Though the area’s best restaurants, cafés and bars are an easy stroll away, you’d never guess it as the chalet is tucked on a quiet street away from the noise and traffic. Hitting the slopes is also made easy, as Hakuba’s most famed ski resorts (Happo One and Hakuba 47) are within a 10-minuet drive and Goryu is only a bit further out.

Silver Maple Chalet is the perfect place for hosting a bigger group, with lavish living areas to relax in and five well-designed bedrooms to snooze in. The chalet is fully loaded with all the mod cons you’ll need, plus a few plush extras, including a custom made hinoki bath (which can seat four people), surround sound, underfloor heating, two bunk bedrooms and more.

Silver Maple Chalet puts a fresh modern twist on traditional alpine aesthetics. This two-storey chalet features streamlined beams and a sleek fireplace that help bring this chalet bang up to date. The living areas have an inviting open floor plan, so you’ll always have a cosy space to enjoy your crew’s company, and the full wall views don’t hurt either. There’s a variety of bedrooms to choose from – will you go for the king bed, opt for the cosy bunk room or perhaps try the authentic tatami room?

Living Room

Housed on the upper floor, the open plan living areas are crowned with a lofty high ceiling that’s accentuated with streamlined beams. The large windows which look out to the trees are similarly highlighted with dark wooden beams that add a stunning contrast to the dominantly white space. Another statement feature is the stone wall which stands at the centre of the room and features a sleek embedded fireplace. Guests can enjoy the warm glow of the fireplace on an elegant grey sofa, with a large flatscreen TV adding entertainment.

Dining Room

The dining area is located on the other side of the fireplace which takes pride of place in the centre of the room. The dining table is nice and long and can easily seat the whole group for relaxed meals, watching as the snow falls outside the full wall windows. The dining area is followed by a smart and streamlined kitchen that has everything you’ll need for cooking up a storm, including a Miele oven and dishwasher, wine fridge, coffee maker, rice cooker and more.

Silver Maple Chalet features five bedrooms that offer a whole range of bedding arrangements. Two rooms feature king-sized beds which can also be converted into two singles if needed. There are two bunk rooms, one with two sets of bunks sleeping four and another with a single set that can sleep two. The chalet also has a traditional Japanese tatami room which can sleep two guests on futon mattresses.

Silver Maple Chalet is a five-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses four bedrooms (including two bunk rooms and a traditional tatami room). One bedroom is ensuite and there is a large standalone bathroom on the same floor, as well as a separate toilet. The upper floor houses the living and dining areas, one ensuite bedroom, a separate powder room and a large balcony.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
