Opening the gate of Serene Garden Residence feels like stepping into a wonderland that is as whimsical as it is soul-soothing. These tranquil grounds are dotted with beautiful pavilions and unique features designed to wow and delight. In a villa of this stature, an immense swimming pool is a given – though Serene Garden Residence also adds a fun diving platform to the mix.

As you make your way through the gardens, you’ll discover an archery range (complete with solid and moving targets), a climbing wall, a playground and a dreamy treehouse that seems borrowed from a tropical fairy-tale. Life at the villa is not just fun and games though – you can also work up a sweat in the villa’s gym, followed by a plunge in the ice bath and a relaxing stint in the wood-burning sauna.

The villa itself sprawls over multiple pavilions and offers several living areas for guests to gather and socialise in – though in a setting as epic as this, you’ll likely be spending most of your time outdoors. Whether you’ve spent the day making the most of the villa’s grounds or exploring the ancient wonders of Angkor Wat, you can cap off the day gathered around the fire pit that flanks the villa’s pool. Life at Serene Garden Residence revolves around the great outdoors. The beautifully appointed rooms are divided across standalone structures – or “villas” – which are connected through serene gardens spanning over one hectare of land. Just as the name suggests, the two-bedroom Pool Villa gazes over the villa’s 18-metre pool, while the Family Villa features ample living areas and three bedrooms. Those who prefer an added level of privacy will delight in the Khmer House, a standalone bedroom pavilion hidden amid the greenery. True to the villa’s moniker, the gardens really are the main event here, offering hours of fun with incredibly unique features – who’s up for a tournament on the archery range, a plunge in the ice bath or a game of hide and seek in the whimsical treehouse?

Living Room

In keeping with the villa’s sprawling stature, Serene Garden Residence features multiple living areas for guests to mingle and relax in. The relaxed seating area on the ground floor of the Family Villa features an elegant arrangement of sofas and armchairs surrounded by eclectic art, antiques and curios, with sliding glass doors opening to a scenic garden terrace. The spiral staircase leading up to the upstairs bedrooms is a gorgeous design element in its own right. On the upper floor of the Pool Villa, you will find a chic arrangement of white sofas framed by a stunning timber archway, striking the perfect balance between old and new. Downstairs, there is a lounge room fitted with plush sofas, a TV and even a whiteboard in case you need to brainstorm or hold a meeting.

Dining Room

Just as you’d expect, guests can choose between several scenic dining areas dotted across this vast estate. There is a beautiful dining room in the Pool Villa that’s lit up by wicker lanterns and adjoined by a fully equipped kitchen. You can leave the glass doors open to enjoy a direct connection to the garden or close them to dine with the AC turned on. In the Family Villa, you will find a relaxed dining area both indoors and outside on the terrace should you prefer to dine alfresco.

Garden

The grounds of Serene Garden Residence more than live up to the villa’s evocative name. Sprawling over one hectare of land, the gardens are a tropical wonderland for guests to delight in. Not only is there ample room to run and play amid the beautifully aged trees, but you can also have fun on the archery range or jump on the trampoline to your heart’s content. There’s a swing and a climbing wall and even a cross fit playground to challenge you. For a more serene setting, grab a book from the library and head to the breezy hammock or climb up to the treehouse to enjoy blissful views over your very own magical kingdom. Oh, and of course there’s a huge pool for guests splash around in too! Half of the 18-metre long pool is 1.4 metres deep, while the rest goes to a whopping 3.7 metres depth. You can make a splash to the deep end from the nearby diving platform. Though it might seem tempting to simply stay in the pool, there is also plenty to keep you occupied on the surrounding deck, including a woodfired sauna, a refreshing ice bath and an atmospheric firepit.

Gym

The gym is housed in a standalone pavilion tucked in the garden, close to the Pool Villa and obviously, the pool – the perfect excuse for a post-work out dip! This air-conditioned space features full wall mirrors on one side and full wall windows on the other, ensuring lush garden views while you work up a sweat. The gym is equipped with a treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical trainer, rowing machine, dumbbells and a training bench.

Serene Garden Residence features six bedrooms that are divided into three buildings scattered across this expansive estate. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with muted colours and timeless furniture and most of them provide luscious views of the villa’s epic gardens. There are two bedrooms in the Pool Villa and three rooms are located in the Family Villa. One bedroom occupies a standalone pavilion known as the Khmer House tucked in the garden.

Serene Garden Residence is a six-bedroom villa that’s divided into multiple standalone buildings connected through vast gardens. The Pool Villa houses living and dining areas on the ground floor and an “apartment” on the upper floor – this consists of two bedrooms, a shared bathroom and generous living and dining areas. The villa’s 18 x 7 metre swimming pool is located directly in front of the Pool Villa. The second building is the Family Villa which features living and dining areas on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the upper floor. The third building is the Khmer House which houses one standalone bedroom. Another building houses the villa’s gym. There is also a standalone pavilion with a woodburning sauna located right by the pool. The gardens span one hectare of land and feature an archery range, swings, a trampoline, climbing wall and playground.

Villa Manager

Serene Garden Residence’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand 24 hours a day to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Security

Serene Garden Residence includes night time security between 5pm – 7am.
