TSUBASA CHALET

Tsubasa Hanazono is a grand designer chalet that effortlessly exudes quiet luxury. The chalet spans three floors and offers something to stun and delight on every floor. The upper floor living areas are simply stunning with their full wall windows, while the middle floor bedrooms allow the whole group to stay close to each other. The undeniable highlight can be found downstairs: a private gym / yoga studio neighboured by exclusive indoor / outdoor onsen baths. This truly is slopeside luxury at its best.

Living Room

The living areas take up most of the chalet’s top floor. Surrounded by full wall glass, the space is flooded with natural light and beautiful snow-covered views, with mighty Mount Yotei looming in the distance. The lounge area is furnished with two elegant beige sofas and matching chairs, with a large flatscreen TV vying for your attention. Right behind the seating area is a real showstopper: a glistening black piano that’s just waiting to be played. The piano is followed by another standout feature: a beautiful designer fireplace that’ll amp up the ambiance on a cold winter’s night.

Dining Room

Surrounded by full wall glass on three sides, the dining room is a truly stunning space. The dining table is a sleek glass topped number surrounded by 10 black chairs. Close by, the chalet’s open plan kitchen is equally sleek and chic and all dressed in black. The kitchen is meticulously stocked with all the kitchenware and appliances you might need, including a Nespresso machine and rice cooker.

Onsen

One undeniable highlight of this already impressive chalet is its indoor/outdoor onsen baths. Located on the ground floor, the 40 m2 onsen allows you to experience this ancient Japanese tradition in absolute privacy, whether you prefer the comfort of the indoor bath, or the unique beauty of the one located outdoors.

Gym

The chalet’s private gym is a rare find in a Niseko chalet. Located next to the onsens, this exclusive space allows you to squeeze in a workout in-between hitting the slopes. This spacious room also doubles as your very own private yoga studio.

Tsubasa Hanazono features five bedrooms. The streamlined rooms are decorated with calm colours and luxe materials. All five rooms are located on the same floor. Four rooms feature king-sized beds – two of these can be converted into two singles if needed. The fifth bedroom features a set of bunk beds, making it ideal for larger groups.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Tsubasa Hanazono is located in Hanazono in the Niseko ski region in northern Japan. The chalet is positioned less than a five-minute drive from the Hanazono ski slopes. Hanazono is a great choice for skiers of all levels and ages as the resort offers international ski schools, back country guides and fun winter activities like snowmobiling and tubing. Upscale dining at Park Hyatt Niseko is also available just three minutes from the chalet. If you want to explore other resorts during your stay, Grand Hirafu is about 10 minutes away and Niseko Village can be reached in about 20 minutes or so. All three resorts are accessible with the Niseko United All Mountain Pass.
