The Seed Bali Living
While The Seed Bali defies definitions, the word “wonderland” does come pretty close to describing this one-of-a-kind retreat. This vast beachfront estate is dotted with beautiful timber and bamboo pavilions (or “villas”) and palm trees reaching for the heavens. It’s a place that’ll unleash your creativity and send your imagination soaring. There is so much to surprise and delight you – how about a splash from the jump tower, a workout in the jungle gym or a movie marathon in the underground cinema? But what truly makes The Seed Bali so very special is its undeniable connection with its Balinese surroundings. From the landscape to the structures and the locally sourced cuisine served in the private restaurant, this truly is the very best of Bali.
Living Room
True to the villa’s sprawling stature, The Seed Bali offers several lounge areas for guests to socialise and relax in. You can shoot a game of pool in the games room, host a movie night in the underground cinema or relax in the open-air lounge as a waterfall cascades in the background. Undoubtably, much of your time will be spent outdoors where you’ll also find quite a few appealing spots to retreat to. We love the deck right by the beach… though the treetop yoga deck is also pretty hard to resist.
Dining Room
Dining at The Seed Bali is an unforgettable experience. Bloom Kitchen is the estate’s private restaurant that’s exclusive to guests staying at the villa. In other words, it’s not open to the public and you never have to share with strangers. The restaurant offers both local and international cuisine with a focus on sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. As for the space, the restaurant resembles a gorgeous bamboo cathedral with a long timber table inviting everyone to gather around for relaxed meals. Naturally, this space also offers direct views of the beach.
Cinema
This subterranean room is hidden beneath the aptly named Villa Underground. Without a doubt, it is one of the most impressive spaces in this jaw-dropping villa. This soundproof space can be used as a private cinema or a karaoke room – or maybe you’d prefer to use it as your very own night club?
Games Room
Housed in Villa Rabbithole, this entertainment room is primed for having a good time at any time of day. Adorned with a psychedelic mural and shimmering chandeliers, the games room features a pool and ping pong table, a bar and plush chesterfield sofas and armchairs.
Garden
With sea, sand and the lush tropics, The Seed Bali really captures the natural beauty of Bali. The estate has a truly enviable position right on the water’s edge, allowing guests to delight in the beach, luxuriate by the pool or simply soak in the tropical beauty. The villa’s free form swimming pool would look right at home at a swanky beach club, not least because of the jump tower that looms above it. The estate as a whole really feels like your own private resort with bijou palm framed walkways connecting the villa’s many pavilions. The Seed Bali offers endless opportunity to soak in the tropics, with a beachfront patio, a yoga deck and an outdoor gym all inviting you to channel nature’s healing frequencies.
Gym
The villa’s fantastic open-air gym perfectly captures the tropical feel of Bali. Framed by sand and jungle, the outdoor gym features weights and benches perfect for working up a sweat. If you prefer a more serene workout, the villa also features an open-air yoga deck which offers stunning panoramas of the Indian Ocean.
Spa
Wellness is woven into the villa’s DNA. The Seed Bali’s private spa facilities (which look directly into the pool through glass panels) include an infrared sauna and an ice bath – the perfect balance between hot and cold.
The Seed Bali Bedrooms
The Seed Bali features eight bedrooms. Each room is unique, and they are generously spread into multiple pavilions scattered across this vast estate. There are two rooms in Villa Underground which also houses the underground cinema. Two rooms are housed in Villa Rabbithole which also houses the billiards room. One room is housed in the Treehouse and one room occupies the Pondhouse. The two remaining rooms are housed in Villa Eywa which also features a living area framed by a waterfall.

The first bedroom is the Golden room housed in Villa Underground. This room features a king-sized bed. The adjoining bathroom is fitted with a shower, vanity and toilet.

The Seed Bali Layout
The Seed Bali is an eight-bedroom beachfront villa that’s divided into multiple pavilions. Altogether, the estate spans some 6,400 square metres. Besides the eight bedrooms, the villa features a private swimming pool, multiple living areas, an underground cinema/club, outdoor gym, sauna, ice bath and yoga deck. The Seed Bali also has a private restaurant and bar that’s exclusive to guests staying at the villa.

Your stay in The Seed Bali is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Issi’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly The Seed Bali hospitality.
Villa Manager
The Seed Bali’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. The Seed Bali comes with 24 hour security guards.
Location
The Seed Bali is located in Candidasa, Bali. Candidasa is a beautiful village nestled along the southeast coastline, away from the hustle and bustle of more touristic areas. The Seed Bali is located right on the water and offers direct beach access. Spread over 6,400 m2, The Seed Bali is a tropical playground with so much to do that you’ll probably have little need or desire to venture outside the estate. If you do feel like exploring, the quaint restaurants of central Candidasa are just one kilometre away. The surrounding area also offers fabulous sightseeing. The Tirta Gangga water palace is about 30 minutes away and the beautiful hiking trails of Sidemen can be reached in about 45 minutes.

