Villa Sielen Diva offers stunning ocean views at every turn thanks to the villa’s elevated position and extensive use of floor-to-ceiling windows and open-plan architecture. The rooms are decorated with classic streamlined furniture, allowing the beachfront views to take centre stage.

Villa Sielen Diva’s grand 14-seater dining table is located in the centre of the open-plan living room. A table can be set outside by the pool to get the best possible views of the beach.

Villa Sielen Diva’s fun entertainment room is fully air-conditioned and offers hours of in-villa fun with a pool table, foosball table, dart board, carrom board, large selection of board games, lawn games, over 200 library books and a lavish TV nook with a host of DVDs to select from. Villa Sielen Diva is a seven-bedroom villa that’s built over three levels. The main ground level includes open-sided living areas and one bedroom. The lower beach lawn houses two bedrooms and the upper floor houses four more bedrooms. The villa has a 17 x 6 metre swimming pool and offers direct access to the beach.

Villa Sielen Diva is located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, just a 15minute drive from UNESCO Heritage site, Galle Fort. The villa is located directly on the picturesque Mihiripenna Beach framed by palm trees, stilt fishermen and if you’re lucky, you might just spot some sea turtles! There are great restaurants and many places of cultural interests within a short drive from the villa and the famed Unawatuna Beach is under 10 minutes away.

We stayed at the Sielen Diva for six nights and felt very comfortable. The surrounding towns are easily accessible, and the tuk-tuk drivers are very courteous. My husband left his mobile phone in the tuk-tuk, and many people quickly helped find the driver. We were very grateful that he returned it to us immediately.
The people are all very helpful and welcoming. It’s also worth mentioning that Turtle Beach, where you can observe the turtles on the beach, is a 10-minute walk away.

A truly lovely villa. Small and cozy, it was perfect for us. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was a 10 out of 10; you could taste that everything was freshly prepared. We spent some days in Sielen Diva and the stay was very nice. The room, the pool, and the view was fantastic. The staff and service outstanding. We can only recommend it. We read some comments about the TukTuk Mafia. This is not the case, they only do not like uber driver. Hence, check the price and negotiate well and all is good. We met one driver on the first day and the drove us the next days for a fair price.
Also we read a comment about the “watching staff” and hence that you cannot relax. We did not feel that way, however, they are around to support in the best manner.

Pure luxury in a paradise setting
The experience could not have been any more perfect. The villa is located in a beautiful natural beach setting surrounded by palm trees. The architecture and interior design is a mixture of modernism and Sri Lankan chic, every detail considered. One could spend days on the poolside loungers enjoying the vista. The food is top notch, with a top class menu serving all tastes. The staff is just wonderful, friendly and super attentive.
The wedding anniversary celebrations had amazing catering and a beautiful setting on the lawn right next to the beach.

I cannot rate this Villa highly enough. Apologies in advance for this lengthy review I can’t help myself. It is so luxurious, the staff are amazing and the views unbeatable. The attention to detail from the staff is incredible, without being overbearing, something that is a very fine line. As soon as you head down for breakfast they are in straightening up the room, and they also do a turn down service if you head out for dinner, putting lamps on, closing blinds. Incredible. We cannot thank them enough. The food was amazing, we were actually sick for the first couple of nights of our stay so tried much more of the room service than we usually would on holidays.
Another stand out is the chefs homemade jam they serve in the morning, it’s worth the stay just for the jam. We stayed in Yanai suite, which was beautiful, the decor is divine. I don’t need to say much about the views or the pool, the photos speak for themselves. The only thing I will mention is it isn’t quite in the shopping/restaurant strip of Unawatuna. We had a bike so was no problems for us (you could easily get a tuk tuk when required) and I think it’s worth it for this spacious open resort. Do yourself a favour and book this villa.

Amazing rooms, views and hospitality
My husband and I stayed at Sielan Diva for 4 nights in December and we had the best stay out of the 2.5 weeks we were in Sri Lanka. I was remote working and the Wifi was perfect. The views from the rooms looking out at the waves and beach were amazing. These views made the delicious breakfast even more enjoyable. Our stay was topped off by great service from Hasantha and his team. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Sielen Diva.

Everything in Sielen Diva is a 10.
Room was fantastic, amazing view, super comfortable and had a dream bathroom and wardrobe. Every night we slept with the sound of the sea.
24h service, kind, flexible and caring. Lead by Hasantha, the manager, the staff is also a 10.
Shared space is beautiful: terrace, pool, garden, including a basement with indoor games.
Food is fantastic, with a variety of choices running from srilankian dishes (not to miss the curry) to more occidental choices. Tip: save time for a relaxed breakfast to enjoy it.

Chic relaxed atmosphere
Our week at Sielen Diva couldn’t have been better. It’s a gorgeous space with a chic, relaxed atmosphere. A sort of neo-modernist block over the open lounge area with the crashing ocean visible from everywhere including all the rooms with their full glass walls. The villa is right on the beach, so nothing impedes the view. Because of the current situation in Sri Lanka, we were the only guests and had the whole place to ourselves all week. Hasantha, Akalanka, and the rest of the staff are all so charming and smart and genuine and took such great care of us, especially with the pains they took over a birthday dinner and our last night dinner. And the food ruined all other Sri Lankan food for us it was so good. We never wanted to leave.

Simply put, this was Paradise!
It is with zero regrets I write this review. Me and my girlfriend decided to go here for a birthday celebration in the weekend, and we were over the moooon after we got to Sielen Diva. From the reservations manager Asitha to the general manager Mr Hasantha to Akalanka and Supun ( two employees who helped me a lot with a B’Day surprise / decorations and our overall stay ) everything was superb. Food was 10/10 as well.
One of the best places in Sri Lanka one can find. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I’m sure you will not be regretting.

Wonderful family break at Sielen Diva
We spent a delightful 5 nights at Sielen Diva with our two kids (10 and 7) in February. The villa itself is more like a stunning home (my son said we were ‘living like Ronaldo’!) with just a few rooms, all fencing the beautiful beach and ocean. We were greeted like family and the team could not do enough for us throughout our stay. Our room was spacious for 4 of us, with a large bathroom. The breakfasts were amazing (those pancakes!) as was every meal that we had at the villa. The pool is freshwater and despite it being a mostly couples’ villa, no one minded our kids enjoying the pool for hours. The location is great as you are close to lovely beaches at Dallawella (with turtles!) and Unawatuna, as well as the beautiful fort city of Galle a bit further away. But all within easy reach via tuk-tuk, which the villa organized easily for us. All the staff were polite and friendly, and could not do enough for us as a family. Special mention to Charith who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help with every query and question, from restaurant recommendations to lost flip flops! He made us feel like one of the Sielen Diva family. A wonderful villa that we will always remember fondly, and hope to return to one day. Thank you.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Sielen Diva. It was our first stop in Sri Lanka and the villa really is a stunning and relaxing location. Everyone that worked there was really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you! A big shout out to Hasanta who managed to work his magic to get us a table at a restaurant in Galle that was fully booked which was one of the best meals we had in the country!
Where they also went above and beyond was when we realized we had left our passports and cash in the safe after we had checked out! 🙈 By that time we had driven 2hrs down the coast so Hasanta reassured us he would keep it in the villa safe until we returned to the area a week later. It was such peace of mind and really appreciated! Can’t wait to return again one day and would recommend anyone to book a visit as well! The only thing I would change next time is to stay longer! 🏝😁
