The Dacha Living
The Dacha has been meticulously designed to make the most of the spectacular views, with living areas lined with full-wall glass looking out to the spellbinding lake. Both the architecture and décor are effortlessly contemporary, with natural materials and a glowing fireside adding a touch of warmth and comfort.
The living room is a fluid space connecting seamlessly to the dining areas and kitchen. The space is lined with glass bi-fold doors which can be fully opened to allow the room to connect with the scenic lake view terrace. The living room includes two light sofas and rich leather armchairs arranged around a statement fireplace and a flatscreen TV mounted above it. At the other end of this same space is another seating area, also flanked by a fireplace and a TV. In the guest wing of the main house, the four bedrooms are built around a cosy TV lounge with an L-shaped sofa, a TV and a log burner.
As well as offering multiple living areas, the villa also provides a variety of dining settings to choose from. The first is a long dining table housed in the main living room, flanked by full-wall windows on one side and the villa’s fully-equipped kitchen on the other. Close by in the second living room lounge, a second dining table offers an equally scenic setting framed by windows looking out to the lake. For alfresco dining, there is a relaxed round dining table outside by the pool.
As is only fitting for a property with such spectacular surroundings, The Dacha offers ample opportunity for spending much of your time outdoors soaking up the scenery. The villa is surrounded by generous schist stone decks perfect for drinking in the views. The undeniable highlight is the outdoor pool which offers the best possible views of Lake Wanaka. For some added pampering, the villa also includes a Jacuzzi tub.
The Dacha Bedrooms
The Dacha has six bedrooms. There are five bedrooms in the main house. The master bedroom occupies its own wing, with four guest bedrooms clustered in another wing. The sixth bedroom is housed in its own standalone pavilion, The Banya, offering an added sense of privacy.

The room also includes an office area if you simply must catch up on some work while on holiday. A walk-through wardrobe leads to the ensuite bathroom which includes a bathtub and a walk-in shower opening to a private courtyard.

The second bedroom is one of four guest bedrooms housed together in the west wing of the main villa. This room looks out to the lake and features a king-sized bed, a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

The Dacha is a six-bedroom villa that’s divided into two pavilions. The main building houses the living and dining areas and five bedrooms, with the master bedroom occupying its own wing and the four guest bedrooms located in the same wing, clustered around a lounge area with a seating area, TV, sound system and a fireplace. The second pavilion houses the sixth bedroom. The villa has a private swimming pool.

The Dacha is located on the edge of beautiful Lake Wanaka in New Zealand. Built on an elevated vantage point, the villa offers sublime views of Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. This is a beautiful setting where you feel close to nature, but still just a 10-minute from downtown Wanaka. It’s about the same distance to the Wanaka Golf Course. The Treble Cone ski area is about 30 minutes away.
