Shimogoryo House brings you within walking distance of the ski lifts and offers a relaxed setting away from the hubbub. This two-bedroom chalet is remarkably spacious and even has its own gated garden area – a rare find in a Japanese chalet! Shimogoryo House oozes warmth and comfort and offers the perfect setup for hanging out as a group but also enjoying a little me-time when you need it. The two bedrooms are located on different floors, so everyone has their own space, while the upper floor living areas are primed for having a good time with the whole group.

Shimogoryo House Living
Shimogoryo House has a wonderful sense of ease to it. This chalet is so much more spacious than you’d expect from a two-bedroom property, and having all that space to yourself is a real treat. Besides the generous interiors, this chalet also offers a surprising amount of space outdoors. The chalet has a gated garden and a large balcony upstairs. It even has a garage and a parking space – the perfect excuse to rent a car and head out exploring.
Living Room
Located on the upper floor, the living areas have an open floor plan which makes it easy to come together and have fun as a group. The lounge area features a large grey sofa and a generous TV, with the adjoining balcony offering even more space.
Dining Room
The dining table takes pride of place at the centre of the living room. This long timber number can seat six people with ease, or you can grab a quick bite at the nearby breakfast bar if you prefer. The adjoining kitchen provides guests with all the necessary crockery and cutlery, with fittings including a coffee machine, rice cooker, and more.

Shimogoryo House features two bedrooms. The bedrooms have a calm décor that relies on light natural tones, with colourful artwork adding some punch. There is one bedroom on the ground floor, featuring a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. The other room is housed upstairs and features twin beds.

Shimogoryo House is a two-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses one bedroom and the chalet’s ski/laundry room. The chalet also has a gated garden, a garage and a parking space for your vehicle. The upper floor houses the living and dining areas, one bedroom, and a balcony.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Property Manager
The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
Location
Shimogoryo House is located in the Shimogoryo neighbourhood in Furano, Japan. The chalet offers a peaceful, residential setting in a community of chalets, all within easy reach of the ski slopes, restaurants, and shops. The Kitanomine Gondola is about a 10-minute walk away, providing access to beginner friendly slopes and trails suited for intermediates and expert skiers. There are a few great dining options within a short walk: Furano Delice is just a block away and Bistro Le Chemin is just a bit further out. There are more shops and restaurants available in the heart of the ski village (about 700 metres) or over in Furano town (about 3 kilometres).
