Song Saa is the ultimate ski escape for the modern age. This sleek and seductive chalet is tucked away from the crowds, surrounded by Niseko’s pristine nature and privacy a plenty. There is ample room to roam here, both in the great outdoors and inside this near 400 square metre mansion. Taking pride of place on the top floor, the lavish living areas were made for relaxed socialising, surrounded by full wall windows which invite the beautiful outdoors in.

Throughout the chalet, minimalist furniture rendered in luxe materials allows the views to do most of the talking. There are six bedrooms with plush beds for restorative slumber (including bunk beds for the kiddos) and a scenic bathtub that’s made for indulgent après-ski soaks. Nestled in a community of other high end chalets just moments from the Annupuri ski lifts, Song Saa feels like a rare jewel that’s been polished to perfection and is now just waiting to be discovered.

Living Room

The living areas comprise a large open space on the chalet’s upper floor. Crowned by a high ceiling and accentuated by rugged timber beams, the room is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows which look out to the surrounding landscape – wintry white, lush green or flaming red, depending on the season. The living area feels lavishly spacious and features two grey sofas dotted with grey and teal pillows, with armchairs and ottomans providing even more space for guests to relax and mingle. Of course, there’s a sleek smart TV to keep the whole group entertained. For a more serene setting, retreat to the tatami room next door where guests can sip tea gathered around a low-slung table or stretch out on straw mats to enjoy a movie.

Dining Room

Just a few easy steps from the living room sofas, the chalet’s dining table is perfectly positioned before full wall windows. This allows guests to tuck into hearty homecooked meals or takeaway while admiring the frosty vistas. The dining area extends to a sleek open plan kitchen where an island counter offers additional seats at the breakfast bar. The kitchen features streamlined modern appliances (including an espresso machine) and the huge windows allow guests to enjoy five-star views while preparing meals, snacks and hot beverages.

Song Saa has six bedrooms. The bedrooms feature muted colours and elegant minimalist furniture, creating a soothing backdrop for restorative sleep. Spread over two floors, the bedrooms offer a variety of bedding arrangements. The two upper floor bedrooms have king-sized beds. Down on the ground floor, two rooms have split beds (king or two singles, whichever suits you best) and two rooms feature two bunk beds each. All bedrooms have ample windows, generous closets and ensuite bathrooms – a rare feat in a chalet of this stature!

Song Saa is a six-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses four ensuite bedrooms, plus a ski/laundry room. The upper floor houses the living and dining areas, kitchen and tatami room. This floor also features two ensuite bedrooms.

Villa Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Song Saa is located in Annupuri, one of the sought-after ski resorts that make up Niseko. Annupuri is often described as the most relaxed of Niseko’s buzzy resorts, offering a more mellow setting away from busy Grand Hirafu and upmarket Niseko Village. The chalet is nestled in a tranquil community of luxury properties, surrounded by Niseko’s stunning nature. The Annupuri lifts are less than five minutes away, offering a variety of runs suitable for beginners and avid powder hounds alike. There are a few highly rated dining options close by, including Rakuichi Soba and Chuan by Ichiseko, both located within five minutes from the chalet. If you find yourself craving more variety, Niseko Village and Grand Hirafu are both within a 15-minute drive.
