Villa Maju really serves up a blissful stay, we were a group of six and comfortably enjoyed the three dreamy bedrooms on offer. All bedrooms have private indoor/outdoor ensuite bathrooms featuring decadent double vanities and a pampering rainfall shower. The communal living areas are true to traditional Indonesia design with tall roofs towering over the open-air space. Fluidly connecting the sofa area to the kitchen and dining room are koi fish ponds, dotted with lilypads all of which overlooks the private swimming pool and bale. Adding a touch of glam is the lavish Teppanyaki Bar that is overlooked by an eight-seater dining table. Enjoy the night off with the help of the villas skilled private chef as we did below.
Checking-in
When the check-in process is an absolute breeze, you know you are going to be in great hands throughout your stay. Upon opening the villas doors – Villa Maju was a blissful oasis (hard to believe it’s central Seminyak location) with peaceful music playing and Bali’s traditional scent of insence burning. The staff has taken the car to prepare the villa before our arrival, and it absolutely sparkled with clean surfaces and fresh florals sprinkled throughout.
Attention to Detail
We were celebrating a birthday during our stay and weren’t requesting the staff to make a fuss. Villa Maju’s staff went above and beyond to make us feel special and arranged a scruptious dinner that we enjoy family style of a mixture of Indonesian and Asian cuisine. Going the extra mile, we woke up to a beautiful Happy Birthday sign and breakfast that we pre-arranged with them served promptly at 8am as requested. A stay at Villa Maju truly will have you feeling like no request is ever a hassle.
