Thermae of Ubud Living
Thermae of Ubud certainly lives up to its evocative name which harks back to the public baths of ancient Greece and Rome. The whole property (all 6,000 square metres of it) feels like a magical kingdom and wandering through the grounds feels like floating through a dream. Everything about the villa is authentically and irresistibly Balinese, from the bamboo architecture to the gorgeous surroundings. This villa perfectly embodies the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana – harmony with God, harmony among people, and harmony with nature.
Living Room
The living room is a gorgeous open plan pavilion housed beneath a sculpted bamboo dome. This space gazes over the villa’s gardens and out to the surrounding jungle. Thanks to the open layout, the room receives a wonderful breeze and maintains a beautiful connection to nature throughout the day. At the centre of the room is a plush cobalt blue sofa where you can unwind and take in the views, with more seats available on the built-in sofas at the back of the room.
Dining Room
That same bamboo pavilion also houses the dining area. Here you can gather around a timber table and enjoy meals prepared by the staff, all the while enjoying those magical jungle views. Hidden behind a beautifully tiled island counter, the living room also features an impeccably equipped kitchen, its sleek black design beautifully offset by a black and white mosaic wall.
Spa
What could be better than enjoying a relaxing massage surrounded by Bali’s gorgeous nature? The villa’s spa pavilion has an open layout which allows you to do just that, with an incredible bathtub (crowned with a chandelier!) adding yet another luxurious dimension.

Thermae of Ubud Bedrooms
Thermae of Ubud features two bedrooms. Each room occupies a standalone glass pavilion surrounded by the jungle. Both rooms feature plush king-sized beds and luxurious bathrooms with their own jungle views. The opulently dark floors and ceilings are contrasted by crisp white linen, with green and turquoise textiles nodding to the colour palette of the tropics.

The first bedroom is surrounded by full wall windows on three sides, creating the illusion of actually being in the jungle. The room features a king-sized bed, work desk, chaise lounge, and a decadent addition: a soaking tub in the bedroom. The ensuite bathroom is equally luxe and features a marble shower, vanity, and toilet.

Villa Manager
Thermae of Ubud’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
