Villa Selalu Living
Villa Selalu is a flawless fusion of pristine natural surroundings and curated interior spaces. The rooms are decorated with neutral tones and luxuriant materials, allowing the stunning scenery which surrounds to take centre stage.
Living Room
The air-conditioned living room is lined with glass doors sliding open to the 40-metre long deck hugging the villa. Polished concrete floors feel deliciously cool under bare feet, while the crisp cool colour scheme adds a sense of calm amidst the tropics. Furnished with contemporary pieces and Australian art, the living room is an elegant space in which to relax after a day spent exploring the island. Next door is a media room fitted with a flatscreen TV with satellite channels and a DVD player. If needed, this room can be converted into a fifth bedroom.
Dining Room
An eight-seater dining table sits at the centre of the the air-conditioned living room, offering lush views through glass doors. Most of your meals, however, will undoubtedly enjoyed in the barbecue pavilion by the pool, with views looking out to the ocean beyond. The villa even has its own wood fire pizza oven – the only one of its kind on the island!
Garden & Pool
Villa Selalu boasts a dazzling 18-metre swimming pool which opens to beautiful views of the ocean. The pool is surrounded by a deck dotted with sun loungers and parasols. The adjoining barbecue pavilion offers the ideal setting for alfresco meals. Down by the beach, Villa Selalu’s boathouse is equipped with snorkelling gear, stand up paddle boards and beach loungers for guests who prefer to simply relax.

Villa Selalu is a four-bedroom villa that’s built over a single floor. The villa has indoor living and dining areas. If needed, a TV room can be converted into a fifth bedroom. Villa Selalu has an 18-metre swimming pool and private access to the beach.

Your stay in Villa Selalu is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Selalu’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Villa Manager
Villa Selalu’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Security
Villa Selalu includes security between 8pm – 6am.
Location
Villa Selalu is located on the island of Gili Gede in Lombok, Indonesia. The villa sits on a scenic vantage point, with a short stroll bringing you to a private white sand beach. There is a private boathouse on the water’s edge, equipped with snorkels, masks, fins and stand up paddle boards. Gili Gede is a tiny island, just four kilometres long, and you can easily explore the island on bicycle. A fast boat from Bali to Gili Gede takes about 1.5 hours. From Lombok International Airport, transfers to the villa take about two hours.

Relaxing, quiet, fun and luxurious family holiday and celebration.
We had a week at this fabulous villa and could have stayed so much longer. Our stay was perfect from start to finish, the team at Villa Selalu are exceptional, their care for our family, our comfort and our experiences was genuine and generous.
Putu is an outstanding chef and we enjoyed organising the menu with him, his seafood BBQ for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration was heaven! The whole team, Hambali, Yudi, Putu, Nursan, Aziz, Ossi and all are just wonderful. The views from every part of the villa are breathtaking, our sunset drinks on top of the villa were a highlight each day. The snorkelling was excellent as were the traditional sailing boats. We would love to return with friends soon!

Tranquille, quality family holiday that will be a regular for us from now on.
The unique setting of this property, with 270deg sea views speaks for itself. Add in the lovely and talented chef, the fabulous service and facilties, you won’t want to be leaving anytime soon. The staff were excellent and very attentive, especially with the children. There are plenty of activities to keep the energetic entertained and quality massages for everyone else. A tempting food and cocktail menu was executed to a high level. We’ll certainly be back and can highly recommend this quiet part of the world away from the hustle of larger tourist areas. A big thanks to the team at Villa Selalu for a quality family holiday.

Villa Selalu, Gili Gede, Lombok, Indonesia is a wonderful place for a superb holiday. A beautiful private villa on a hill top just up from the beach with the most amazing views in all directions. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. They will arrange snorkelling trips, fishing trips, trips to nearby Islands, anything you want. They run the villa and its extensive grounds superbly, and Chef Putu cooks the most amazing meals to order, whether they be western food or Indonesian. The staff add wonderful touches like decorating the dining tables and surrounding seating areas every morning and evening with local flowers and other decorations. We couldn’t rank this magical place and it’s staff more highly.

