Jungle Pool Villa
The two Jungle Pool Villas are beautiful one-bedroom villas with private pools and lush tropical views. The villas are divided into a lounge area with a dining table and coffee making facilities and the adjoining bedroom. The villas have a flatscreen TVs with international channels and DVD players. There’s also seating available on the spacious balcony by the pool. The bedroom houses a king-sized bed and the ensuite bathroom has a beautiful bathtub and separate rainfall shower.
Bamboo Pool Villa
The two Bamboo Pool Villas are stylish one-bedroom villas with a private swimming pool each. The villas have a spacious lounge area out by the pool and a beautifully appointed air-conditioned bedroom suite. Each villa has its own private pool which opens out to beautiful views of the jungle. The villas have TVs with satellite channels and DVD players. The spacious ensuite bathroom includes twin vanities and a sunken bathtub.
Two Bedroom Villas
Hill Pool Villa
The Hill Pool Villa is a large wooden antique home sourced from the island of Timor that has been completely renovated and updated. The house consists of two stories. On the ground floor, you have the living room with a TV/DVD with satellite channels, comfortable sofa and coffee making facilities. The living room opens out to the villa’s private pool deck which also houses the dining table.
The ground floor houses a bedroom with two single beds, which can easily be converted into a king if needed. The upper level houses the loft-style master bedroom with a four-poster king-sized bed. The two bedrooms share a bathroom with a bathtub and rainfall shower, which is located on the ground floor.
The Residence
The three Residence villas are a combination of two villas or antique Indonesian houses restored to stylish modern-day standards. The Joglo, Limasan and Timor Residences all consist of two bedrooms and a private swimming pool, making them ideal for families and groups of friends. Each villa includes a TV/DVD with satellite channels, luxurious bathrooms and coffee making facilities. For ultimate indulgence, the Ubud Bali Residence Villas also include massage beds and private spa facilities.

The Purist Villas is a boutique resort and spa made up of 17 villas and residences. Each villa is self-contained and private with its own swimming pool. The estate also houses a spa, restaurant and two public swimming pools. The Purist Villas offers the comforts and services of a hotel but maintains the luxurious privacy of a private villa.

Your stay in The Purist Villas is made enjoyable by the professional staff. The Purist Villas’ staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.
Villa Manager
The Purist Villas’ experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

The estate is located some 10 minutes from Ubud’s downtown area, with a free shuttle service providing convenient access to Ubud’s restaurants, shops and cultural attractions. Don’t miss out on a visit to the famous Monkey Forest or a Balinese dance performance at Ubud Palace. Then again, you might easily spend your holiday without leaving The Purist Villas at all, as the estate houses a luxurious spa and a beautiful restaurant. The Purist Villas is located about 90 minutes from Bali’s International Airport.

“Truly wonderful rainforest escape!”
These villas with a rainforest setting in Ubud are absolutely divine! Waking up to the sound of birds, crickets, catching butterflies in our garden and swimming in the infinity pool overlooking a rainforest – we couldn’t ask for more!
We spent one night at The Purist Villas and didn’t want to leave. The staff here is so friendly and attentive, but at the same time they ensure not to intrude on your privacy. We loved our breakfast served by the poolside – a selection of breads, fruit juices, great coffee, eggs, yogurt and fresh fruits.
Highly recommend The Purist Signature Couple’s therapy (don’t miss this if you’re on honeymoon).
These villas are about 10 min away from the main centre of Ubud, but they have a shuttle service at regular intervals. Their WiFi speed isn’t the fastest, so you actually end up slowing down from work and unwind in the lap of nature. So, no complaints here! :)
Overall, The Purist Villas are great for couples seeking an intimate retreat in Ubud.

“Wonderful”
It took a while for us to update the review but here we go. One word: excellence. Needless to say that the place is a dream. Besides the odd entrance, which is almost hidden, once you put your step in you don’t want to leave. The villas are modern but with traditional touches and everything is detailed and cared at the maximum level.
The staff is great, they helped us to organize everything before, during and while leaving. During our stay they provided everything we need sharply on time, superb treatment from all the team. Food was great, didn’t expect it that good. We enjoyed a lot our stay at the Purist Ubud, would very much recommend it.

“Pure Bliss”
We recently stayed at The Purist and it was absolutely fabulous is all aspects. The accommodation is outstanding, staff and service absolutely fantastic and the food was equivalent to dining at a top end restaurant. The day spa facilities and service were once again of the highest standard.
Whether you are a couple or family (we travelled with our two children 16/14) the Purist represents wonderful value.

“A Beautiful Oasis”
We spent 3 nights in the Bamboo Villa at the Purist, having read the reviews here on Trip Advisor and been impressed by the rating and we weren’t disappointed!. It really was a beautiful oasis amidst the chaos of the Balinese streets. Everything from the attention to detail in the rooms, the service from the wonderful butlers to the food on the room service menu was excellent.
We hired a driver for a half day, which was well worth while as he took us to all the most interesting temples around Ubud as well as the obligatory Monkey Forest.
While other reviews mention the wait for food ordered off the menu, we found that this seemed fairly prompt so it was never an issue and we absolutely loved the amazing breakfasts we were served at the table in our private courtyard every morning.
We were also impressed by the small personal touches like the gift of a beautiful box with some wooden bangles that the manager gave us as we were leaving.
All in all a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend the Purist to anyone planning on staying near Ubud.
