A true chalet for the modern age, Ryoun wows with its exterior and décor alike. On the outside, this three-storey chalet resembles a contemporary sculpture boasting modern angles and cleverly placed stretches of floor to ceiling glass. Once inside, you will discover two cushy living rooms– a spacious setup on the top floor and a more intimate nook tucked downstairs. The chalet offers all the essentials needed for a powder stay in Niseko, including a ski room right by the entrance, bathtubs for soaking those sore muscles and four bedrooms for getting some shuteye before heading back to the slopes. Speaking of the slopes – Hirafu’s lifts are less than five minutes away and you can also zoom over to Niseko Village and Annupuri in about 10 minutes. Nice!

Ryoun is effortlessly elegant, irresistibly modern and lavishly spacious. The chalet cuts a striking figure with its angular façade and full wall windows that ensure you’ll never want for views nor natural light. Inside, the chalet relies on light timber, curated modern furniture and chic understated colours. The chalet sprawls over three floors. Thanks to two separate living rooms, guests can alternate between fun filled get-togethers and low key me-time as needed.

Living Room

Ryoun features two spacious living areas, allowing guests to relax and mingle in different configurations depending on your mood. The main living areas are located on the top floor where full wall windows reveal stunning views looking out to Mount Yotei. The lounge area is furnished with an elegant grey sofa and matching ottomans, with a sleek flatscreen TV keeping the whole group entertained on cosy nights spent in. The second living room is located downstairs. More compact in size, this room features a smart grey sofa and matching armchairs. It is the perfect place when you want to relax after a busy day spent out in the snow.

Dining Room

The dining area is incorporated to the top floor living areas. Guests can enjoy home cooked meals (or take away if you prefer!) gathered around a long timber dining table. Right behind the dining area is the chalet’s fully equipped kitchen which offers all the essentials, including a coffee maker for those early morning skis. There is a second kitchen by the downstairs living room – very handy for the guests occupying the two bedrooms located on the same floor.

Ryoun features four bedrooms that are generously spread over three floors. The bedrooms are styled in calming neutral tones with beautiful Scandinavian design influences. Besides three double bedrooms, there is a cosy bunk room that’s ideal for kids or teens. Two of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms and two rooms share a bathroom between them.

Ryoun is a four-bedroom chalet that’s built over three floors. The lower ground floor houses the first living room and two bedrooms which share a bathroom between them. The middle floor houses the entrance, garage, ski room, laundry room and one bedroom. The top floor houses the main living and dining room and one bedroom.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Ryoun is located in the St Moritz neighbourhood, just outside Hirafu Village in Niseko, Japan. This is a relaxed, residential setting dotted with chalets and a café or two tucked in between. Surrounded by serene forest, the area is away from the clamour and noise but still within easy reach of the action. The ACE family lift is about 15 minutes away on foot or less than five minutes if you’re driving. The same goes for all the restaurants, pubs and shops waiting in Hirafu Village. If you want to broaden your horizons, the Niseko Village and Annupuri ski resorts are also within a 10-minute drive.
