beautifully carved statues adding some local flavour. From the living room, a floating staircase leads up to a separate office room. Removed from the main living areas, this quiet space is perfect for catching up on emails or hopping on a conference call when needed.
Dining Room
The elegant dining room also occupies the villa’s upper floor. Featuring minimalist modern furniture, white walls and polished floors, the space looks out to the pool and garden through generous windows which also provide natural ventilation. The timber dining table is surrounded by sculpted chairs and lit up by four contemporary light fixtures. Close by, you will find the villa’s pantry (complete with an espresso coffee machine), followed by a fully equipped kitchen.

The angular white villa is framed by a lush green garden. A sloping stretch of lawn leads down to the pool which at 15 metres long offers ample space for swimming laps or simply floating beneath the tropical sun. The pool is framed by a sun deck dotted with white lounge chairs and a relaxed table arrangement. The villa is surrounded by high walls, ensuring a relaxing sense of privacy just moments from the sight and sounds of central Siem Reap.
Rose Apple Residence Bedrooms
Rose Apple Residence features five bedrooms. Cool concrete floors and glass doors opening to the garden ensure each room is kept cool and comfortable throughout the year. All five bedrooms are housed on the ground floor along the same hallway. The rooms are decorated in calm hues of white, timber and concrete, with bespoke textiles adding subtle pops of colour. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. The other four rooms come with queen beds and share two bathrooms between them.

Rose Apple Residence is a five-bedroom villa that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses all five bedrooms. The living and dining areas and kitchen are housed upstairs, with a mezzanine office room located above them. The villa is surrounded by large gardens and features a 15 x 5 metre swimming pool.

Of course, Siem Reap is most well known as the home of Angkor Wat, the stunning temple complex that dates back nearly 900 years. Surrounded by lush jungle, the temples were rediscovered in the late 1800s and have since been lauded as one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Angkor Wat from Rose Apple Residence – make sure you make it in time to witness a stunning sunrise over those ancient temples.

We loved our time at The Rose Apple villa organised by the team at Rose Apple Residences. The house is great – bigger than it appears online with lots of flexible space, extremely quiet bedrooms, a great pool, and a convenient location – very close to town especially considering how big the property is. It’s a great place for a couple of families looking to have a holiday together. The management team at Rose Apple Residences and the on-site staff were helpful, friendly, flexible and accommodating. A modern designed villa with great spaces connecting with the lush greenery of the tropical garden.The villa focuses on it’s implantation in the slope of the terrain and it’s relationship to the garden. With it’s huge windows and doors seamlessly connecting the large indoor rooms with the sumptuous green garden, conveniently providing natural airflow.This in combination with the green rooftops guarantees a natural cool environment. There are plenty of ceiling ventilators to enhance this feeling. The selection of light wood, concrete flooring and small metal frames stimulates the same feeling. While at the same time all spaces can be closed and airconditioned. The many large windows provide an abundance of natural light when they’re closed. Designed by a renowned French architect office in Cambodia. DINING ROOM & LOUNGE: Conveniently sitting at the backside of the villa is the dining room linked by a large party of stairs to the slightly lowered terrace.
Enjoying plenty views to the pool and surrounding garden. It connects as well to the staircase leading to the bedrooms and provides an access to the bar and coffee pantry linking the fully equipped kitchen. Large sliding windows on both sides offer a natural breeze and plenty of daylight comes through the large window with a view of the pool on the groudfloor, the sundeck and the incline of the slope wright next to it. LIVING ROOM: Siting majestically on the first floor it is the first space to welcome visitors of the villa. It’s high ceiling with elegant elevations provides indirect sunlight to highlight the size of the room. It is joined by a balcony running along the whole length of the living room. Providing shade for direct sunlight and offering vistas of the lush garden at the bottom of a slope. The balcony is separated by a large party of sliding windows that all open up. Looking over to the West it provides cozy seats to enjoy the beautiful sunset. GARDEN & POOL: The villa is submerged in greenery with plenty of diversity.
The large garden surrounds the villa and acts like a seemless extension of the indoor spaces. A slope in the garden provides a close connection between the garden and every floor of the villa. It assures as well privacy for those wishing to enjoy relaxing pool time. The property’s pool sits at the back of the villa. It is attended to every weekday for cleaning and to measure the quality of it’s water. BEDROOMS: Rose Apple Residences hosts five bedrooms each equipped with a double bed. These are all located on the ground floor with floor to ceiling glass doors opening up to the garden at the North side of the villa. Thus providing fresh rooms throughout the year. The concrete floors and light wood enhance also here the comfortable temperatures of the rooms. There’s a masterbedroom with ensuite bathroom and walking closet. The other four guestrooms have each two rooms sharing a bathroom, with a separate toilet room, in front of them. The spacious five bedroom villa shares the entrance and parking space with it’s twin villa. Both properties are further completely separated by careful and elegant greenery to guarantee privacy for visitors on either side. At daytime housekeeping is present to maintain the villa and attend the rooms.
A concierge visits regularly and operation team is 24hr present on mobile to facilite a smooth stay for every visitor. There’s a 24hr guard living in onsite and operating the gate while providing emergency contact in case necessary. Inspired by travelers we have been hosting guests for over 15 years. Having had my own hotel, together with my husband – married over 15 years – from Belgium, we have build plenty of experience to assist any guest to Siem Reap. We master communication in several languages and know the ever-changing city of Siem Reap and the activities and sights in the surrounding very well. I’m friendly outgoing and care to hear every visitor is at ease. I’m very available and ready to assist anywhere necessary. I oversea the rooms and common areas prior to your arrival. I’ll be the one personally welcoming you on arrival whether at the airport or at the villa.
