“Quiet luxury a la Bali” is an apt description of Villa Rumah Ubud. Designed by Studio Jenquel, this villa whispers decadence and showcases Bali’s lush beauty to the fullest.
Creating this exceptional property has been a true labour of love; simply importing the reclaimed wood from a bridge in Borneo took over a year. Another highlight is the gorgeous bamboo pavilion which houses the villa’s badminton court – an inspiring collaboration with Ibuku, the innovative design house behind many of the world’s most iconic bamboo structures.

Living Room

Follow your bliss and choose the lounge area which best suits your mood. The main living room in Rumah Hujan comes with an over-sized sofa covered in linen, with a few occasional chairs and a breezy hammock offering even more options for relaxation. The neighbouring pavilion also has a lounge room with a few occasional chairs and another dreamy hammock. Both rooms are decorated in elegant earthy tones, with full wall windows looking out to the pool and garden introducing vibrant hues of green and blue into the colour palette.

Dining Room

Each of the living rooms also features a well-appointed dining area so you’ll always have a beautiful space to gather up in when it’s time to tuck into a lavish feast. Each dining area can seat 10 guests, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen in each so preparing meals will be a breeze. If you prefer, you can also leave all the culinary endeavours to the villa’s highly praised staff.

Garden & Pool

Lush, green, and oh so Bali. Villa Rumah Ubud is surrounded by the kind of scenery that’ll sooth your mind and reawaken your senses. The villa is graced not just by one but two saltwater swimming pools, each of them heated to ensure the most blissful bathing experience amid the tropics. There are ample sun decks to lounge on and scenic terraces that are perfect for admiring the scenery and getting lost in deep conversation. If all else fails, a nap in a dreamy white hammock is sure to melt all of your stress away.

Villa Rumah Ubud features six beautifully appointed bedrooms. The rooms feature dreamy canopy beds, timber furnishings, ensuite bathrooms, and lush views of the jungle. The bedrooms are divided into the villa’s two pavilions: three rooms are housed in Rumah Hujan while three rooms occupy Rumah Senja. This ensures a lovely sense of privacy and personal space for all guests.

Villa Rumah Ubud is a six-bedroom villa that’s divided into two smaller “villas” each housing three bedrooms. The first pavilion, Rumah Hujan, is built in an L-shape around a 12 x 4 metre swimming pool and features living and dining areas along with three ensuite bedrooms. The second building, Rumah Senja, consist of two two-storey pavilions connected through a bridge. The three bedrooms are located on the upper floor, while the living areas are housed downstairs. Rumah Senja is adjoined by a 13 x 4 metre swimming pool.

Villa Manager

Villa Rumah Ubud’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
