Villa Vajra Living
This serene property is surrounded by tropical landscape gardens on the slopes of a stunning river valley. The road to the villa is through a passage that leads to a raised wooden walkway through uninterrupted rice fields, ensuring you of electrifying views from any part of the villa.
Living Room
The living and dining area has an open-plan design with lovely cathedral-type ceilings. At one end of the living room is a semi-circular terrace jutting out into the tropical jungle.
Dining Room
The other end has a fully furnished dining area with an 8-seater dining table and a fully equipped kitchen.
Media Room
The study come media room has a 27 inch flat screen TV, a DVD player and Bose sound system. A huge selection of books and DVDs are available for guest use. A long study desk is placed in this room with amazing views of the rainforest.
Gym
Below the living room is a fully equipped gymnasium.
Garden & Pool
The outdoor ambience of Villa Vajra is a marvel! A lovely swimming pool with a Jacuzzi is set on a wooden deck next to the living area. The pool deck has enough sun loungers to lie back and enjoy baking under the sun. A series of steps lead down from the swimming pool to a furnished terrace and an outdoor dining pavilion. The villa descends beautifully to a calm river which lies below a steep gorge. The villa gardens are perfect for a lovely evening walk.
Villa Vajra Bedrooms
Villa Vajra offers three bedrooms and a study to comfortably accommodate a family or a large group. All three bedrooms are beautifully designed with smooth timber flooring and contemporary features to ensure supreme comfort and privacy for all guests.

As you enter through the main gate, you will find the study to the right, the master bedroom to the left and a valley guest room below the master bedroom. The master suite has a queen size bed with sliding doors on three sides that open out to majestic views of rice fields. It has a small balcony with day beds to enjoy your morning coffee. The en-suite bathroom has a black terrazzo tub, a Jacuzzi and a shower.

Villa Manager
Villa Vajra’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Villa Vajra Location
Villa Vajra is set in a quiet rice-farming villa, just 10 minutes’ away from Bali’s cultural capital of Ubud. The wide array of restaurants, shops, galleries, spas and activities are a short drive away from the villa. The central Ubud market is just 6 kilometres away from the villa. The bustling towns of Seminyak and Kuta are about 40 kilometres away.

DIVINE!!!
I recently had the pleasure of staying here with my family daughter/son-in-law and my three grandchildren. We all had the most wonderful experience on so many levels. The staff are beautiful, kind and thoughtful people how go the extra mile. The food is pure Balinese as it should be. This is rural Bali with the accompanying culture. I’m thrilled that the children have had such a wonderful introduction to Bali. We were there during the preparations for Sawaswati so Gamelan practices were heard over the rice paddies. Much nicer than the tram going past my place. And fireflies in the rice paddies at night. Our joy was to count them each night. Then there was kite flying in the afternoons but we weren’t as successful as the Balinese at this. Still there’s ways next time. Thank you to each and every one of you. Staff, fireflies, geckos and gamelans made Bali come to life.

LOVELY ACCOMODATION
The Villa Vajra is a lovely accomodation just as it looks in the photos. Delightful staff who have excellent english and looked after us all very well. Food is cooked by a number of trained chefs and is of a very high standard. We went for the Balinese and really enjoyed all the dishes. The local wine is drinkable although its a good idea to bring your duty free allowance in. Gusti transported us into Ubud as needed and we booked the odd trip such as a bike tour with halobike tours from the villa. The owners Joel and Ngarratha are a lovely couple and full of enthusiasm. I took a walk up the local village main street which is interesting – you will meet relatives of the villa staff as you wander up. Overall a really great place to stay in central Bali.

RELAXING, LUXURIOUS, AND UNIQUE
We were a group of 8 friends. Villa Vajra is nestled into a lush jungle and rice field setting. We were astonished at the beauty both surrounding the villa and the balinese and modern designs within the villa itself. We also felt safe with their security, and welcomed by the friendly staff. The food: the staff makes exquisite meals at very reasonable prices. We dined in the open common area, and felt like royalty! Breakfast is a choice of western-style or Balinese – delicious! The staff is very helpful in organizing activities and arranging transportation. They also collected our laundry and returned it the next day, fresh and folded, for a very reasonable fee. The rooms were very nice and each one is different. The owner Joel is very friendly, and he came by a few times to visit and he gave us some great restaurant recommendations in Ubud. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool, jacuzzi, lounge area, and the terraced walkways. We wish we could have stayed longer!
