Villa Akasha Living
Villa Akasha is a beautiful fusion of streamlined modern aesthetics and relaxed bohemian touches. The outdoor areas are uniquely beautiful as the villa looks out to a manicured courtyard garden that’s accentuated by lush green trees. The standout feature is the pool at the centre of the courtyard, its glistening surface perfectly reflected in the mirrored wall. The villa’s interiors also straddle the line between modern elegance and relaxed bohemia perfectly, with dominantly white rooms beautifully dotted with touches of rattan, timber and bespoke works of art.
Living Room
With its sky-high ceiling, white plank floors and glass doors looking out to the pool and garden, the living room captures the feel of a relaxed beach house. There is a huge white sofa to relax on and the whole room can be fully enclosed and air-conditioned when needed. Rattan and timber pieces and unique artwork lining the walls add a bohemian twist to the space. The living room extends to a cosy TV nook where you can settle down on a pillowy white sofa and enjoy all your favourite shows and movies playing on the large flatscreen TV.
Dining Room
The dining area is also incorporated to that lofty living room space. With the dining table positioned right by the glass doors, you can enjoy direct views of the pool while dining, whether you prefer to open the doors to let in a tropical breeze or close them to relish the cool of the AC. The timber dining table with its six matching chairs is a beautiful accent amid this dominantly white space. The villa’s kitchen is tucked right behind the dining area, allowing conversation to flow between the different spaces.

Villa Akasha opens to a beautiful courtyard garden that doubles as an alfresco living room. Surrounded by perimeter walls that ensure absolute privacy, the courtyard centres around a sleek blue swimming pool that’s bookended by a stunning mirrored wall. The pool is framed by a row of sun beds, with lush green trees adding touches of tropical beauty to this minimalist chic space. The courtyard also offers ample opportunity for dining and lounging alfresco, with a pergola seating area, a dining table and a barbecue kitchen/bar all positioned around the pool.
Villa Akasha Bedrooms
Villa Akasha features three light and luminous bedrooms. The bedrooms are all lavishly large in size and they are all fitted with king-sized beds, TVs and ensuite bathrooms, so no one has to settle for a lesser room. The rooms are divided over two floors, with two rooms positioned on the ground floor close to the pool and the living areas. The third room is housed upstairs.

The first bedroom is located downstairs with glass doors opening to the poolside terrace. This room has a lofty high ceiling and an all-white décor. The room features a king-sized bed, flatscreen TV, sofa lounge, coffee table and a writing desk. Villa Akasha is a three-bedroom villa that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses the living and dining areas and two bedrooms. The upper floor houses a third bedroom. The outdoor areas feature a private swimming pool flanked by an outdoor dining area, a pergola and a barbecue kitchen/bar.

Your stay in Villa Akasha is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Issi’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Villa Manager
Villa Akasha’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.
Chef
The villa’s skilled Thai chef will happily prepare Thai cuisine and Western favourites. The chef is included in the villa price for breakfast and lunch. There is a cost for the chef to cater for dinner for the group.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
Villa Akasha is located in Choeng Mon on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand. The villa is positioned in a peaceful enclave, surrounded by other villas and private residences. Choeng Mon Beach is only a five-minute drive away, or 15 minutes if you feel like walking. This is a beautiful beach covered in soft powder white sand, and though it’s easily accessible and offers great dining options, it still has that great feel of a hidden gem – something you won’t find in bustling Chaweng Beach. (Though if you do want to check out the action, Chaweng is also just 20 minutes away.) Villa Akasha is a great homebase for some Samui sightseeing. The iconic Big Buddha Temple is less than 10 minutes away and you can reach Bophut’s charming Fisherman’s Village in about 15 minutes.

Wow, what an absolutely fabulous stay we had at Villa Akasha. The rooms, pool, living areas and bathrooms were incredible. We unexpectedly had some wonderful staff who are available to you all day, we had our breakfasts made and could order lunch at a time to suit you, one evening we paid extra to have Ay cook us a fabulous Thai meal. Some of our group had food poisoning (from a restaurant not the villa!) and were so well looked after by Ay with ginger tea, medicine from the pharmacy and such kindness.
It is worth knowing that the villa is a bit of a walk from Choeng Mon beach and town (about 10 minutes) but it’s up hill so when it’s hot it feels a lot longer. The Beach is lovely both during the day and at night, plenty of places to eat but not too busy. If you want a livelier evening Fishermans Village is about 15 minutes away.

