Villa Pantai Kubu is one of those rare places where you can truly get away from it all. The villa is perfectly positioned on Bali’s secluded coastline, with nothing standing between the villa and the ocean (not to mention some of the best diving on the island!) but your own private pool and lush Balinese gardens. The villa is in perfect harmony with its serene surroundings, with its thatched roof pavilions perfectly matching the postcard ready palm trees dancing in the breeze. Indoors, the rooms are relaxed and modern, allowing the incredible setting to take centre stage.

Living Room

Unlike many Balinese villas which feature living areas completely open to the elements, Villa Pantai Kubu’s living room is fully enclosed and air-conditioned, offering welcome respite from the tropical climate. There is a huge grey sofa to relax on, with groovy artwork and fun beanbag chairs adding some whimsy to the space. When you’re not busy comparing notes from your diving adventures, you can flip through the channels or watch the latest blockbusters on the well-sized flatscreen TV.

Dining Room

The dining area is incorporated to the same space as the living room so you can keep the good times rolling and the conversation flowing even when part of the group is relaxing on the sofas and others are gathered around the solid wood dining table. The table is a statement piece in its own right as its crafted from a massive slab of wood and flanked by two matching benches. A neat bar counter separates the dining area from the kitchen which is fitted with all the tableware, cutlery and appliances you’ll need during your stay. Slide open the glass doors to discover another dining area perched outside on the terrace where you can enjoy your meals with a side of million dollar ocean vistas.

Garden & Pool

Villa Pantai Kubu is framed by picture perfect Balinese gardens whose tropical beauty is only matched by the ocean views stretching out to the horizon. The villa’s picturesque pavilions are hugged by lush green lawns dotted with palm trees that gently sway in the ocean breeze. The trees cast their delicate shade over a vibrant blue pool that’s framed by a row of scarlet red sun beds and relaxed beanbags. Whether you’re in the pool or lounging next to it, the endless ocean views are sure to leave you speechless. There is a dreamy gazebo on the edge of the property that brings you even closer to the beach – or perhaps you’d prefer a lazy nap in the hammock instead?

Gym

If world class diving and dips in your private pool are simply not enough, the villa also has a compact fitness room to help you stay active. The air-conditioned gym features generous windows and comes with a treadmill, incline bench press, free weights, yoga matts and an exercise ball.

Villa Pantai Kubu features three bedrooms. These are bright modern spaces with white walls and full wall windows that introduce the tropical outdoors as part of the décor. Distressed wooden furniture further plays up the bohemian feel of the villa. Two of the bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with twins) flank the living areas while the third room (which features a king bed) is housed in an idyllic standalone pavilion fronted by a private porch that looks over the beach. All three rooms are adjoined by an ensuite bathroom.

Villa Pantai Kubu is a three-bedroom villa that’s built over a single floor. The main house features the living and dining room which is flanked by a bedroom on either side. The villa’s swimming pool runs parallel to this building. Next to the main building is a pavilion which houses the third bedroom. The villa’s gym is also housed in a standalone pavilion close to the villa’s main entrance. The gardens feature extensive lawns which lead down to the beachfront.

Villa Manager

Villa Pantai Kubu’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Villa Pantai Kubu is located in the village of Kubu in Karangasem, Bali. Villa Pantai Kubu is positioned right by the beach and guests enjoy amazing views of the Indian Ocean right in their own backyard. Watching the local fishing boats head out at first light is an experience you won’t soon forget. Kubu is located right up the coast from Tulamben which is one of the most famous diving sites in Bali – this is where you can explore the USAT Liberty Shipwreck. Accordingly, the area is popular with divers and you will find two small dive resorts with restaurants and spa facilities close to the villa.
