Vader Overview
Vader is one of those chalets that’ll make you do a double take. The chalet’s striking asymmetrical silhouette makes it a real standout, with plenty of warmth, comfort and winning design waiting indoors. Much of the chalet is framed by full wall glass which means you’ll be constantly surrounded by idyllic views of Niseko’s charming chalets, woodlands, and majestic Mount Yotei. The chalet is decorated with impeccable taste and a keen eye for comfort. There’s a full kitchen for preparing meals, functional ski and laundry rooms, and plenty of room to rewind after wearing yourself out on the slopes. Vader is nestled in the relaxed St Moritz neighbourhood just outside Hirafu Village. This setting offers the best of both worlds: easy access to the ski village (the lifts are just a three-minute drive away) yet away from the noise and commotion.

Vader Living
Vader takes the idea of a classic ski chalet and turns it up to eleven. Where traditional lodges come with a gable roof, Vader is an A-frame that slopes to one side. This gives the chalet a unique silhouette and a one-of-a-kind layout, with many of the rooms topped with sloped ceilings. While the design is whimsical, it’s also functional to the max, with double glazed windows and central heating ensuring that you’ll stay nice and toasty even in the heart of winter.
Living Room
The living room is a fabulous, light filled space located on the chalet’s top floor. The space is crowned with the chalet’s signature vaulted ceiling and framed by full wall windows gazing over the landscape. The living room is dominated by white sofas where the whole group can kick back and relax. The downstairs media room offers a cosy spot for hosting a movie night.
Dining Room
The upstairs living room is framed by a sleek kitchen fitted with all the essentials. Tucked slightly behind the kitchen, a long timber dining table invites everyone to gather up for epic feasts, with full wall windows ensuring gorgeous snow-covered views while you dine.
Vader Bedrooms
Vader’s five bedrooms come with streamlined and functional furnishings and a calm colour palette, with most rooms benefitting from large windows. There are four bedrooms on the chalet’s middle floor and one bedroom is housed downstairs. The downstairs bedroom is perfect for kids or teens as it doubles as a media room.

This is one of four bedrooms located on the first floor. It features a king-sized bed, with glass doors leading out to a balcony. The ensuite bathroom features a bathtub, shower, vanity, and a toilet.

Vader Layout
Vader is a five-bedroom chalet that’s built over three floors. Besides a bedroom that doubles as a media room, the ground floor also houses a ski room, laundry room, and garage. The middle floor houses four bedrooms. The top floor houses the living and dining areas.
Vader Staff
Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Property Manager
The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
Location
Vader is located in West Hirafu in Niseko, Japan. Dominated by impressive chalets and tranquil trees, this relaxed neighbourhood is located just outside the main ski village. You can reach the Ace Family Lifts in a 15-minute walk or hop on the free shuttle bus – the nearest stop is about 200 metres away. Hirafu Village offers a plethora of dining options, though you’ll also find a restaurant or two closer to home. The ever-popular Lupicia is about 600 metres away.
