Villa kapungkur is definitely my favourite stay in Bali. The Villa has one of the most unique designs I’ve ever encounter. The classic javanese design combined with the modern interior have resulted in a very unique staying experience. The staff there were also very welcoming and helpful. The spacious Wantilan (living area) in the middle of the Villa made it perfect for my family and I to hang around and gather. Highly recommended stay in Jimbaran Bali
Rooms: Very clean and spacious
Noteworthy details: The classic javanese design

I stayed here with my parents, husband, and 3 kids (9-17 years old) for 1 week.
It was such a wonderful experience that we’re already thinking when can we go back. The room were lovely and spacious, with ample amenities and serene vibe. We each had our own space, with large gathering are in the middle to hang out after dinner.
The staff, especially Pak Ram the manager, were so attentive and caring. They go far and wide to make sure our stay were comfortable, including helping us recommend where to go for certain activities and book it.
I was initially hesitant as the location is more south than where I usually stay in Bali. But it turns out to be perfect! We are very close to a lot of good food and places that do water sports, surfing, even Kecak fire dance.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the experience and will definitely be going back.
Rooms: I can’t rave enough about the room. Great proportion, thoughtful design, luxurious ambient. I especially appreciate water features near each room. The sound it creates put me to sleep every night.
Nearby activities: Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) and their 5PM Kecak dance are just minutes away from the villa.
Sundays beach club is 20 minutes away, providing white sand and very swim-able beach, while Jimbaran beach and its soft sand is great for beginner surfing.
Safety: The villa itself always have staff members and security, so we feel really safe.
It is not a walkable area in general, so renting a car, especially if you have your children is recommended.
Food and drinks: The staff cook us breakfast to order every morning. Professional coffee machine and selection of tea are also available for us to use. We also have access to the fridge, where we stock cold drinks for the kids.
During our stay, we asked for a private chef that was recommended to make us dinner. It was very delicious and ample proportion. Other days, we ordered in with GOFOOD app or ask the staff to buy us certain food item that were not available via the app. There are also Movenpick food court just 10 minutes drive away. Jimbaran famous seafood grill is also 10 minutes away by car.

It was the most amazing villa I’ve ever stayed in. The bedrooms are all individual buildings, with massive bathrooms and beds(so comfortable, and I am very fussy with beds). The main suite overlooks the large pool, with a waterfall!
Breakfast was included they cooked whatever I asked for, plus real fresh good coffee!
The main family room is a beautiful outdoor area for eating relaxing etc.
Great location, it was very central to all the activities we wanted to do,and not far from the Jimbaren beach (which had lots of great seafood restaurants).
Rooms: Large and spacious, beautifully equipped bathrooms, all air-conditioned.
Nearby activities: Everything you can think of, jet ski, snorkeling, ATVs, the staff will help you arrange whatever you want to do.
Safety: Extremely secure and quiet.
Food and drinks: Plenty of good food nearby, and the ability to order food delivery, even McDonald’s if you have one picky child!
Private chef available to book (book in advance as she was brilliant! )

Villa Kapungkur is breathtaking! I loved walking through the gardens, exploring all the traditional Indonesian artefacts and listening to the waterfall while beside the pool. The villa is a masterclass of fusing antiquity and modernity. The bathtubs of Villa Kapungkur are a particular highlight – I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed!

Love, love, love it! We stayed for only 2 nights so it wasn’t long enough. The villa design and gardens are incredible and as soon as you walk through the Balinese doors we were overwhelmed with it’s beauty. The bedrooms are unique and each one is stunning, perfect size and have stunning ensuites. Perfect sized pool for those you want to laze by the pool like we did.

Paradise on earth
What an amazing property – it has 5 separate bungalows, a beautiful pool, a massive living/playroom – perfect for our big family (8 adults and 6 kids) get together. The property has the traditional Balinese charm, with the high standard modern finishes. It’s well maintained with on site housekeeper/cook, pool guy and security guard. The kitchen is equipped with an air fryer and Italian coffee machine. The staff are friendly and always very helpful. Ram the property manager kindly organised an activity for the kids to learn how to make “canang sari” and explained the meaning of it. He also went out of his way to organise a surprise for us at a request of my husband’s business associate from Sydney. The staff spoilt us with a beautiful Balinese cuisine for our family dinner with special menu for kids as well. I highly recommend this villa and will definitely stay here again when we visit Bali next!!