Thank you to all the team at Villa Selalu for making our stay so very special. We can’t sing their praises enough. Our stay at this amazing villa was perfect in every way. The location and the views are breathtaking; the villa is 6 star – beautifully furnished and very comfortable; the pool and gardens are excellently maintained; the cocktails and meals were delicious, served in different locations around the villa. The village is in easy walking distance, and the private beach is wonderful – white sands, clear seas and best of all, no people ! Plenty of activities on offer – never a dull moment. We could have stayed for weeks. We’ll definitely be back!

Magnificent on every level
Our entire party was extremely impressed with every facet of our stay at Villa Selalu. The villa itself is straight out of Architectural Digest in that it features clean contemporary lines, beautifully & warmly furnished with every creature comfort imaginable. The beds are 100% perfect, bathrooms large & stunning, the grounds are like a park, the pool & cabana divine & views of the ocean to die for. The food is simply sublime. There is a nearby (part of Selalu) cafe close to the beach which does fabulous pizzas on site. The staff are friendly & incredibly helpful. A couple of hundred metres away is Kokomo Resort which features a fantastic restaurant. Loads of activities — bike riding, SUP boarding, snorkeling, in-house massage, picnics to nearby islands the list goes on. I will most definitely return, it is that perfect mix of location & set up which caters to a destination celebration OR simply a relaxing holiday to get away from it all. Amazing.

Great holiday with girlfriends!
I was so excited to return to Villa Selalu as I had loved my last trip there four years ago with my then significant other! This time I got to share such a treat with my girlfriends and this experience even was better. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast ready for us in a different location each day, snorkelled the colourful reef, explored the island on bikes, played ping pong, showered under stars, laughed over cocktails and ate top rate fresh meals daily! I cannot wait to return!!

Dream location , dream villa! Thanks to the owner Belinda, villa Selalu is such a modern, high-end, beautiful design and lavish villa ! We were a company of 7! We stayed one week ! It was not enough! Start with villa design, beautiful bedrooms, garden with pool where we stayed all day ! Every evening we had a different setup for dinner! Chef Putu is the Best ! He surprised us every day ! If you are tired to stay by the pool , the beach of the villa is big and clean, and lots of activities offered! My kids enjoyed the canoes, paddles, and speed boat to nearest small islands … highly recommend the villa for family gatherings! We love every minute of our stay ♥️♥️♥️

Heaven on the Hilltop
We stayed at Villa Selalu as a family group of 9. The Villa location is nothing short of spectacular. Set high on a hill with 360° views over the village, sea, surrounding gilis, and mainland Lombok.
The Villa is expansive with modern luxurious furnishings, fittings, and a choice of quality linens. The bedrooms are enormous as are the stunning adjoining bathrooms.
Amazing infinity pool area and various relaxation areas dotted around the property to take in the different aspects of the island.
At times the views include Mt Agung in Bali and Mt Rinjani on Lombok.
Villa Selalu is situated a short 5-minute walk, cycle, or boat ride to the closest village. The village is now easily accessed on foot via the newly constructed concrete bridge which was completed the day we arrived.
The Island was quiet at the time of our stay, still recovering with few visitors. Local villagers seemed genuinely happy to be welcoming guests back, helpfully enquiring if we needed any assistance or local knowledge during our stay. The village children were gorgeous providing us with a “Rock Star” welcome, much excitement, and displays of impressive bike skills whenever we ventured into the village.
We chose to dine between Villa Selalu and Kokomo resort whilst on Gili Gede. Chef Putu and the team prepared delicious and plentiful set menus on-site including a surprise birthday celebration dinner for 4 of our family members and a sumptuous seafood bbq menu.
Staff went to much effort to beautifully set up and decorate a different dining location around the Villa each evening complete with fairy lights and floral arrangements.
You could easily choose to remain at the Villa for the entirety of your stay as it provides everything you could ever want or need or get out and explore the offerings close by.
We were treated to edible garden tours on-site and at Kokomo resort with Chef Putu, The best and most unique Gili Gede massages on-site by a Village massage therapist, Several snorkeling trips on the Kokomo boat to neighboring Gilis – Layar, Rengit & Asahan, Lunches at Nautilus restaurant on Gili Asahan and Kokomo resort in the local village, Sailing on a traditional fishing boat (Yes we were brave!) and a guided bicycle tour of Gili Gede visiting all 5 villages across the island and a stop in at Marina Del Ray for some much-needed refreshments.
We cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff at Villa Selalu who were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating during our stay.
We were pleased to learn that all the staff is employed from the local village to train in hospitality/tourism…And they are exceptional at it!
We loved every second of our Villa Selalu stay, highly recommend and cannot wait to be back soon.
At the risk of rambling, we would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Belinda, Neni, Putu, Herman, Aziz (kitchen) Joe, Aziz (pool), Marisah, Jaya, Izam, Nursan, Gunawan, Moldy, Salam, Murina, Saenah, Khadizah, and Ramadan for helping to create a very memorable family holiday.

