Villa Bahagia is one of those rare villas that manages to take your breath away right on arrival. This incredible villa is built on a cliff in Nusa Lembongan and as soon as you step through the gate, you’re greeted by one in a million ocean views stretching out as far as the eye can see. It really is hard to imagine a more sensational first impression. While the views are definitely the star player, Villa Bahagia wows on all accounts.

The estate is lavishly large, with charming pavilions dotted over 2,500 square metre gardens that boast rolling green lawns and luscious tropical plants. All four bedrooms provide ocean views and the same goes for the beautifully styled living areas and the villa’s enviable infinity pool. Our favourite feature? The sunset deck perched right on the edge of the property – the perfect spot for sipping ice cold martinis as the sun paints the horizon flaming shades of red, pink and gold. Just like this lovingly built and immaculately well-kept villa, this natural spectacle never gets old.

Villa Bahagia is the dictionary definition of a hidden gem, nestled as it is along a small and rocky road. This type of road access is typical to this petite island and arguably, it is part of Lembongan’s charm. What is not typical are the views that greet you right on arrival at Villa Bahagia. Even after inspecting countless five-star villas, these 270-degree ocean views were able to leave our whole team speechless! Once you’re able to tear your jaw off the floor, you’ll also fall love with the relaxed ease and Balinese hospitality that the villa exudes. On all fronts, Villa Bahagia offers beauty and comfort that seem to defy reality.

Living Room

The villa’s open plan living pavilion captures the tropical feel of Bali to a T. This breezy pavilion is crowned with a thatched roof and offers jaw dropping views of the clear blue ocean stretching out as far as the eye can see. Inside, the living room is furnished with timeless furniture largely rendered in timber, with fresh white and aqua blue textiles playing up the seaside ambiance. Guests can relax on two sofas or choose one of the nearby armchairs instead. The living pavilion is open on all four sides, but when guests prefer, the room can be enclosed with blinds.

Dining Room

The living pavilion also houses the villa’s dining table. This is easily one of the most scenic dining venues on the island, with a sturdy timber table surrounded by eight chairs providing glorious views of the garden, pool and of course, the infinite blue ocean. The open layout of the room allows for a fresh sea breeze while you dine though again, the blinds can also be closed if you prefer a break from the elements. The villa’s kitchen is housed in a nearby garden pavilion.

Garden & Pool

While this villa is obviously all about those million dollar views, it’s the immaculate gardens that really take the property to the next level. A serene statue of the Buddha and a tranquil fish pond greet you right on arrival, followed by well-groomed lawns and luscious tropical greenery. At 17 metres long, the swimming pool is luxuriously large in size and thanks to its sleek design, it seems to blend with the ocean itself. With a row of swim-up seats right up front (and a pair of parasols providing shade), this is arguably the best infinity pool on the island! As the final flourish, the villa also has a sensational sunset deck that gazes over the clear blue ocean and as the day wears on, the flaming red shades of an unforgettable tropical sunset.

Villa Bahagia features four bedrooms, each housed in a standalone pavilion that’s graced by a terrace that gazes over the ocean. The bedrooms are spread out and near equal in size so there is no need to fight over top billing here. All four rooms are furnished with a king-sized bed and adjoined by an ensuite bathroom.

Villa Bahagia is a four-bedroom villa that’s divided into multiple pavilions. The main building houses the open plan living and dining areas which look over the villa’s 17-metre-long swimming pool. There are two bedroom pavilions located directly behind the living pavilion. Next to these is the kitchen which is also housed in its own building, followed by two more bedroom pavilions. The villa is set amidst vast oceanfront gardens which feature a scenic sunset deck.

Villa Manager

Villa Bahagia’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Villa Bahagia is located on the beautiful island of Nusa Lembongan just off the coast of Bali. Administratively and culturally, Nusa Lembongan is a part of Bali and while the two islands are only separated by a short, 30-minute boat ride, lovely Lembongan still has its own unique charm and ambiance. Though the island is growing in popularity, it still feels far more relaxed and laidback than the busy streets of southern Bali. Nusa Lembongan is the perfect place to slip into relaxed island time. Villa Bahagia sits on a clifftop on the southwest coast of the island, providing glorious views of the ocean. This is a more quiet part of the island – though on an island so compact, you’re never too far from the action! The aptly named Dream Beach is just 300 metres from the villa and the iconic Devil’s Tears rock formation is just a bit further off. Sandy Bay Beach Club, which offers relaxed dining and stunning sunset views, is located one kilometre from the villa.
