    “Loved it”

We stayed in Villa 1 at Villa LaLu in Seminyak for 13 days in November this year. We loved it, were a bit worried because some of the reviews said there were lots of mozzies but we did not see one mozzie, anywhere. The villa was cleaned every day, it was spacious, we bought 19litres of water in a big bottle from reception for 30,000rp which lasted us the 13 days.

Their food was quite ok and cheap comapared to some of the other resorts we have stayed at. We thoroughly enjoyed Villa LaLu, it’s better for couples and friends, not really for kids. The whole time we were there, we pretty much had the pool to ourselves and although we saw others around meal times, we really didn’t run into the other guests at all, so it was very private and quite. The laneway is directly accross the road from Bintang Markets which have all your needs at local prices, and about 10 minute walk to the beach if you so desire. Would highly recomend it and would stay there again.

    “A fabulous find in Bali”

We stayed for an all too short five nights over Easter. Arriving at 1.30 am we were greeted happily and it was all good from then on. We had a huge 2 brm Villa at the rear of the complex it was so lovely and quiet, our own garden and blissfully airconditioned bedrooms.

The whole complex is lovely, beautiful gardens, lovely pool area, yummy breakfasts and so close to the busy Seminyak shops & restaurants.

The staff were wonderful, so helpful and we both loved the fact that we were called by our names and were not ‘just a guest’
We would recommend these villas to anyone coming to Bali looking for a perfect place to stay in a more tradtional older syle villa with grace & charm ( rather than the bland modern style)

    “Nice comfortable stop in seminyak”

I stayed only 1 night in Villa Lalu. Together with my family we stayed in a family villa. The family villa is huge and very spacious! It consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 2 showers and a living room. The villa is very clean and has a balinese style.
They have a pool, but unfortunately i didn’t have the chance to swim in it because I arrived late and left early in the morning.
The food was ok, nothing spectacular. Personally I preferred eating in the many excellent restaurants in seminyak (I recommend Merah Putih!)

The staff was very friendly. They welcomed us with a welcome drink and cold towels.. The reception is open for 24 hours so late check ins (like ours was) isn’t any problem! I didn’t see a lot of the hotel but my overall expression was that it is a good hotel. For the price and location this is certainly one of the better hotels in Seminyak!
