Villa Chintamani Living
Villa Chintamani’s layout is ideal for groups of friends and couples travelling together. Each bedroom occupies its own pavilion with a private plunge pool meaning there’s plenty of opportunities to enjoy some me-time. The huge infinity pool and beautiful living areas make hanging out as a group a breeze.
Living Room
The property features two separate living areas. The living spaces share the same soothing design with the rest of the property – think plush white sofas piled high with dream-soft pillows with a glimmer of a turquoise pool shimmering in the background.
Dining Room
The villa’s dining table seats all 10 guests and offers luscious views with the garden’s lush greenery blending in with the dramatic Balinese tapestries lining the walls. A mirror covering one whole wall adds to the endless sense of space in this airy room.

The villa’s 28-metre infinity pool sits right on the edge of the property, offering endless views of the ocean. Villa Chintamani Staff
Your stay in Villa Chintamani is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Chintamani’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.
Villa Manager
Villa Chintamani’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Chauffeur
A chauffeur will provide you with the ultimate experience! A car and driver can be a great way to explore you holiday destination. Villa rates include complimentary car and driver on stand-by for up to eight hours of complimentary guest use (excluding petrol). Please note that the car and driver are not available on the days of check in and check out.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
Villa Chintamani is located in Uluwatu, Bali. The villa is located within the Ungasan Clifftop Resort. The resort boasts its own fine dining restaurant, Selatan, as well as housing the prestigious Sundays Beach Club. Villa guests enjoy free access to the beach club as well as to the resort’s gym and tennis court. The villa is within a 20-minute drive from the clifftop temple of Uluwatu. Drop-dead gorgeous beaches like Padang Padang and Blue Point can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car. Villa Chintamani is located 40 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

SUPER LOCATION WITH LOVELY VIEWS
Beautiful location. We stayed in a Private Villa on the furthest part of the cliff with an infinity pool overlooking the beach and the sea. Beautiful sunrises and partial sight of the sunset. I think the Villa was called Chintamani. We were provided with a private butler (different one every day of the 3 days we spent). Food was specially made as per our Order and was excellent. There’s a bigger swimming pool which is also available exclusively for use of the Villas. The service overall was good.

Perfect in every way!
We stayed at The Ungasan for 3 nights, upon our arrival for a two week trip to Bali. Having been to Bali a few times before, this trip was about rest and relaxation and The Ungasan was the perfect starting point.
This place was faultless – from the smooth check in process, to the quality of the food and the amazing staff.
We had a one bedroom plunge pool suite in the Chintamani Residences. Chintamani was fantastic with amazing views from the common area. The main pool and common spaces were private, quiet and so comfortable.
Though we had our own private villa pool, we basically had the common area to ourselves the entire time and spent most of our time there enjoying the view. The room was spacious and super comfortable – very private and quiet. The food was fabulous. We only ever ate breakfast at the hotel, but it was wonderful – so many options with the choice of where we wanted it served (our room, the common area, the main dining area) the options and flexibility were amazing. Each residence also has a butler assigned, making it that much more personable. Ade was our butler and she was fantastic, always helpful, friendly and one step ahead of us to make sure our stay was perfect.
One of the other amazing aspects of The Ungasan is the beach access – though you are the top of a cliff, you have easy access to the beach, as well as Sunday’s Beach club. As guests you have VIP guest access to the club. Where the service and food was exceptional.
Lastly, and maybe not everyone’s first thought when they are on vacation – but the gym was awesome. Well equipped and bright and spacious with lovely garden views.
This remains one of my most favourite experiences – I would recommend this place to everyone. A definite 10/10 hands down.

Magnificent
Beautiful resort with friendly attentive staff Villa Chintamani where we stayed was gorgeous with our own plunge pool, deck and cabana. Food in hotel in all venues perfect and a must to try all the dishes……and cocktails. We didn’t want to eat outside the hotel at all as food too good.
A special thank you to Dewa, Eka and all the butler staff who attended to our every need.
Sunday’s Beach Club is wonderful, great drinks, food and atmosphere and service. There is an inclinator to take you part of the way down but the stairs are a bit of a killer for unfit people like me but great to work off your drinks or dinner.
This beautiful resort and wonderful staff will not disappoint 👍
