You’ll know you’ve reached your destination once you find yourself catching your breath – that is what the spectacular ocean views which dominate life at Villa Pawana tend to do. Once you’re able to tear yourself away from the views, explore the rest of the property, where you’ll be treated to a chic tropical decor featuring open-plan architecture, bohemian rattan furniture and high vaulted ceilings.

The main living area overlooks the pool, allowing guests to enjoy unhindered views of the ocean while catching up on island gossip snuggled up on the plush azure blue sofas, with a flatscreen TV mounted on the wall providing added entertainment.
Dining Room

Your stay in Villa Pawana is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Pawana’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.
Villa Manager
Villa Pawana’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay. Butler service is available between 7am – 10pm.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Chauffeur
A chauffeur will provide you with the ultimate experience! A car and driver can be a great way to explore you holiday destination. Villa rates include complimentary 8 hours/day seven-seater Toyota Innova car and driver is on stand-by for up to eight hours of complimentary guest use (excluding petrol).
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Villa Pawana is located at the luxurious Ungasan Clifftop Resort in Uluwatu, Bali. The resort is home to Sundays Beach Club, an exclusive beach destination drawing visitors from across the globe. For those looking to explore other parts of Bali, the white sandy beaches and fine dining options of Nusa Dua beckon just 30 minutes from the villa, while the seafood restaurants of Jimbaran can be reached within 25 minutes by car. Villa Pawana is located 40 minutes from Bali’s international airport.

Beautiful Property & Amazing Staff
For context, we have been to Bali many times and have stayed at a number of different villas in the Uluwatu area. We were a group of 7 friends, hoping to find a luxurious, spacious, comfortable villa with an infinity pool and unobstructed views facing the ocean. Our goal was to find a villa where we would be happy spending most of our time in Bali relaxing in (as we had already seen the sights in prior visits). We found just that, and so much more at the Ungasan Clifftop Resorts!
We stayed in the Pawana villa, which was perfect for our group! The villa has several areas where people can spend time relaxing, including a large open air dining room (which can be fully enclosed if desired), living room and private pool. The views from the villa’s main living room, and especially the private pool, are unparalleled.
A very special shoutout to our butlers, Eka and Lofan, who were so incredibly welcoming and friendly. They truly made our stay the most comfortable it could have possibly been. They made themselves available at all hours of the day, yet were always respectful of our space and privacy. Most importantly, they did everything with a smile. One of the highlights was the daily breakfast spread, which consisted of local Indonesian fare (bubur ayam and nasi goreng were our favorites) in addition to Western breakfast classics (pastries, yogurt, fruit, eggs). The Indonesian food that they serve in house is honestly comparable, even better, than a lot of the food we got when we went out to eat.
We also spent some time at Sundays Beach Club, a few steps away from the villa (and Eka/Lofan made arrangements for us to get a table on the beach), which was also a great place to relax on a sunny day.
We are looking forward to returning as soon as we can!

Out of this World!!
Where do you start with such an amazing place? From the moment you drive thru the entrance the place is captivating enlighting and gloriously maintained.
With a gathering of great friends we were lucky to enjoy the Pawana compound. Behind the closed door entry opens a glorious entrance path leading past each of the 5 individual suites straight to the infinity edge cliff top pool. Stunning views down over the nearby beach.
Many a morning was spent watching the sunrise from the pool or lazing in the nearby cabana.
The rooms were spacious clean and private if you wished to retreat from the common areas for an afternoon nap. Bed was super comfy with great pillows and plenty of space.
Each morning after picking from a range of options the group would arrive to a table set for breakfast, including cooked options, juices, fruits and breads.
After discussion with our hosts each day we were treated to in house dining cooked to perfection onsite of local delicacies.
It’s such a relaxing place to stay if you don’t wish to use the on call transport, swim read a book, socialize with friends or just do nothing!
Our final night our hosts set up a beautiful outdoor dining experience, a wedding next door came complete with fireworks that capped of a great dinner.
Which brings us to our hosts Rizka and Wawan. They were the most polite and courteous hosts. No request was to hard or difficult and they were there to help all day and night. A real asset to The Ungasan.
If you book a week or a weekend it would never be enough time to enjoy yourself here.

Amazing scenery, service & food
We chose The Ungasan as a venue for our wedding in October 2019.
We did a lot of research on various venues that are available in the Uluwatu area but we truly think there is nothing that comes even close what The Ungasan has to offer. Breathtaking views of the ocean, intimate & private setting (unlike other big resorts) as well as well-trained and dedicated staff and an access to one of the best beach clubs in Bali. All our guests were blown away by the location.
We were particularly impressed by the staff at the reception – they really made sure that our guests felt comfortable and were taken care of, there were no delay on drinks or food which truly added to the overall dining experience.
Other than the wedding…we stayed at Pawana for 3 nights, where we were assigned with two butlers who went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. What made the stay even more enjoyable for us and our families was the fantastic in villa dining experience. While the menu wasn’t long it was very thoughtful – traditional Balinese food with a modern twist, all prepared with great quality ingredients. The food was surprisingly well-priced as well, which is why we didn’t bother going out for meals.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and we can’t wait to go back for one of our anniversaries in the future!
