The villa consists of two pavilions which create a sumptuously private setting that centres on manicured lawns and a picture perfect pool. The wide open rooms are dominated by full wall glass and natural timber, recalling to mind the minimalist mansions of mid-century America.

Villa Tana Takah’s bold minimalist design recalls to mind mid-century landmarks from Philip Johnson’s Glass House to Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House. Every angle and every piece of furniture is just right and never too much. This impossibly elegant and undeniably cool villa wouldn’t look amiss in a Bond movie. The ingenious layout of the property ensures a level of privacy that’s fit for 007 himself. The austere beauty of the villa and the restrained elegance of the garden are a match made in design heaven.

Living Room

The living room is a sleek and seductive space positioned on the ground floor of the main house. Surrounded by full wall glass on three sides, the space takes full advantage of the manicured gardens and the villa’s impressive architecture. The minimalist furniture beautifully matches the surrounding structures. Guests can recline back on a plush sofa while watching movies and TV shows on the TV that’s cleverly mounted just above the window.

Dining Room

The villa’s dining table is also housed in the glass encased living areas, allowing for an abundance of natural light to accompany your every meal. Crafted from natural wood, the long dining table can comfortably seat all six guests staying at the villa. The dining area fluidly extends to an open plan kitchen complete with all the necessities and then some, including a Nespresso machine, rice cooker, blender, juicer, wine fridge – and more.

Garden

The measured beauty of the manicured gardens matches the villa’s sleek design to a T. Encompassed between the villa’s two pavilions is a lovely stretch of lawn that’s perfect for fun and play or perhaps for a spot of yoga. The star of the show, however, is the eight-metre-long pool which stretches between the two buildings and offers the perfect excuse for enjoying a dip any time of day. Nestled between the two buildings and enveloped by the villa’s high outer walls, this is one of those rare pools that ensures complete privacy from the outside world. The pool is framed by a sleek deck with chic sun chairs to lounge on.

Villa Tana Takah features three bedrooms. Like the villa itself, the bedrooms are a study in effortless minimalist design. These soothing sanctuaries are tailor made for restorative sleep with a calm colour palette relying on natural timber, raw concrete and crisp white linen, with full wall windows introducing a touch of the lush outdoors. There are two bedrooms in the main house with one room located in the second pavilion. All three rooms feature king-sized beds and two are ensuite. The third room has a dedicated bathroom right next door.

Villa Tana Takah is a three-bedroom villa that’s divided into two buildings. The living areas and one bedroom are located on the ground floor of the main building. The upper floor houses one bedroom and a study room. The third bedroom is located on the upper floor of the second building, with staff quarters located on the ground floor. This building is crowned with a rooftop terrace that’s great for practicing yoga. The two pavilions are connected through an elevated walkway. In between the two buildings is a lovely garden and an 8 x 3 metre swimming pool.

Villa Manager

Villa Tana Takah’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Security

Villa Tana Takah includes night time security between 11pm – 7am.

Villa Tana Takah is located in the up and coming region of Pererenan in Bali, Indonesia. Pererenan is a relaxed neighbourhood located just up the coast from trendy Canggu. Though Pererenan is quickly catching up to its buzzy neighbour, for now, this area remains more relaxed and tranquil while still offering all the creature comforts a modern traveller could ask for. Villa Tana Takah is just a five-minute drive from Pererenan Beach and the nearest restaurants are even closer by. The Flow Bali and Warung Kezia are located just down the street, while trendy spots like Woods and The Shady Fox are a 10-minute walk away.