An amazing place to stay
We had a truly amazing time at the villa. Firstly the photos do not do the villa justice. It is amazing and there is so much space- far better than a hotel. The pool is great as also the outdoor area and it is really nice to be able to open the living room doors out onto the pool area. The beach isn’t that far and only a 5-minute walk away from the Villa.
Secondly, Aya and Noi look after the villa on a day-to-day basis and are incredible and make us feel very comfortable. They really looked after us well. The kept the villa very clean and arranged lots of things for us to do like massages, manicures, yoga, and Thai boxing tickets. Their cooking is second to none! Really the best Thai food we have ever had.
Aya was extra good to us as we had to take our baby to hospital and she came with us to help us. She also drove to the airport to give my husband his watch which he left in the villa. She went above and beyond what we expected.
We used Mr June to get around the island and Aya helped organise this. He was a very polite and safe driver and his car was very clean and fit the whole family (6 adults and 1 baby). This is beyond doubt the best place to go for a family holiday.

Stunning Villa, Highly Recommended!
At first, I was hesitant to book a villa coz I didn’t know if it would have the same service as if I booked a hotel, but then TJ from Holiday Villa Retreats gave me villa Akasha and proved me wrong, the service the facilities are much more than staying in a hotel, the staff is superb and rooms are amazing and I love the pool, I and my family enjoyed staying there, and I know you will too.

Nothing less than FANTABULOUS::))))))
First of all, I don’t know how anyone can rate this Villa less than a 5/5. This villa is such bliss in the heart of Cheong Mon with ultimate comfort and luxury- Conceptualized with such magnificence and beautiful in design, it is a dream come true holiday space in every sense of the word! The hostess: extremely flexible, very magnanimous and accommodating – we had a pleasure dealing with Marie and she an absolute no-fuss hostess who responds immediately. So that experience for us was brilliant. The airport transfers: comfortable van / absolutely on time/ great service/ very comfortable and helpful without having to remind The villa: the grandeur of the space is what reaches to you first. The entirety with which each element binds itself to a unique concept around which the villa is designed is just gorgeous.
It is luxury combined with a very usable home feel to it which makes it so so nice. The insides become the outsides and vice Versa to sync so beautifully. This villa felt like home in every sense of the word and each and every member of our family loved it completely. The vibe of the villa is so positive and fresh – it was definitely one of the BEST experiences we’ve had ever.
The service: the USP of the villa is the staff that I am guessing Marie has so carefully selected. There are 2 super efficient workers Aye and Jane. Aye handles the kitchen and the break and overall supervision while Jane handles the cleaning of the house. Let me say that they left no stone unturned to see that everything was prim and proper every single moment or day.
From the breakfast being served out in perfection to the Cleaning or even running errands to the close by Market, they did the smallest of things with the biggest of smiles. I haven’t seen staff so possessive and particular about a house they work for…… says a lot about the owner.
Overall experience – the view from the breakfast table which reaches out to the hills far away, the comfort of the cuddling broad sofa seaters, the lovely pool which is perfect in size to just lounge in for hours, the comfort of the beds, the choice of pillow (one hard and the other soft) the bed linen, the towels etc everything was spot on perfect. I am a little obsessed about these things so yes I do notice all of this and this villa ticks all the right boxes.
Safety: whether early morning or late at night coz most nights we would get back post-midnight, we never found the place or area unsafe. We never had a single untoward experience. There are screwed-in lockers in each wardrobe and if that is not safe enough, the wardrobes can be locked too. So nothing to worry. All in all, we’ve had one of the best holidays ever and the due credit is goes to villa Akasha, Marie, and the staff and service- The Vila makes you feel one with nature, free-spirited and relaxed.

Fantastic Host. Brilliant House Staff. Most Beautiful Villa I’ve stayed in. All amenities are very well thought of. 3 rooms with ensuite bathroom. Well-appointed kitchen with Oven, microwave, and coffee machine. The washing machine is operated by the Villa staff. Beautiful pool with outdoor bar and BBQ counter. Breakfast and airport transfer were included. Must Stay.

Amazing villa
The overall proposition is amazing. Indoor decoration and design are very refined, balanced, and done with the best taste. Outside pool and terrasse invite you to organize a long apéritive with friends surrounded by the best sound system ( in and outside ). I have only one suggestion for you .. go there and enjoy!

Stylishly luxurious.
Great place to chill with friends and family. The high ceiling gives the place a nice airy feel. The kitchen equipment is top-notch. The owners spent a decent amount to set this place up. The pool was bigger and the beach was closer. It is pretty good in terms of being close to Chaweng Beach and the fishermen’s village.
