As you step through the main gate, you are immediately immersed in the airy feel of the main building, which is light and unfettered just as you would expect from a property set on 1,100 m² of land. As the property was built as a private residence, it immediately gives a comfortable at-home feeling.

With its own outdoor bar and dining area that overlooks the sapphire blue swimming pool that is set in the middle of a landscaped tropical garden, Villa Wiljoba comes equipped with several dining and recreation areas.

Living Room

The main living quarters are graciously spread across the ground floor of this magnificent property skillfully bringing together the classic elegance of modern tropical design, whilst benefiting from the simplicity of execution. The room is finished in soft pastels, with neutrally colored curtains billowing gently in the breeze, Jacobean mahogany of its locally sourced wooden furniture, subtle tones of several large sofas and invitingly comfortable chairs, which are accentuated by the Arabesque weaving of the luxurious oriental rugs.

Dining Room

Framed by lush tropical plants and verdant banquettes, the sliding door entrance opens up on to the lavishly finished expanse of the mixed-used living, dining and bar area, which is beautifully decorated with an eclectic mix of worldly knick-knacks and further accentuated with a splash of colour given off by the purple of rich orchids and freshly-cut flowers arranged throughout the room.

The white of the kitchen island and the mirror-like polish of the dining table set the rhythm and reinforce the design style, which provides plentiful space for day time as well as evening entertainment.

Gym

For those who like keeping fit on holidays, Villa Wiljoba boats a state-of-the-art gym that overlooks the pool and gardens. The sliding doors of the gym can be opened for fresh air and the TV that is mounted in the area ensures you’ll never miss the latest TV series while working out.

Garden & Pool

Villa Wiljoba has been designed as a sanctuary reminiscent of private compounds of the old age, with the outdoor space surrounded within the entirety of the property, providing much sought privacy yet remaining comfortably spacious.

The vast majority of the property overlooks the sparkling waters of the swimming pool, which changes from turquoise to sapphire blue depending on the light of the day and reflects the translucent sky above, and serves as the centre point of the entire villa.

The dark grey boundaries of the pool, subtly tie in with the the black sand of the nearby beach and are accentuated by the striking, vivid greens of the sun loungers and umbrellas, all of which interlink the fresh greenery of the tropical garden. The attention to detail and the small finishing touches will please the most pernickety of tastes.

This spaciously appointed property benefits from six bedrooms, large enough to accommodate an entire extended family or a big group of friends. The entire sleeping quarters is generously spaced out across the breadth of the property, providing enough privacy to each guest. All bedrooms are finished in a modern tropical style, while each benefits from its own distinct finishing touches.

Master Bedroom

Sheer space and luxury are encapsulated in the essence of the property’s master bedroom. The ceiling is further highlighted by the wooden beams of the central opening accenting towards the sky. Here, modern simplicity of the furniture is effortlessly combined with beautiful art adorning the softly coloured walls, beneath which sit majestic plum mahogany armoires, and hand woven rugs that cover the light sandstone floor. A splash of colour is added by rich gold and jade shades of the decorative cushions.

Right next door there is a luxurious, spa-like master bathroom with a lavish bathtub that the dominant feature of the room. For those, too impatient to sit in a bath, there is a large walk in rain shower.

Both guests benefit from twin sinks and an expansive mirror that adds to the overall feeling of largesse. Fresh orchids add the unmistakable touch of modern oriental opulence found throughout the rest of the property.

Guest Bedrooms

The property boast five spacious guest bedrooms, finished in a cohesive style, each with subtle individual touches added to stand out just enough without ever feeling boring.

The second bedroom is a spacious twin setup with a lavish floor to ceiling glass-fronted wardrobe adjoined by a working desk and a comfortable dining chair.

The third is a clean cut setup, which benefits from a large double bed, light wood bedside tables and plenty of outdoor balcony space, which is complemented by the greenery of the potted plants. Its clean, yet attractive layout is advanced by a bright en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower.

The fourth bedroom has a similar spacious design with striking views across the neighbouring area, further accentuated by the blues and yellow patterned cushions and throw over. Subtle decorations are brought to life by the striking art on the walls.

The last of the bedrooms, has a more garden feel to it with large sliding doors reminiscent of palatial grounds from the days gone by, with royal accents brought out through out the room by the floral patterns of the bedding and the striking copper overtones of the room’s artwork, set across from a traditional rocking chair perfect for that afternoon nap.

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

Villa’s in-house chef has years of experience cooking both Asian and Western meals. He is happy to accommodate any special requests or dietary needs. Dinner parties and other special events can also be catered for.

A chauffeur will provide you with the ultimate experience! A car and driver can be a great way to explore you holiday destination. Villa rates include complimentary 8 hours/day seven-seater Toyota Innova car and driver is on stand-by for up to eight hours of complimentary guest use (excluding petrol).

Security

Villa Wiljoba is kept safe and secure 24 hours a day by four trained security staff working rotating shifts.

Set just a couple of minutes walk away from the enchanting dark sands of Nelayan Beach, Villa Wiljoba is the perfect spot for beachgoers, sunset lovers and, most of all, surfers seeking to catch that perfect wave.

Located in the very pastoral Canggu, the villa offers a chance to observe the daily rhythms of Balinese village life with much of the area featuring quietly undulating terrain with the rice paddies that typify of this area.

The area is popular with many well-heeled expats who choose to downshift in Bali and is only round the corner from Canggu Club, Bali’s first country club.

Should you feel slightly more adventurous, the villa comes with a car and driver who will happily take you to nearby Batubelig and Seminyak on request (located 15 to 25 minutes away).
