Sangria Sun certainly lives up to its tropical name. Built right on the shoreline in Wadduwa, this Sri Lankan villa offers a delicious choice between serene walks on the beach and splashing around your own private pool. Shaded by picturesque palm trees, the villa sits just an hour’s drive from the capital city of Colombo, allowing for a shorter travel time while still providing a serene beach getaway away from the city.

Sangria Sun has four bedrooms plus two sleeping lofts for extra guests. The idyllic villa also has an ace hidden up its sleeve: a large, air-conditioned space on the upper floor which is ideal for hosting yoga workshops, corporate gatherings, large dinner parties and more.

On an island dotted with rustic, traditional villas, Sangria Sun stands out with its fresh contemporary look and design. The furniture used throughout is light and modern, with large windows maximising the feeling of space and light. Outside, the scenery is dominated by the villa’s turquoise pool and serene palm trees swaying in the breeze.

Living Room

The living room is a luminous space filled with natural light streaming in through the glass doors which look out to the pool and ocean beyond. The room features two distinct seating areas so there’s plenty of room for the whole group, with relaxed white sofas and armchairs dotted with sangria hued pillows.

Dining Room

The indoor dining room is a white space dominated by a long wooden dining table comfortably seating all eight guests on wooden benches covered with soft white cushions. In true island style, meals can also be enjoyed outside by the pool with a fresh ocean breeze blowing in from the beach.

Garden

The villa is hugged by fabulous tropical gardens offering ample opportunity for some fun in the sun. Life revolves around the sparkling blue pool, with a selection of sun beds, lounge furniture and a dining area ready to entertain the whole group. From the garden, guests enjoy direct access to the beach.

Sangria Sun has four bedrooms, each one fitted with two single beds and adjoined by an ensuite bathroom. Two bedrooms also include open-plan lofts with queen-sized beds able to accommodate additional guests.

Villa Manager

Sangria Sun’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