Wow wow wow! From the uniqueness of each room, to the adult playground like common areas, this place thought of almost every little detail to set itself apart from most typical accommodations.
At first I was worried about the location, until I arrived and realized what a blessing it was to be away from all the business, noise, and traffic. I had an amazing time overall, if you make it say hello to “Dita” for me, she was super engaging and friendly, she really made us feel at home. I said all this to say, basically in the end I didn’t want to leave!!!
The Seed has been planted so I’ll definitely be back one day!

The Seed was love at first sight for me. It’s hard to put into words, but it quickly became one of my favorite places in Bali. I organized with my friend a birthday retreat celebration there, and we spent two amazing nights. If I was in love before, now I’m completely obsessed! The attention to detail is incredible, and the staff has my heart! I highly recommend treating yourself and booking a stay as soon as possible. I stayed in the Edwa room, but honestly, all my guests were equally amazed by their rooms. We woke up the first morning, and everyone said, “I’ve never slept that well!” I promise, you won’t regret it! Thank you so much to every single member of The Seed. I can’t wait to come back already!

I’ve been invited to The Seed a few times now, and each visit is like stepping into a whole new world! I’m blown away by the creativity and the attention to detail that flowed into this place. It’s like a wonderland where each spot was thoughtfully crafted.
This place is for people that want more than just a stay. Bali has many nice accommodations but only one that delivers full-blown experience.

From the landscape to the furniture in the rooms – there is so much attention to detail and you can really tell that it is a high-quality place. What an incredibly beautiful & functional estate! A group of close mates booked it out for the weekend. Once we came in, we didn’t want to leave. It was such a unique experience.
When we walked in… OH MY. I was blown away every step we took.
There are so many details across this estate. I could really see the owners put so much thought in. I think the best part for me was: there’s a place for each mood you want to be in: Chill, fun, excitement, sweaty (gym, sauna)? And the option to be by the beach, underground in the cinema/music realm, high above the trees, under the waterfall, in the water – but then how deep in the water? You’ll understand exactly what I mean when you get there. Explore every nook & cranny, please!
Also, i love the location. It’s away from the main tourist areas of Bali which means it has a clean, pristine beach. The issue I usually have with places further like this is that the food options aren’t so great. I usually feel like i’m having a lovely experience but then compromising on food. BUT, the food here was also scrumptious. I really didn’t feel like we needed the outside world at all.
The only bad part that I can think about is… I was so immersed in the experience that I forgot about my phone and didn’t manage to take enough photos. Will convince my friends to do it again soon. Although.. i don’t think they’ll need much convincing.

I will never forget it. Never seen a place thought in a better way, I suggest you ALL to try it at least once in your life. It’s incredible, indescribable with words, it’s just what YOU REALLY dream about this island: best view, best spa, best tropical architecture (outside) and very cool quality interiors / ideas (inside), amazing services, very cool quality interiors (again), supergoodFood, infrared sauna, unbelievable flinstones gym, cushions on the private beach for the best sunset or sunrise of your life, several bars, very cool bamboo restaurant, amazing pool in front of the ocean with Nusa Penida view just there and a small lake with lovely ducks, landscapes with balinese green hills just in the back that are visible from the bridge that goes on top of the pool :D
I could continue to list until tomorrow:
The most soft and loving sofas,
The throne toilet,
The soundproof audio studio / club to party for ever,
Etc etc etc.
Price mega worth it.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the seed several times now and must say it’s always a truly remarkable experience.
The resort itself is surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the ocean. The rooms are uniquely decorated, showcasing a fusion of local art and contemporary style. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the luxurious bedding to the carefully curated amenities. My favorite part is the epic basement that can easily turn into a secret rave or chill zone for movie nights!
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional level of service. The staff were warm, friendly, and always went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met.
The seed also offered a range of activities and amenities to suit every taste. From relaxing by the pool, enjoying the sauna and cold plunge or the incredible outdoor gym.

We had the honor to be among the very first guests in the Seed. This place is beyond your wildest dreams! The rooms are all different, the garden is amazing and the views from every corner simply breathtaking. We had the whole place to ourselves with our entire team and had the best time. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had some lovely dinners, started our day with yoga and even got some work done. The nights at the beach filled with beach volleyball and games were some of the many highlights. We hope to come back soon and until then we take a look at the pictures again ❤️
