Zenrinso Living

Thanks to full wall windows and a clever floorplan, Zenrinso exudes an abundance of space and light. A natural and neutral colour scheme allows the premium materials to shine and for the beautiful scenery to take centre stage. The undeniable highlight is the large living room that sprawls over the upper floor. The open floor plan makes this the heart and soul of the chalet, a space where everyone will naturally gravitate to after a long day of skiing. There is nothing quite like cosying up by the fire after a hearty meal, surrounded by all your favourite people, watching as the snow falls outside your window.

Living Room

The chalet’s upper floor living areas are a thing of beauty. This fluid space is crowned with a high slanted ceiling and surrounded by floor to ceiling windows. The main seating area features ample sofas and armchairs arranged around a sleek modern fireplace, with full wall windows framing views of the surrounding forest. If you feel like bingeing a movie instead of gazing at the fire, move over to the “cosy corner” that’s tucked to the side of the room. This plush area features a generous sofa that’s angled towards an 86-inch TV mounted on the wall.

Dining Room

The dining area is also incorporated to the generous living room that takes up most of the chalet’s upper floor. The square dining table is positioned to the centre of the room, inviting everyone to gather up for long and lavish meals. The dining table can easily seat a group of 10, with more seats available at the breakfast bar that separates the dining area from the kitchen. A bubble chandelier adds a dreamy quality to the dining area, one that’s amplified by the snow-covered views stretching out behind the windows. The open plan kitchen is fully setup for gourmands and coffee lovers alike, with appliances including an espresso machine, rice cooker, milk frother and more.

It was my first time staying here. Zenrinso, a luxurious rental villa in Hakuba It was a memorable stay and I was very satisfied ^ ^

Anyway, stylish and fashionable! ! The interior and space design are both sophisticated and beautiful no matter where you look, so I took lots of photos.

A luxurious yet homely and extraordinary space. It was truly a dream-like stay. There was a snowy landscape outside, and the view from the window was beautiful both in the morning and at night.

The room has large windows and a high ceiling, but there is also floor heating, so it was very warm even in the harsh winter. There were 6 bedrooms, which were spacious enough, and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen utensils such as tableware and rice cookers were also fully stocked.

Also, the bath is wonderful, so I recommend bringing your own bath salts! (I forgot) There was also a drying room for boards etc. and a washing machine ^ ^ This is a wonderful inn where anyone can have an impressive and satisfying stay. It has become my favorite inn and I highly recommend it when staying in Hakuba. Please let me stay again ^ ^

Next time I would like to stay for about a week! I’m really thankful to you.

I’m a snowboarder who goes to Hakuba at least 5 times every season🏂, but I usually only stay at accommodations that cost around 5,000 yen. This was my first time staying in a luxury villa of a different order of magnitude 🏠

Of course it’s a nice and luxurious space, but what surprised me the most was that it wasn’t cold at all!
The large window on one wall is a picture window with a view of the snowy scenery, and it’s so beautiful! But wouldn’t it be cold if the opening was removed like that? 🤔

The living room with its high atrium has a great sense of openness! But wouldn’t it be cold if the ceiling was this high? 🤔 There were no such worries. You can feel the airtightness and insulation properties of the fittings, and the floor heating provides a warm and cozy atmosphere. It’s rather hot lol. It was so comfortable that I couldn’t believe it was winter in Hakuba. After all, luxury villas are built differently…🤗

Some vacation rentals have only one shower or bath and you have to wait in line, but here you don’t have to worry about that because each bedroom has its own shower or bath. However, if I come to Hakuba, I’ll go to a hot spring. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils, there’s a washer/dryer, and the bedding is absolutely fine. There was no “I wish I had that”. This is said to be more comfortable than my own home…😇

For someone like me who skis a lot, I think it’s best to stay at a cheap hotel and go to eat at Echoland, but I thought it would be nice to have a luxurious stay like this once in a while. If you stay outside of high season or if you stay with up to 14 people, the price per person will be more reasonable, and if you have 14 people, you won’t be able to go to a restaurant easily, so you can all make your own meals in the villa! There are so many ways to enjoy it.
I would like to incorporate it into my future Hakuba stays while making some ingenuity 😉

By the way, if you use Google Maps, you will be directed to the side of the Happo slope, but be careful as you cannot access it from the Happo side. Enter from Wadano Forest. There is an alley to the right of Hakuba Grand Apartments, so go through it and go around north of Hakuba Grand Apartments to arrive. We recommend setting your navigation to Hakuba Grand Apartments. Also, snow plows cannot enter the driveway of Wadano Forest, so it gets bumpy when it snows, but if you go slowly you should be fine.

It was my first time staying at this villa, and it was truly a comfortable villa to live in! Great location where you can go to Happo One Ski Resort in 5 minutes! ! I really recommend it for going snowboarding. It was a wonderful combination of sophisticated space and homey feel. It was a fun day and I could feel the care put into each and every tableware and decoration with an Asian-style design!

    Sorry to bother you again.

This is a luxury resort condominium that you will definitely want to use again! Zenrinsou just opened in January 2023. I used it with 14 friends in February. The interior is chic and stylish, the living/dining room has an open feel, the island-shaped open kitchen, the fireplace and large sofa make you feel soothed just by looking at it, and I knew I didn’t want to leave the moment I arrived (lol). The view from the large windows and balcony. The snowy scenery is also very beautiful, making it perfect for people who want to work away in an unusual space. There are 6 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 14 people♪ There are ski resorts, hot springs, and saunas nearby, so it was great to be able to enjoy leisure activities unique to Hakuba!

It was the best. The first surprise when you walk in the door. The ceiling is higher than what you see in the photo and the interior is sophisticated. “Maybe it’s even better than I imagined?”, my expectations swell. When I went up the stairs and saw the living room, I was even more surprised. wide. It’s spacious anyway. The floor is wide, the sky is also wide, and it is high. It’s not a very large space, but it’s a warm, comfortable and rich space, and I spent most of my time in the living room during my several nights there. It’s also nice that the floor plan allows you to continue communicating with your companions while cooking.

The room had all the elements you would want in a villa. The quality of the bedding was good, and the sheets felt great against my skin. Thanks to you, I fell asleep faster than usual and slept longer than usual.
What was unexpectedly nice was the outside view.

When you look out the window of another villa or luxury hotel, you can see neighboring villas and facilities, making it impossible to fully appreciate the unreality. However, in this villa, you can see neighboring buildings from the bedroom, but you can only see nature outside the living room window. I watched in a daze as small birds gathered in a nearby tree. These elements are also important when immersing yourself in an extraordinary experience, and I felt truly refreshed.