“‘Small little things can make us more than happy”
What a beautiful paradise hidden in Gili Gede. Villa Selalu is my favourite during our trip in Lombok. We were greeted by the wonderful staff waiting for us to serve the fresh coconut water iced stick. Everything in this place so perfect for me start with the great location, beautiful hills and sea view surrounded, wonderful staff and their services, the spacious bedroom, the amenities and every single details in this villa. And Villa Selalu serving the super fresh cuisine by their own garden. Thanks for making the super delicious vegetarian food for me :)

Villa Selalu was truly the highlight of our trip to Lombok for 2019! We wouldn’t have asked for a more accommodating and professionally trained team of staff to take care of us during our stay. Nothing was ever too much to ask for, with them always thinking two steps ahead of us. The food was super fresh and suited our own individual tastes, whilst breakfast was promptly served right on time at 7:30am just as we requested. We felt like we had stumbled upon our own private island during our stay, and if it wasn’t for the work back in the office, we might not have checked-out at all.

One of my new favourites in Asia. Why? The location is amazing. It’s a hidden gem on the island of Gili Gede, which is a 20 min boat ride from the Lombok mainland. The owner has created a stunning villa where the breeze flows through this stunning villa. With 4 rooms and a media room that can convert to the 5th room, this villa is perfect for 12 guests. The chef is fantastic and can cater to all dietary requirements and even fussy people like me! If you want an easy adventure then I recommend trying somewhere new and exploring Gili Gede. You will love it.

Staying at villa selalu for 3 days – an absolutely amazing time, stunning accommodation, quiet, but lots to do if you wish (fishing paddle boarding snorkling boat trips to name a few we did) and the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing’s too much trouble even my gluten free toast and extra hot coffee. I can highly recommend this secluded/private villa, it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed.

I am lucky enough to do a lot of travelling and have stayed in villas all over the world , and I never review but I have decided to write this one as this villa was beyond belief
This villa oozes quality and style ! Perched on top of a hill it has 360 degree views plus complete privacy
The infinity pool was just one of the highlights , the staff including a private chef were exceptional

We had a fabulous ‘girls week’ of luxury and indulgence at the Villa. Amazing views, stunning architecture, wonderful, unobtrusive service – it felt incredibly intimate even though a large staff made sure our every need was met. Highlights included sunset from the roof with cocktails, adventures in the boat visiting nearby islands, great snorkelling and paddle boarding along the reef and a beautiful outdoor massage whilst enjoying a gentle sea breeze.

Villa Selalu was beyond our expectations.
A dream came true and this was the best experience ever.
The Villa and the rooms were amazing. The manager, staff and cook were amazing and always there to help and make our stay even better. The breakfast was very good and with fresh food and every night the cook cooked for us what and where and when we wanted. We also made boat trips with the staff and they showed us the best places to snorkel. I could just go on and on with the positive experiences but just go and see by yourself and enjoy this private and quite and beautiful place. We were there for our honeymoon and that was the best decision ever.

Couple’s luxury retreat
Villa Selalu was recommended to my wife and I through friends – we wanted a convenient, private, luxurious getaway for 4-5 days. From the moment we arrived we were in paradise!
