Sol House Living
Sol House calls to mind a luxe beach house in the Hamptons. The villa is all dressed in white and decorated with the most elegant furniture and beautiful pieces of art. There is an ease and flow to this villa, with life moving effortlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces, from one building to the next, and from those divine swimming pools to that gorgeous stretch of beach waiting in your own backyard.
Living Room
Sol House has so many appealing lounges to choose from that you’ll really be spoilt for choice. The central pavilion has a beautiful lounge room complete with two cloud-like sofas, amazing sea views, and AC to keep you nice and cool. There’s also a fabulous lounge area on the upper floor of the neighbouring building. This open plan space offers elevated sea views and features huge white sofas and an inviting arrangement of armchairs. There’s also a lounge area on the ground floor, plus a media room for lazy nights spent in.
Dining Room
As the old wisdom goes, everything tastes better outdoors. The villa’s dining area is housed in an open plan pavilion by the pool, allowing guests to dine while enjoying the gorgeous tropical scenery and a fresh breeze blowing in from the ocean.
Media Room
The villa’s plush media room offers the perfect setup for a cosy movie night. It features a large TV, two ample sofas and a couple of armchairs, with a nearby table inviting you in for a friendly chat or perhaps a round of cards.
Garden & Pool
Beachfront bliss pretty much sums up life at Sol House. The villa sits on a pretty little bluff right above the shoreline, with a charming little garden gate taking you directly to the beach. The gardens with their palm dotted lawns are pretty hard to resist as well. To top it all off, the villa boasts not just one but two private swimming pools all yours to enjoy, plus ample sun loungers where you can luxuriate after a leisurely swim.

Sol House features six bedrooms. The bedrooms are light and luminous, mixing a white and cream décor with beautiful sea views. The rooms are divided into two buildings: three in the central pavilion and three in the neighbouring building. All rooms are well-furnished and spacious, and they are all adjoined by ensuite bathrooms.

The first bedroom is located on the upper floor of the central pavilion, and it opens to a gorgeous ocean view balcony. The room features a king-sized bed, sofa seat, writing desk, and wardrobes. Sol House Layout
Sol House is a six-bedroom villa that’s divided into three buildings. The central building houses a living room and three bedrooms. The building to its right houses further living and dining areas, a media room, and three bedrooms. The third building houses open air dining areas. The villa features two swimming pools and offers direct beach access through a garden gate.
Sol House Staff
Your stay in Sol House is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Sol House’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Sri Lankan hospitality.
Villa Manager
Sol House’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Sol House is located in Mirissa on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The villa offers a glorious setting with a pretty little garden gate delivering you directly to a beautiful and serene beach. Most days, it will feel like your very own private beach. While it feels blissfully away from it all, Sol House is located just a two-minute drive from the main road. This means you can reach the nearest restaurants and most enticing landmarks with ease. Mirissa Beach with its vibrant surf scene is about 10 minutes away, while the cobble stone streets of Galle Fort are about an hour’s drive away.

The villa is very nice, the rooms are spacious. The staff Shazan and Lakshitha took very good care of us. The food was amazing, especially the dinner prepared for us by chef Indika, which was very tasty. They also helped us with a TukTuk, where the driver stopped for us to buy fruit. The villa manager recommended us which mango we should buy so that we would like it best.
We had a beautiful view directly of the ocean.

Spent Labour day weekend here with 4 other couples and families, and had an incredible time! The villa is gorgeous, and on what feels like a private beach – just stunning scenery, soft sand, and the sound of waves. The bedrooms are super comfortable – spacious beds, great linens and pillows – with high ceilings and excellent AC. We had my 1 year old and 5 year old in a room and it worked perfectly with the sofa turned single bed. The villa staff were so helpful and served us delicious breakfast every morning. The two pools were perfect as one of them is just right for the little ones. We took a car for dinners outside of the villa, just a quick 10-15 mins drive as well to try the local dining scene. Highly rate the experience!

We stayed at Sol House 25th 26th Jan (1 night stay) with my family (including kids). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. Amazing service given by the 2 friendly butlers (Shazan) who looked into all our needs. They were very flexible even in terms of food to prepare anything we wanted even if it was out of the menu. Chef was also very accommodating to our requests and food was really good.
It’s a beautiful beach front properly with great sea views from the rooms upstairs. There were two big pools. We had a lot of privacy. They even have a seperate Tv lobby room which can be used to sing karaoke 🎤 if interested.

Pure Luxury in Beautiful Mirissa
We had an incredible 5 days at Sol House in September. The villa itself is pure luxury and had everything we needed for our stay. Each of the bedrooms were much larger than expected and accommodated ourselves and our toddler daughter in one room very well. Huge shout out to the incredible staff who so friendly and made our entire stay so warm and welcoming. We only ended up going out for dinner once as the menu at the villa was so good.
We enjoyed both Sri Lankan feasts and western menus during our stay. Location is also very ideal, only a short drive from the main restaurants and bars in Mirissa and the surrounding locations. We’re looking forward to coming back again.
