The Layar Dua Living
The Layar Dua wows with its design. This designer villa is crowned with the most stunning angled ceiling, with artfully curved walls only adding to its unique appeal. The villa’s angles are beautifully juxtaposed by the lush beauty of the gardens, with the villa’s open concept ensuring you’re in constant contact with Bali’s tropical beauty. This extends to the two bathrooms with both of them opening to a private garden. Can you say stunning?
Living Room
The living room is both visually stunning and incredibly comfortable. The room’s open plan design lends the space an irresistible tropical feel while the stunning angled ceiling and curved walls give it a touch of the avant-garde. The living room features two comfortable sofas angled toward the swimming pool which is never more than a few steps away.
Dining Room
The dining area is also incorporated to the living room, allowing conversation to flow freely between the lounge area, the dining table, and even those of your group relaxing out by the pool. The glass-top dining table can seat four, with the villa’s generous kitchen tucked behind sliding doors at the back of the room.
Media Room
Hidden atop a floating staircase above the living room, the media room is the perfect place to retreat after a long day spent out in the sun. Here you can kick back, relax, and simply get lost in a good movie or binge on your favourite TV shows.
Garden & Pool
The picture of a Balinese paradise, The Layar Dua is surrounded by luscious tropical gardens featuring frangipani and palm trees and generous stretches of lawn. With a well-sized pool glistening at its centre, the property feels like your own private oasis. The pool features a shallow section that’s perfect for children looking to splash and play or adults wanting to soak up the sun. The surrounding deck offers inviting sun beds while the nearby Jacuzzi invites you to unwind in style.
The Layar Dua Bedrooms
The Layar Dua features two bedrooms. Flanking the living areas on either side, the bedrooms are quite equal in size and share a similar layout, so there is no need to fight over top billing here. The bedrooms are decorated in elegant monochromatic tones, and they are each adjoined by a luxurious ensuite bathroom.

The Layar Dua Layout
The Layar Dua is a private two-bedroom villa located at The Layar villa resort. The villa features a private garden with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The living and dining areas are flanked by a kitchen and a bedroom on either side. Each bedroom is adjoined by a beautiful ensuite bathroom. The villa also has a mezzanine level media room.
The resort has 7 x two-bedroom villas. The layouts vary slightly between villas, but they all have the same features and share the same luxurious design.
The Layar Dua Staff
One of the greatest advantages of staying in a villa is the service provided by dedicated staff. The Layar has over 80 staff, professionally trained and determined to do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality. Pleasing to those who treasure their privacy, staff only appear when you need them; The Layar as a boutique resort is complete with its highly acclaimed restaurant, as well as in-villa dining and events – so staff are on hand to serve up a sumptuous breakfast, a delicious snack, or poolside barbecue, otherwise you’ll have the villa entirely to yourself.
Villa Manager
The Layar’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa estate. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand daily. Please note that The Layar’s butlers work on a room service basis, meaning they are only present at your villa when requested and not stationed at the villa at all times.
Chef
The villa’s skilled chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements. Meals can be ordered and delivered to your villa. Meals are prepared in the estate’s central kitchen. A private in-villa chef service can also be arranged for a BBQ or poolside lunch or dinner upon request. There is a charge for the chef to prepare meals in the comfort of your villa.
Security
Trained security guards working in shifts keep the villa estate safe and secure round-the-clock.

The Layar Dua is located in the chic Seminyak neighbourhood in Bali, Indonesia. The villa is part of the beautiful Layar villa resort which offers superb service and exquisite dining. Our stay at the Layar was amazing! The two bedroom villa matched exactly what we read about and the photos online. The staff is so helpful and could not have been nicer. Highly recommend the in villa barbecue it was so much food and such a variety ! Just a wonderful family experience we all loved it !

Stayed at the Layar for 3 nights. The service staff were exceptional and requests via Whatsapp were promptly answered. The space itself was lovely – the pool is as beautiful as in the pictures.
Perhaps the only downside were the stairs which were too many and high, very dicey for toddlers and elderly folk. There is a step down right after the door opens in one of the bedrooms, so have to be extremely careful and alert. However, Reservations were kind enough to change our Villa to one without many stairs, though still too many for our liking.
Wooden floors were also slippery and the pool was very deep at the end near to the entrance. Design was nice though some parts were impractical like the edge of the roof that is at the shallow end of the pool – tall people have to dodge. Very quiet space and plenty of buggies which came very promptly. We really felt cared for and staff were all friendly and polite.

We had an amazing stay at Layar Villas! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Everyone was so kind, patient, and always delivered our (many!) requests with a smile. The service was fast, thoughtful, and truly made our holiday unforgettable.
We especially miss the daily pastry baskets and the little reminders that made each day feel extra special! Even after we left, the team helped send back items we had forgotten — such a lovely touch that shows how much they care.

I was thoroughly impressed by the villa; it is exquisite, spacious, and predominantly designed with outdoor living spaces, making it an ideal setting for both family and friends. Spacious Stunning Villa
We stayed 7 nights in Villa 15 as 2 couples. The villa was in a great location – 7 mins walk to Eat Street and golf buggy ride 2 times a day to Seminyak and beach. The pool was big which we used every day. Each bedroom was spacious and private. A little issue with the main bedroom with hot water but was resolved quickly. We had breakfast in our Villa every morning and was brought to us the exact time we ordered it. The staff were very helpful and always had a smile. Thank you The Layar for a wonderful time and we can highly recommend to stay there.

Amazing stay, wish I had extended!
After experiencing some miscommunication and frustration over booking the villa, everyone at The Layar went above and beyond to make my stay truly spectacular – anything from organizing a warm welcome, floating breakfast at the villa, full-course dinner at the Settimo Celo and airport transfer seamlessly, to making sure every detail was in tune with my daily requests and needs. The attention to detail and customer centricity is much appreciated, on top of the fact that the place itself is an actual heaven. I was assured all the issues related to communications and booking options were resolved, so I expect the process to flow smoothly moving forward.
