Villa Kimaya exudes the easy elegance of a modern tropical villa. Though the overall effect is very luxurious, it never feels over the top or ostentatious. The calm colours and natural materials all work beautifully together to create a relaxed ambiance that’s both flawlessly polished and unmistakably Balinese. The earthy colour palette works as the perfect backdrop for the gardens which are bursting with lush tropical beauty. From the rooftop terrace to the immense saltwater pool, this is a villa that was designed to wow, delight and entertain in true Bali style.

Living Room

Villa Kimaya offers oodles of space for relaxing and lounging in style. The elegant living room is styled with earth tones and asphalt grey, with glass doors looking over the garden and out to the paddy fields beyond. You can leave the doors open to enjoy a fresh breeze or close them to cool off with the AC. A plush grey sofa and two matching armchairs are framed by a statement painting and two contrasting wooden sculptures, one depicting an ancient pagoda and the other an abstract human form. Upstairs, there is another living room which offers even better views of the rice fields. This room extends to an outdoor play area that’s sure to keep the kids entertained with bikes and toy cars which the little ones can use to cruise around on the artificial lawn.

Dining Room

Villa Kimaya is all about living the good life and so it seems only fitting that there are two dining areas for guests to enjoy gourmet meals in. Over in the main house, guests can dine in air-conditioned comfort gathered around a glass-topped dining table with full wall windows offering beautiful views of the garden. The dining area seamlessly extends to a beautifully designed kitchen that centres around an island counter crafted from wood. The second dining area is housed in a breezy poolside pavilion where guests enjoy serene views of the paddy fields during the day. After sunset, this dining area is beautifully lit up to host lavish alfresco dinners. The outdoor dining area also features a kitchen that’s decked out with a traditional pizza oven and a barbecue. Overall, foodies will feel right at home as the villa also has a Nespresso machine, milk frother, two blenders, a rice cooker and all the crockery and cutlery you could ask for.

Media Room

With iconic movie posters adorning the walls, the villa’s media room is prepped for a fun filled movie night. Located downstairs by the kitchen (handy for picking up extra snacks!), the media room is fitted with a massive flatscreen TV and a lavish 15-seater sofa. The adjoining bathroom means you won’t have to venture far to visit the powder room.

Games Room

The mezzanine games room is a great place to hang out and have fun with the whole group. The room has a billiard table for shooting a game of pool, and board games and darts are available too. There’s also a fridge for storing snacks and drinks and a TV for some added entertainment.

Gym

To help guests keep up their fitness regime during their stay in Bali, the villa features a small fitness area on the upper floor of the main house. This air-conditioned mini gym features a work bench, punching bag, yoga mats, stretch and ab roller, free weights and barbells.

Garden & Pool

The villa’s lush gardens are a tropical wonderland all yours to enjoy. The villa is framed by neat green lawns which seem to blend with the rice paddies stretching out in the distance. The expansive feel of the property is further enhanced by the glass perimeter wall which hugs the estate. Taking pride of place between the lawns and the paddy fields is the villa’s gorgeous 16-metre-long salt water pool which smoothly transitions from the depth of one metre to 2.5 metres. The pool deck offers three sun beds to lounge on, either working on your tan or enjoying a breather under a yellow parasol. A breezy dining pavilion flanks the pool, crowned with a rooftop terrace that’s ideal for sipping sundowners in style.

Villa Kimaya features five bedrooms. Each room is lavishly spacious in size and features elegant modern furniture and generous windows looking out to the tropical gardens. The rooms are divided into two buildings, with three rooms located in the main house and two in a separate pavilion by the pool. Four rooms have king-sized beds and one has a queen. Each room also has a small sofa that can be set up as a bed which is great if you’re travelling with kids in tow. All rooms are complemented by a luxuriously spacious ensuite bathroom.

Villa Kimaya is a five-bedroom villa that’s divided into two pavilions, each of them spanning two floors. The main building houses the living and dining areas on the ground floor, along with one bedroom. There are two more bedrooms located on the upper floor. This floor also houses a second living area, an outdoor play area and a mini gym, with a mezzanine games room located above them. The second pavilion also spans two floors with one bedroom housed on each floor. The villa has a 16 x 3.5 metre swimming pool flanked by a dining pavilion that’s crowned with a rooftop terrace.

Your stay in Villa Kimaya is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Kimaya’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.

Villa Manager

Villa Kimaya’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

Villa Kimaya includes night security. It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Villa Kimaya is located in the buzzy district of Berawa in Canggu, Bali. The villa offers a fabulous location close to all the trendiest hotspots but tucked down a small lane, it’s still hidden away from the noise. There is a plethora of great restaurants and cafes within a five-minute walk, including Milu, Ulekan, 7 Islands and many more. Berawa Beach, which is as popular for early surf sessions as it is for lazy sundowners, is a quick five-minute drive away. This beach is also home to the ever popular Finns Beach Club. For family friendly fun, Finns Recreation Club with its water park, restaurants, bowling alley and trampoline centre is about five minutes away.
