Ubuntu Beach Villa South’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef

We stayed at Ubuntu Beach Villas in Mirissa and had an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations and made our stay truly special.
The villa itself is stunning, with beautiful views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to switch off and enjoy every moment. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, and waking up to the sound of the ocean was a dream. The pool and outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing and soaking in the surroundings.
What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. A huge shout-out to Maleesha, the chef — his food was absolutely amazing. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with so much care and talent. On top of that, Maleesha was incredibly kind, friendly, and always happy to help, which made dining such a highlight of our stay.
We also want to give a big thank you to Aktar, our butler, who was extremely nice, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, always with a warm smile.
Overall, Ubuntu Beach Villas is a truly special place with outstanding service, amazing food, and a wonderful team. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and would absolutely love to return in the future.

We spent a wonderful week at Ubuntu Beach Villa by Reveal in Sri Lanka and truly loved our stay. The service was outstanding — the staff took amazing care of us and made us feel very welcome every single day. Our room was always spotless, and we really felt looked after.
The villa itself is a bit tired in some places and could use a little refreshing here and there (for example, some of the sunbed covers were slightly worn and stained). However, none of this affected our stay — the villa has a warm, cozy charm, and overall it’s a very lovely place.
The food was absolutely delicious. The staff quickly became like friends to us, especially Akthar, who was incredibly kind, funny, and attentive. He truly made our stay special. We also had our own cook — a young man Maleesha, he was wonderfully professional and prepared excellent meals for us.
We also enjoyed a massage at the villa. The therapist did an amazing job; she had very skilled hands, and we would definitely recommend her.
The villa is located about a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride from Mirissa Beach (around 400 SLR), which was very convenient. There’s also a great restaurant right next door. The short distance from the busy beach was actually a plus for us — we appreciated the quieter, more peaceful surroundings.
You can swim in the ocean right in front of the villa, although not always, as the waves can get strong. The staff always informed us when it was safe to go in and when it was better to enjoy the lovely pool instead.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. Warm people, delicious food, and a peaceful atmosphere — a perfect combination.

We must also highlight the wonderful welcome we received from Ruhini at the reception. Her sweet and kind demeanor set the perfect tone for our entire visit. She was incredibly welcoming and her warm smile made us feel at home from the very first second.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. For our son it was very good to have a nice pool and a beach to play in the sand with his toys. We stayed 6 Nights.
It was very comfortable to have a person who is always there for you when you need sth or have questions. Malith was great and we loved him very much. He was always nice and professional. He was available the whole time and when you check in you get his mobile number and you can text him always via What’s App and he responds immediately. This is a very good concept.
At our last night we enjoyed a Sri Lankan buffet at the Lantern Hotel nearby which was very delicious. The waiters and the people there were nice as well.
You can either choose to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Villas restaurant or eat at the Nearby hotel. It is one minute walk time, not more. If you prefer to eat outside it’s no issue. I recommend to test both and then you can decide the best option.
The leaving time is very flexible. We left at 11am but some other guests stayed until the late afternoon and it was no problem.
So thank you very much for the good time and see you the next time when we visit Sri Lanka.
