Wild Culture Yala Living
Wild Culture Yala immerses you in the wild beauty of Yala and Sri Lanka. The villa sits amid beautiful green gardens framed by rice fields and palm trees, with a small miniature lake adding a soothing element. The villa has a fluid, open plan layout typical to the tropics, with animal prints and natural materials nodding to the exotic wildlife waiting right on your doorstep.
Living Room
The living room is a breezy open plan space that fluidly connects to the lush green gardens. There are plush rattan sofas to relax on and framed images of Yala’s exotic residents to inspire your visit to the great national park. The villa’s generous layout allows you to enjoy your time together as well as to splinter off into smaller groups, whether in the garden or on the peaceful veranda’s hugging the bedrooms.
Dining Room
The dining area is another beautiful space that invites guests to enjoy the indoor/outdoor lifestyle of the tropics to the fullest. Framed by exotic leopard themed partition walls, the dining area can easily seat a full entourage for elaborate feasts prepared by the villa’s culinary team.

The villa is immersed in lush greenery, surrounded by immaculate gardens with gorgeous palm trees and a miniature lake. The crowning jewel is a huge swimming pool made for rigorous laps and lazy dips alike. The pool is framed by a sun deck where you can soak up the rays. Alternatively, you can relax on a shaded day bed with your nose buried in a good book. Those gorgeous grounds also have a surprising treat in store: your very own archery range!

Your stay in Wild Culture Yala is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Wild Culture Yala’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Sri Lankan hospitality.
Villa Manager
Wild Culture Yala’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
Wild Culture Yala is located in the village of Kirinda on the south coast of Sri Lanka – right on the doorstep of Yala National Park. The park’s main entrance is just 20 minutes away. Besides having the highest density of leopards in the world, Yala is home to Sri Lankan elephants, buffalos, sloth bears, crocodiles, and more than 200 species of birds. The surrounding area also offers a stunning setting for open water fishing and scuba diving, with the Basses Reef Lighthouses located right off the coast.

We headed to Wild Culture Yala with our friends for a double birthday celebration and had an amazing time. The location is superb, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful atmosphere. The food was excellent, with great flavors and generous portions. Especially the Sri Lankan food.
What truly made the experience special was the outstanding hospitality and service from the team. They arranged cakes for the birthdays and decorated our rooms as a surprise. Also arranged a surprise bonfire and fireworks for us. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure our celebration was memorable. We have to mention Lahiru’s excellent service during our stay.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yala, whether for a special occasion or just a relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to visit again.

If you are thinking about it just book it! I rarely leave reviews but we travelled for 20 nights and did 2 nights here and it was AMAZING! Two adults and two kids, food incredible, rooms incredible, pool biggest we found could do some lengths. Staff go above and beyond!

Had a wonderful 2 day stay at Wild Culture. The room was large with a great view over the rice fields, and the resident kingfishers looking for a meal in the adjacent canal. The bathroom provided plenty of space for two guests and the shower was welcome after the safari. The food was excellent. And the dining setting by the pool was great. The pool was long enough to do a few laps to massage any cramps from tired muscles, or just float around. The grounds were also nicely set out and the accommodation well spaced providing a relaxing atmosphere. But, the highlight was the staff. Super friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Wild Culture for one night as part of a 10-day tour of the south of Sri Lanka.
The room was great: it was large and featured a big bath with a separate shower and toilet. We also had a balcony overlooking a paddy field, which was a very nice touch.
For food, we had dinner and breakfast. Everything was à la carte, freshly made, and of good quality. We really enjoyed it, and they even made gluten-free bread separately.
The service was very good and polite. The staff were incredibly proactive: they even prepared biscuits and water for us for our two safaris. They truly could not do enough for us.
The location was perfect and quiet. It is a small hotel that is very conveniently situated just 15 minutes away from Yala National Park. Everything was absolutely perfect.

This place is absolutely beautiful luxurious soo stylish. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered. The pool overlooking the rice fields with a fabulous bar and cocktails 🍹is pure magic. The food is excellent. I loved the gorgeous animal photography and the artwork in the rooms taken by the talented Vassi as well as the stunning ponds 🪷🪷. The bed was incredibly comfortable with soft sheets and the best pillows, and the powerful shower was heaven after a day on safari. The attention to detail is truly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The rooms feel more like spacious, stylish apartments.
A special mention to Upula, Dimithu, Yasad, Suresh and the entire Wild Culture team you all made my stay unforgettable.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, yet beautifully relaxed, which instantly melted away the exhaustion of a long journey and set the tone for a truly peaceful experience.
