A beautiful marriage of palaital Singaporean style mansions and cosmopolitan tropical living perfectly sums up Villa Marang. This commanding six-bedroom villa steals the hearts of trendy travellers as its is a bespoke hidden retreat with one of the most sought after postcodes of Bali – Canggu.
Living Room
Villa Marang offers guests multiple quiet nooks and sprawling living spaces to relax in peace, whilst also coming together to social as a wider group. An open-plan living space is beautifully positioned overlooking the swimming pool and fluid connects with the dining room. Located in the main pavilion is a relaxing enclosed TV room featuring a Smart TV, DVD player and a Sonos sound system.
Dining Room
Villa Marang’s dining room commands the attention of guests with its tall ceilings and spectacular rattan style chandelier. Furnished with a lengthy 14-seater dining table of which is accompanied by a water garden adding a tranquil sound track to all meals. To one side a state-of-the-art kitchen is well-equipped to cater for all in-villa meals.
Media Room
Villa Marang is not short of choices for entertainment with a comfortable media room complete with an L-shaped sofa and large Smart TV with a DVD player and kept cool by air-conditioning. A games room is featured on the ground floor in the main pavilion of the villa and houses a billiard table, flatscreen TV and seating area.
Gym
Located next to the villas media room is a private gym, fully-equipped with an exercise bike, treadmill, crosstrailer, boxing and free weights machines.
Garden & Pool
Villa Marang has a palatial tropical garden manicured to perfection surrounding its vast sparkling swimming pool. A sprawling timber pool deck emcompasses the edges with sun loungers dotted around the waters edge of which is shaded by resort style parasols. To one end of the pool a bamboo shaded bale sits pretty waiting for guests to enjoy afternoon cocktails or a midday nap.
Villa Marang Bedrooms
Villa Marang has six bedrooms of which are split between two pavilions. All six bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds, a TV and feature private ensuite bathrooms with soak-worthy bathtubs, twin basins and rainfall showers. Five of the bedrooms king-sized beds can also be set as twin singles if required, one of which is perfect for a family with young children as it also boasts bunk beds.

Villa Marang is a palatial six-bedroom villa boasting open-plan style living and dining spaces with tall ceilings and an expansive outdoor tropical garden. Impeccably maintained, Villa Marang is built over two-storeys and split between two pavilions surrounding a vast shimmering swimming pool. In the poolside pavilion is where bedrooms 5 and 6 are found alongside the gym and media room. The main pavilion houses bedrooms 1 to 4 as well as the games room, kitchen, living and dining spaces.

Stunning villa! One of the best in Canggu and when you step foot inside you will see why. The colonial design paired with the tropical Balinese gardens work well together. There is a billiard room, bunk room, media room and 6 bedrooms in total! Fully staffed with a team to look after you. And if you need more room, next door is the sister villa called Villa Bogor offering you 12 rooms to sleep an entourage.

Incredibly friendly staff ensures a top stay in this beautiful spacious villa! Wonderful beds and nice bathrooms. Very tasty and fresh food (the healthy breakfast is a must). Don’t dine out and be surprised by the fantastic Indonesian cooking skills of the staff! Had wonderful days at the pool in peace and quiet and certainly immersed ourselves in the nightlife of Canggu! Also made some trips to temples (tanah lot), rice fields, mount Batur in Ubud and beaches in Uluwatu. And don’t forget a dance class in Canggu!

Fantastic stay in bustling Canggu
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Marang. The hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful. We received great tips from the villa manager Wayan, which allowed us to discover beautiful places on the island. The villa is within walking distance of the beach and there is a lot to do in the area. In Villa Marang you can relax by the pool in addition to the tours and activities.

Incredible stay at luxurious Villa Marang
It was like a dream to stay at Villa Marang! Just around the corner from Canggu’s busy hot spots, you will find a peace and quiet atmosphere here. Not only looks the villa beautiful from the outside, the inside as well offers a unique own style and design. The staff is incredible, so friendly, warm and makes sure you feel at home. They take care of the rooms, garden and are attentive to your needs. Beds are extremely comfy, the food is amazing (couldn’t get enough of the ‘rijsttafel’) and you cannot think of a better location; the beach and hotspots are just around the corner. The stay was beyond wonderful. Villa Marang is one of the best, luxurious places I’ve stayed in the world.

Changgu is hip and happening. Every conceivable activity is at your doorstep, easily reached by mototorbike, which Wauyan, the villa manager, will happily arrange for you. For those of us who have stayed at Villa Tjiitrap in Seminyak, Villa Marang, clearly designed by the same architect, feels like coming home. Again, all 6 bedrooms are very spacious, all with their own en suite, a gym, game room and video entertainment room complement the lavish lay out. The quality of materials used and the thoughtful artwork are of the highest standards and demonstrate that the Dutch owners often use the Villa. The grounds and garden are well developed, considering that construction was only completed in 2019. What really stands out is the wonderful staff. They will take care of your every whim, without being overbearing for a second. Apart from housekeeping, all meals can be catered in house. Impossible requests? Just ask Wayan. In short, a very sophisticated villa in a perfect spot. Rumor has it a third villa is under construction. Can’t wait.

Ultimate luxury in hot and happening Canggu
Stayed in the villa for a long weekend. Fantastic design and layout, everything works to perfection. 6 very large bedrooms, huge pool and garden. Staff is proficient in English and very helpful. Paradise for an untroubled holiday. Close to the beaches, where you can find deluxe clubs, but also small and cosy bars right at the beachfront. Ideal for groups of friends or large families.

What an amazing property! We had the good fortune to be one of the first guests to stay at Villa Marang in Canggu. The Location: on a side road off the road to The Lawn, walking distance from many hip- and happening Canggu bars and restaurants such as Billy Ho. The Villa is very tranquil though. The Villa: we searched hard but could not find anything to complain about, a lovely pool surrounded by comfy deck chairs, a well equipped gym, a billiards room, an AV room, great Sonos sound system, bedrooms are super comfortable with large bathrooms. And in every room beautiful contemporary art. The Service: Pak Wayan and crew took care of us, pick-up from the airport, cold towels during the drive, welcome drinks, a sumptuous “rijst tafel” when we arrived. A breakfast menu that can beat any 5 star hotel. And even a bartender after coming back at night, really exceptional. Final votes: 6 stars out of 5 :)

Perfect villa for large group. We stayed here for 7 nights with family and friends and the villa is amazing!!! Photo’s don’t do it justice!! As soon as you walk through the gates you feel like your somewhere else (or really rich). Great family friendly villa with amazing pool and entertaining area.