Beautiful piece of paradise in Bali
My family and I stayed at The Longhouse Bali last week and had a marvellous time at the villa. Owner Linda (so lovely and knowledgeable about what’s amazing in Bali) and her staff are incredible hosts and were very kind and particularly accommodating to my husband, myself (6 months pregnant) and my little 2.5 year old toddler.
We stayed in the beautiful Bali room on the third floor which had a lovely bathtub, and wonderful private pool facing the green hilltop views. The room comes connected to a living room area where the TV is and also where the staff so wonderfully set up toys. This made the early mornings a joy for our daughter! We loved the eco touches such as water pitchers filled anytime you like with filtered water instead of bottled water. So environmentally friendly! It was amazing waking up to the sound of birds chirping every morning.
The food at The Longhouse is of great quality and we particularly loved the Beef Rendang and amazing homemade desserts! What made the dining experience even better was the choice of where we’d like to have the meal -poolside, dining room etc.
The grounds at the villa are a joy to explore and savour. Where the 3rd floor hosts the pool and carries most of the panoramic view, The second floor is home to a green garden where you can read or lounge or in our case, play catch! I also booked a massage which was so enjoyable that I fell into a relaxed sleep. There is a small gym if you desire a simple workout.
We also booked the villa’s driver, Eko, who was very knowledgable and patient with our requests. Other notable staff include Hepy who was lovely and sweet to our daughter throughout the stay, and, Ruddy who went through great lengths to ensure my husband managed to watch his World Cup matches.
We will definitely be back to this perfect slice of Bai with our extended family soon. Thank you team The Longhouse for a fantastic holiday at the villa!

Unforgettable wedding moment!
It was a great memory, a beautiful day, and unforgettable moment we have. The staff have outstanding performance, very kind, humble, helpful, and out of expectation services.
From the moment we stepped in, until we left the place, we know we choose one of the best.
The villa is one of the most beautiful place in Bali. With wide view of the island of Gods, combined with Indonesian touch of the interior design, very lovely to stay.
To handed an important event? No need to questioned it! Superb!
I will highly recommended this place, either for enjoy holiday, or to do a special moment in life.
Hug and respect,
Rudy & Chrisye.

Heavenly Bali
What an exceptional treat to find The Longhouse. The view over Jimbaran is spectacular.
The rooms are everything you would want and expect from a first class hotel. But this is
where it really shines. The staff and the owner Linda make you feel so much at home anything you desire they will find and do for you. After a week in Bali we were so comfortable that we were calling Bali our second home. Don’t forget to ask for the special

Even better than in the pictures.
This was my third stay at the Longhouse and it is no wonder you just want to keep coming back for more of the Longhouse experience. Even though everyone in the group had seen the pictures and checked out the website, nothing had prepared them for the amazing house, the view, the atmosphere and the welcoming team at the villa. I have stayed at a few other villas over the years, and although many are beautiful, none can match the standard of the food prepared by chef Nurah. Order the Gado Gado for your first lunch and you will be off to a great start. As it was a special celebration for us, a true garden party with candles, centrepieces and flower petals was prepared for the group; all part of the service.

Highlight of the trip to Bali!
We had an excellent time staying at the Longhouse. The staff and facilities were outstanding, offering a very warm, welcoming experience. The house itself was fantastic, with a beautiful view over the city, being both centrally located, but also secluded enough to offer a calm, peaceful stay. I would highly recommend the Longhouse as a holiday destination, and hope to stay there again in the future

Such a pleasant stay
the place was just excellent, pretty much hidden from the crazy-busy vibe of typical southern Bali. Really enjoyed the stay there, and I believed my wife and kids also felt the same. Highlight recommended for those looking for a new solitude around Jimbaran.

A Bali paradise on a hill
We spent four nights at the Longhouse and had an absolutely amazing time. What makes this Bali villa stand out (besides all the space it offers) is the infinity pool with its incredible view! Just laying in the pool (or on top of one of the extremely comfortable floating cushions) watching the different weather fronts move across the island is an amazing experience. Because it is situated a bit higher the air is also very nice and not as stuffy as it can get in other places.
During our stay we ventured out to Seminyak for shopping and Jimabaran beach for play, always getting excellent service by the villa’s private driver, making excursions very easy to plan. But besides that we just stayed at the house, really enjoying all it had to offer.
The staff is very friendly and attentive and makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The dining experience at the villa was excellent and allowed us to be very specific in what we wanted or to leave it all up to them to decide. Special requests was no problem and we were allowed to take part as much as we wanted, for example the kids made cookies which they truly enjoyed. Everything was fresh and they really adhered to our dietary requests.
Overall, the Longhouse made for an unforgettable Bali experience. Only a short 20 min drive from the airport makes it perfect also for a weekend stay as traffic can otherwise be a hassle in Bali eating up that valuable time rather spent by the pool.
We left the Longhouse with big smiles on our faces, and we certainly already miss that pool, that food, and that view…
