Guided by principles of plush modern comfort, all indoor areas of the villa are air-conditioned – including the soundproof media room that’s perfect for hosting epic movie nights. Most of your time, however, will likely be spent enjoying the great outdoors, whether that means exploring the nearby beaches or splashing around the villa’s 17-metre-long pool. Yet another impressive feature is the upper floor terrace which offers the perfect setting for hosting relaxed barbecues, surrounded by tropical greenery and palm trees swaying in the breeze.

Villa Babadan exudes contemporary elegance that’s further elevated by lush tropical touches. Every detail and each finishing touch has been curated to perfection to create a sleek and seductive escape amidst the tropics. The craftsmanship is impeccable throughout – most notably in the beautiful spiral staircase which connects the villa’s two floors. The indoor spaces are decorated in elegant muted tones that feel very of the moment. Together with the full-wall windows (which are present throughout the villa), the calm colour palette allows the lush green shades of the tropics to truly come alive.

Living Room

In a true stroke of genius, Villa Babadan’s spacious living areas are located on the property’s upper floor. Surrounded by full-wall windows, the elevated position allows the space to be flooded with natural light throughout the day, with views gazing over tropical treetops and out to the surrounding rice paddies. In keeping with the villa’s modern design approach, the living areas can be fully enclosed and air-conditioned. The space is furnished with plush grey sofas and curated designer pieces. There is also a cosy library area tucked to the back of the room – the perfect spot to retreat to with your favourite book in hand.

Dining Room

Villa Babadan’s dining table is located in the same fluid space as the living room seating area. Crowned by a modern chandelier, the dining table is crafted from a single slab of wood and can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. An elegantly styled open kitchen adjoins the dining area, fitted with all the latest appliances and thoughtful smart features. From here, service stairs lead down to the staff kitchen where the villa’s chef can prepare gourmet meals for your group.

Media Room

The media room is also located on the upper floor, close to the living and dining areas. Fitted with a 57-inch smart TV, a Bose sound system and generous sofas to lounge on, this soundproof room is perfect for hosting movie nights. Thanks to a well-designed workspace and a bookcase stocked with coffee table books, this is also a great space for catching up on some work or simply enjoying a little quiet time on your own.

Gym

It’s easy to stay active during your stay at Villa Babadan. Besides clocking laps in the swimming pool, guests can also make use of the villa’s fitness room. Located on the ground floor, the gym is fitted with a treadmill and a mini stepper machine, with dumbbells, yoga mats and yoga blocks also provided. The fitness rooms includes a smart TV, with large windows offering plenty of natural light during your workout.

Garden & Pool

Villa Babadan is framed by a sleek saltwater swimming pool which stretches at 17 metres long. The swimming pool is framed by a row of palm trees, followed by a generous stretch of lawn that’s dotted with sun loungers. Hugging the villa’s walls is a covered veranda which offers a beautiful setting for cooling down in the shade, with stylish grey sofas to relax on. If you’re looking to host a relaxed barbeque or an elegant cocktail party, there is no better setting than the villa’s upper floor terrace. This lavish space can host up to 20 guests seated on generous sofas and armchairs. The terrace also features a barbecue and a long bar counter, creating the perfect setting for chic get-togethers. The terrace is decorated with lush green plants, evoking the feel of a private tropical sanctuary.

Villa Babadan features four bedrooms decorated in elegant light tones and furnished with curated designer furniture. Large windows provide ample natural light and beautiful tropical views. Each bedroom is adjoined by a well-appointed ensuite bathroom. Two bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds. The other two rooms feature two single beds each – these can also be converted into kings if needed. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, with one bedroom located upstairs along with the living and dining areas.

Villa Babadan is a four-bedroom villa that’s built over two levels. The ground level houses three bedrooms with direct access to the expansive gardens and the villa’s 17-metre-long saltwater pool. The ground floor also houses the villa’s gym. Connected through a beautiful spiral staircase, the upper floor houses the villa’s living and dining areas, media room and the fourth bedroom.

Villa Manager

Villa Babadan’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Villa Babadan is located in Cemagi on the southwest coast of Bali, Indonesia. This is a serene part of Bali, with the villa surrounded by rice fields and other luxury estates. Munggu Beach is about 500 metres away. The beach is covered in velvety black sand and provides beautiful views at sunset. While the area does attract avid surfers and long-term expats, it still remains under most travellers’ radar, earning it the status of a true hidden gem. There are a handful of relaxed local eateries in the area, with a few more upscale restaurants having recently emerged as well. The stunning Tanah Lot Temple is about 20 minutes away by car. If you do find yourself craving some added excitement, the bustling streets and surf breaks of Canggu are just a short drive away.
